Tina Saxon lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband and two kids. She’s not afraid to try new things because it’s outside the box of typical housewife. CEO of her home is by far the most rewarding job she has ever had. Her jobs include, but are not limited to, seamstress, carpenter, craft extraordinaire, PTA President, chauffeur, dance mom, mediator—of mentioned kids—and author. Once upon a time she was a Financial Analyst but traded budgets and forecasts in for diapers and bottles. The former was definitely easier but the latter more fulfilling.

Tina’s love for reading surged into her passion for writing. Wanting to bring the reader an intriguing story that’s hard to put down with steamy love scenes that heat you up, she’s always thinking of the perfect way to take you down that path.

This review contains MASSIVE SPOILERS!!

Read at your own risk.

The queen of the rants here. I’m about to spoil the whole enchilada. Do I feel sorry for spilling the beans that no ARC reader has done yet? Let me think for a minute.....

Thinking..
Thinking...
Thinking......

Nope.... 😁😁

Ok. Jokes aside.

********Spoilers Ahead********

The book starts with hero and his high school girlfriend are so much in love, hero is leaving for Navy Seals training. 2 months have passed and he hasn’t received any contact from his love so he goes back to his town looking for her. He finds out that his love was in a car accident and doesn’t remember him at all. He goes to his house and his father who’s an abuser is there. His father insinuates that he needs to teach his girlfriend a lesson so he beats his father up. His girlfriend’s father shows up and told him that he’d killed his father and he needs to leave or else he’ll be going to jail and he’ll lose his military career that he won’t have anything left since he already lost his girlfriend. So he leaves.

10 years have passed and he thinks about the love he has for his “then” girlfriend but he flirts with 2 woman, implying that he hasn’t been celibate during those 10 years.

He sees his “girlfriend” again at a bar minutes after he’s flirted with a woman. He then decides that he would make her fall in love with him again. She still doesn’t remember him.

Still with me?

Ok. They spent time, he finds out with some DNA test he gets done that she in fact his girlfriend. He wasn’t sure that she was his ex since she wasn’t acting like she was “supposed” to act.

So he starts to date her, falls in love with her and she with him. She’s hiding something. He asked her to marry him. She said yes.

She confessed to him the truth that she was hiding. She was raped by her stepfather and left for dead. It confused the hero because he knew that her father wasn’t a “rapist”.

Still with me?

Here’s the part where it gets stupid confusing. And when I mean stupid cause come on!! Anyone with common sense would’ve already guessed that twist.

He finds the truth about who “Ellie” really was. He thought she was his high school girlfriend when she wasn’t. She’s in fact the identical twin of said ex girlfriend. They were separated at birth and adopted by different people. He’s in love or was love with both. So now Ellie thinks she’s second best and a replacement for his first love.
He takes her to meet his ex girlfriend, her twin.

He gets the surprise of his life that Everly (former girlfriend) remembers him and she has his son. Who’s 10 years old. His best friend (hero’s bff) has raised said son for almost 10 years as his own.

Everly talks to Ellie and tells her that Kase (hero) he’s not hers but hers. And that she’s second best. Ellie leaves him because she’s insecure that and he cant really loves her, he says that he does. But she goes and said that he has a son with his first love that she can’t give him that because she couldn’t have kids.

His ex girlfriend’s (Everly) father was the one who killed his father and made him think he was the one who did. Her father separated them playing all of them.

“Everly telling me that she loves me. Ellie telling me that she loves me. I slam my skull into my room door a couple of times, hoping I can knock the noise out of it. I love Everly. I mean Ellie. Fuck.”

So now you see hero actually doesn’t know who he really loves.

Everly (then girlfriend) got her memories back 10 months prior so she hires a private investigator and she goes looking for him and she saw him with one of the women he was flirting in the beginning. The realtor, who he thought she was very beautiful and he could have slept with her if he hadn’t been told to stay away from this woman by his new boss.

So Everly wants to fight for him and she goes looking for him with their son in tow to spend time together. Before this they both kissed and he hasn’t told anything to Ellie, mainly because she hadn’t returned his calls.

Ellie’s was missing, he goes looking for her. Everly realizes that she was bitch to her sister. So she wants to play nice with her.

If you want to know who ends up with who. Here it is.
Everly ends up with her husband. She fell for him.

Hero ends up with Elli and they’re expecting a baby. It’s a miracle when heroines can’t have babies and all of the sudden they get pregnant.

Jesus christ...this book! I was just happily reading along thinking I knew what direction this story was going to take and them...BAM...what the f-ck just happened!!?? And that is all I am going to say about that. Do yourself a favor and go into this one blind. You won't regret it.

description

That said, this lost two whole stars because the "holy shit" twist(s) morphed into three of the things I hate most in my romance books not to mention the last 30% of the book felt a little too over the top in the drama...sigh. If you want to know more feel free to message me.

description

Even with those things this book was still good. Tina Saxton is a "new to me author" and one who I will for sure be keeping my eye on to see what she has up her sleeve next. The writing was fantastic. It was very well paced. The plot was engaging. It had twists and turns. The sex was hot. The first 60% was pretty much angst-free, the last 30% was crazy angsty and bordered on ridiculous (IMO). There was an excellent cast of secondary characters. Both Ellie and Kase were very likable main characters; Last, it was all wrapped up in a satisfying ending.

description

So yea, overall it was a good read. The first 60% was undoubtedly 5-Star material. I just don't think we needed everything but the kitchen sink thrown in for the last 30%. It took SO much away from the connection Kase and Ellie had. Especially the one thing that completely turned me off, and honestly, I didn't think it was a necessary addition AT ALL. What can you do?

"I'm usually not the sheep. It scares the hell out of me that my body doesn't care if he's the shepherd or the wolf. Either way, I'll be his."

As a huge lover and supporter of the Twist of Fate series by this author I was really excited for her next book Blinding Echo. And she didn't disappoint. Tina Saxon is definitely the queen of unexpected twists and turns. Lucky for me this story is set up in the same universe as the Twisted Fate series which gave this book automatically even more sympathy points.

""Sii la luce che ti guida," I whisper in Italian. "It means be the light that leads you.""

I need to be careful how to write this review. If you read reviews before reading the book, please make sure they are spoiler free. To get the full reading experience of this story, that has so much to give, it's utmost important to go in as blind as you can handle.

"His touch seeps into my skin, tranquilizing my fractured soul. He's healing me from the outside, in."

The characters Ellie and Kase form a force that resembles a twister of emotions. They will hit you hard and unexpected. The characters flawed and real will grow on you from the first pages forward. You'll get attached to them while the story unfolds and you fall in love with them along their blooming love.

"He's forced me to learn that love doesn't wait for perfect, it accepts your flaws and molds its own perfect."

With her smooth writing style, the author created a beautiful story full of drama, action, love, friendship, woven in a web of suspense and intense emotions that will capture you right away. Surprising twists and turns will keep your eyes glued to the pages and make this book something special.

"You were her blinding echo. My eyes might have deceived me, but my heart and soul felt you."

Blinding Echo is a thrilling book that will make your blood and emotions boil with excitement. Be prepared for an unconventional love-story, catching you like a deer in the headlights.

"Your heart is one of a kind and it's mine."

This book is a great example of the beauty of indie publishing. We readers have access to new authors and literary gems we likely would never have seen through traditional publishing. Yes, just like in love there are a lot of toads we have to kiss, or read, before we find our handsome prince of a book, but have no doubt, this one absolutely falls in the royal category. The plot is intriguing and unique, and the writing is heart felt and compelling, making this work shine and sparkle in an otherwise amphibian-crowded pond.

Kase and his sweetheart shared their first kiss at age thirteen, dated all through high school and knew they would spend the rest of their lives together. As all too often happens, fate had other plans. While Kase is away at boot camp, his girl has a car accident that results in amnesia, leaving her with no memories of her past, including Kase. Ten years later Kase has retired from active duty, and is working private security. On his first night out with co-workers, his waitress turns out to be his first love.

The early copy I read of this book is my first by this author, and it certainly won't be my last. She’s definitely one to keep an eye on because her passion and conscientiousness come through loud and clear, and I fully expect each new work of hers will be better than the last. Although, having said that, I’m not sure if it’s possible to top this book because it was pretty darn perfect. I connected with these complex and loveable characters early on, and there were many twists, turns and surprises that kept me up all night reading, eager to discover how everything would work out.

I don’t know if the author has plans to make this book into a series, but the secondary characters were so well written, engaging and realistic that they could each have their own book, and I’m really not ready to let them go. While this book has plenty of intensity and drama, it didn’t feel overly angsty, and the adrenalin-fueled emotions are balanced with humor, steam and heart. Between the amazing plot and storyline and the terrific, captivating characters, this book is definitely worth losing sleep over, so grab your copy and ready yourself to fall in love with Kase, his true love, and all of these phenomenal characters.

I don't even know where to start with this book. I feel so privileged to have gotten to read this before release. The bad part, I have to wait for months to force every person I know to READ. THIS. BOOK. Tina has become a master of romantic suspense. This book is in my top reads this year. I was screaming at my Kindle (and Tina) the whole time. I finished this book in less than 24 hours. That's how good it is. I put my writing on hold with a deadline looming just to finish this book. That's how good it is. I refuse to say anything about the plot, because I don't want to ruin it for others...but just keep reading. The twists and turns will have you screaming and crying, but you'll make it through. I promise.

I was completely in awe with this book. I was left with my mouth open with all the twists and turns. I was in over my head and went in blind reading this book. This is my first Tina Saxon book and she completely has left me enamored with her writing.

It's hard to review this book without giving anything away. I feel like if I say too much I'm going to end up divulging and spoiling this for people and I don't want to do that. Everyone needs to read this book going in blind and not knowing absolutely nothing about what the story line is about.

Everyone will just be in complete surprise and shock once they get into the book and are more than half way through the book because the unexpected happens.

This was one thrilling and suspenseful book that will have you sitting at the edge of your seat and will be so in tune with the story that you won't even realize that you've reached the end.

I absolutely loved Blinding Echo and Kase, he was my hero!

The title of this book is perfect!  This story is amazing!  Way to go Ms. Saxon!

This isn't your typical love story.  There is so many blindsides that will throw your heart and mind through the wringer..

This is the story of love in all of it's different facets.  I don't want to say the characters names in my review, because I don't want to take away the experience of reading this for the first time.  Believe me that even though I have just finished it, I will definately be re-reading it.  I know I will learn something new and different.

This story is going to make you laugh, it's going to make you cry and it's going to give you all the feels! I didn't know who to root for....I just wanted everybody to end up happy and Ms. Saxon is able to give the story just that.  It may not be perfect, it may not be what everybody will want to see, but it made the story more real to me.

This story is in the running for my "Fave Reads of 2018".

Do yourself a favor, read this story, go into it with an open mind and heart.  It's gonna make you gasp and make your heartbeat a little different.

Holy smokes. I did not see it coming. The twists and turns just kept popping up. It was written in such a fantastic way that it didn't come across as a "what now" type of thing. The story flowed so nicely and each twist just added more depth and suspense.

I love that Max and his team was in this book as well. I can't wait for twisted wings!

Emotional, unexpected, and downright page turning...

Holy emotional Batcave Batman! This book was freaking awesome. This is my first book by this author and it definitely won’t be my last.
Hot sexy X military, unexpected twists and intrigue, a love of the ages, I mean what else could I ask for?
This book made me fall in love with not only the main characters but also all of the side characters, I’m so keeping my fingers crossed that some of them will get their own book. Hint hint......
Yea if your looking for a romance book that will have you hooked from the first word to the last and give you an amazing story in between then this is definitely a MUST READ!!!!

Blinding Echo was brilliantly written with twists I didn't see coming and a second half that had me gasping for a breath.

This is one of those stories that are almost impossible to review without spoiling the book, I've seen someone comment that the blurb gives too much away, but really that's only the tip of the iceberg as far as this story is concerned.

Kase, our hero, is has dealt with so much in his life that most people will never experience. From a rough life growing up to being a sniper in the military plus so much more. And don't forget about the love of his life having amnesia and forgetting that he exists.

My emotions were all over the map while reading Blinding Echo. I cried, I laughed. My heart heart got quite the workout while reading, it broke, it lept, it soared, it raced. I cannot say enough about this story, it's tantalizing and enthralling. You will be anxious and sick to your stomach.

If you only read one more book for the rest of the year, make it Blinding Echo.

Dang. I can’t say the words o want to so that will have to work. This was a beautiful story, inside and out. We have Kace who is an amazing hero all around. Then we have Ellie. Who is so strong and while she fought the romance once she gave in it was so beautiful. The author really did throw some amazing twists out way. I was like OMG what is happening here. I won’t go into detail because those things made the story what they were. They made the journey totally epic that I can’t help but smile and have tears. I plan to go back and read this authors first series because after this book, she now has a new fan. 5 stars #2OCCJD

O...M...G!!!

This one was a helluva book!!! The story took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I was gripped right from the first page until the last. The blurb at the back of the book and the prologue gave me so much anticipation, it made me think of different possible scenarios for what the statement "Our love story began with boy meets girl. Now... I love two men. He loves two women." means.

I loved how the story was written from different characters' POV. I could totally discern which character's "voice" was speaking on each chapter. Some books with multiple POVs fail to give distinct voices to their different characters, that was why I truly appreciated how Ms Saxon was able to give life to her characters. I could also feel the emotions that the characters were feeling. In fact, I was sooo much into the story that even my breathing patterns altered depending on what was going on in the book. I love when that happens because that means I am truly engrossed with the story. I have not felt this much intensity while reading a book in along time! It made me feel more alive! At times I had to pause in between pages to gather my thoughts and calm the whirlwind of emotions I just experienced while reading a certain paragraph. I could feel my facial expression changing, and I would even make involuntary movements due to so much intense emotions that I felt while reading... and it was so hard to control my reactions while reading in a public setting! Tip: Avoid reading this book where people can see you reacting... you will probably look weird to others who have no idea what you are reading.

There were so many twists in this books. I had my hunches, and some of them were partially correct, but I still got surprised when they were revealed because there were always more to the revelation than I had anticipated. This book had the perfect combination of romance, action, and suspense/mystery for me. I appreciated that the intimate scenes were really hot, but they were not the focal point of the story. I liked that the romance part of the story was built up with the right pacing-- not too fast, but not agonizingly slow. I was also satisfied with the back stories of the characters, and I thought they gave justice to the current personalities and thought processes of each characters.

Overall, I consider this book as one of my favorites. I am so glad I came across this on Amazon. The moment I read the description I was instantly intrigued, and the story did not disappoint. I am very much looking forward to reading more of Tina Saxon's novels.

BTW... the model on the book cover was soooo HOT! I mean... I got happily triggered everytime I picked up this book and stared at the cover guy. FYI, his name was indicated on the copyright portion of the book! :P

I'd like to say this book was a second chance romance, it is but it isn't, the take on this is totally fresh and different, emotionally captivating and beautifully written.
Kase and Everly found Love at a young age, a soul deep love, one that for them was their everything!! Circumstances and a tragedy leaves them split apart and ten years later, with a successful Navy Seal career behind him, Kase still pines for the love he lost.
Again circumstances throw him together with Ellie and he's convinced she's his girl from the past, could it be possible to find your soul mate again? Could he make her fall in love with him again?
I really liked both characters in this book, the chemistry and emotion between both made for a captivating read, whilst at the same time i was always waiting for the bubble to burst !!! Hell yeah it did burst and in a way i never would have expected!!!! My heart was truly in bits and i felt every little shattered piece fall apart !! I love when a book can draw you in this deeply that you feel so caught up in their world you feel you are a part of it ! It's a book you don't want to end !!!

This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and so, so much drama! I can literally almost say nothing about this book because so much happens and I don't want to spoil anything. You think one thing is happening and then all of a sudden a surprise twist pops up and it blew it my mind. I enjoyed listening to this book because I honestly had no idea what was going to come next. There are a few things that I didn't like but I can't tell you because spoilers are no fun. But for the most part, this book was pretty fantastic! I highly recommend if you enjoy angst and plot twists!

I'm not sure where to start with this review. I couldn't stop reading and hoped that Kase and Everly would find their way back to each other. I can't think of anything worse than forgetting your whole life.
I didn't see the twist coming at all, I'm so glad I didn't spoil this book by reading other reviews. This book didn't turn out the way I expected but I still felt like the ending was perfect.

For anyone wanting to read this book, do not read any spoilers beforehand. I don't feel like you would enjoy this story as much if you know what is going to happen. I'd definitely recommend this book.

I absolutely loved this story. For the twist and turns it had it could have been butchered being just 1 novel having it all but it was very well written. Yes, the author could have made it multiple stories but she didn't and she never skipped out on details.

Ellie and Kase their story is so much different than Everly and Kase had. You can feel it on the pages. You can tell she is not Everly and than you fall in love with her when Kase does too.

You just have to read it I don't do spoiler reviews and can't continue without spoilers.

My first Tina Saxton book!

I had the pleasure of meeting Tina Saxton at the Wanderlust Book signing in San Antonio this year.
A friend of mine read this novel before me and I was sold when she would message me venting about her anger. I knew I had to buy it! Thankfully I was able to buy it in person and have Tina sign it herself !
This book is a hell of a roller coaster. The whiplash is unbelievable and keeps you guessing. Just when you think you understand...there is a huge plot twist. Go get yourself a copy of this book!

Wow...just wow! Incredible story!

This book has been on my kindle for a few months and I’m kicking myself for not having read it sooner!

The emotions this story put me through were intense. This was my first book by the author and I am incredibly impressed with her storytelling skills! Without giving anything away, this is one heck of a mind twist and one tightly woven story of incredible depth.

I will definitely read more books by this author.

Finished this book in one day. I never knew where the story was going at any point and that made me not be able to put it down. I love that there is POV from both characters so you know how they feel and what they think, but it still somehow shocks you on the plot twists.
The best advice I saw was go into this blind” and I thought “how? The synopsis gives a lot away already.” I was wrong. Go into it blind, it’s worth it!

The blurb is what caught my attention and wow! This was a different take on second chance romance (which has been my go-to trope).

Ms. Sexton spun an intriguing and soul grabbing tale! Kase, Everly and Ellie were such dynamic characters and the connections that they had were just mind-blowing!

I’m looking forward to more from the author.

HOLY MOLY! How are people not talking about this one? Blinding Echo is full of surprises, twists, & turns.

It's romance, meets drama, with suspense. If you can get past the ridiculous cover (similar to The Mindf*ck Series), you will love it. Also, if you enjoy Lucy Score's "Things We Never Got Over"-- you will loveeee Blinding Echo.
