My three perfect vampire matches. A trip to the mountains for an awkward holiday. Uninvited party guests with an insatiable hunger only I can quench?

The celebration of Winter Nights is about to suck. And not in a good way.

If I’m going to survive a disaster and save Kingston, Diego, and Austin from pouting during their favorite time of year, I’ll have to summon a back-world Christmas miracle. Because if I don’t succeed, I’ll disappoint the guys who promised me forever. I’ll ruin the holidays for everyone.

So, a miracle it is.

If only it wasn’t so bloody.

This is an upper young adult/new adult reverse harem paranormal romance for 17+. It takes place between Blood Rebel and Blood Debt.

Ginna Moran is the author of an array of both paranormal and contemporary young adult novels including the Demon Within, Falling into Fame, and Spark of Life series.

She started writing poetry as a teenager in a spiral notebook that she still has tucked away on her desk today. Her love of writing grew after she graduated high school and she completed her first unpublished manuscript at age eighteen.

When she realized her love of writing was her life’s passion, she studied literature at Mira Costa College in Northern San Diego. Besides writing young adult novels, she was senior editor, content manager, and image coordinator for Crescent House Publishing Inc. for four years.

Aside from Ginna’s professional life, she enjoys binge watching television shows, playing pretend with her daughter, and cuddling with her dogs. Some of her favorite things include chocolate, anything that glitters, cheesy jokes, and organizing her bookshelf.

Ginna is currently hard at work on her next novel.

I was hired to proofread this book. The only aspects of the story that I directly influenced were the spelling and grammar and some of the minor plot points (because I'd also strongly pressured Ms. Moran to write me Christmas vampires this year). If you feel that my connection to the book makes my review untrustworthy, so be it, but this is my honest review.

Like any Christmas romance with an already established couple, this book severely lacks one of the key elements of most cheesy Christmas stories, and that's the kindling of a new romance (or at least the rekindling of an old romance that had been previously smothered). That is my one complaint about this book, but it's also something I was already expecting because I knew Jewel and her boys were already an item. I just forgot how much I miss that element when it's not there.

Even though the key element of a new relationship was missing from this story, it included a fun twist on the classic stranger stranded in an uber-festive town because of car trouble trope.

Enjoyable short

The spirit of Christmas vampire style is strange. The guys want to celebrate is the old way, but first have to celebrate the Days of the Divide with Mitchell and some of the board. A donor exchange is just one of the events. I love the ending and waiting for more.

Cute holiday story

Nice novella about jewel and her vampires over what used to be known as Christmas, only now vampire style. No real overall storyline or plot advancement but still nice.

fantastic

I can't wait to delve deeper into the Divine Vampire Heir series after such a great induction. This book was a fantastic read, and I'm excited to see what's in store for the characters in the next installments.

A short insight into a world that is not as perfect as it seems on the surface.
