Two young people resist the Social Machine across three steampunk city-states surrounded by post-petroleum apocalypse wastelands. Shevi and Jackson are free from social expectations after they collapsed the Trintico Corporate Society. They and their closest companions have found refuge in an abandoned home built in the framework of a high-voltage transmission tower in the wastelands that surround Trintico. But a new threats looms over them, a deviant tyrant who wears the skin of his predecessor and enslaves people to work in his horrific Tower of Power. Shevi's ex-fiance is among the prisoners there. Shevi and Jackson set out to restart the Social Machine of the Trintico Corporate Society to defeat this new nemesis.

About the author

Timothy Koch was born in Little Rock. He grew up in north central Arkansas where he got his first library card from the Independence County Library in Batesville and became a lover of books immediately. Although he didn't finish high school, he did manage to get a GED and graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Architecture with honors. After college he stayed in Fayetteville where he writes and does architectural drafting. He enjoys running, cooking, and playing cards and board games with his wife and three children.
