I read "123 the Farm and Me" and found it to be a very educational counting book. Each page has a number about an ingredient for pizza and along with that it has information about cooking. At the end of the book, a pizza is made. This book's illustrations are informative and fun to look at. I would recommend this book for children who are still learning to count and/or have a passion for cooking. This would be a good read for before lunch because it will make kids hungry and help them understand where their food comes from.

This book requires a lot of focus to continue the numbers sequence while taking deep-dive diversions on the accompanying page. It also wasn't obvious to me that we were building a pizza until the very end. The title could say something about that instead / also.
