Our church went through this book over the past year and it has certainly been a blessing to our family. It is a collection of essays from a variety of writers, from centuries ago to today about topics relating to the family: family worship, manhood, womanhood, motherhood, fatherhood, the relationships between children and their parents, the relationship between children and their siblings, etc. Biblical wisdom especially regarding the importance, duties, and blessings of the family has gone mostly neglected in our mainstream churches today, and we often find men and women unprepared for marriage and ignorant as to what a godly family looks like. These essays help us to regain a biblical perspective and understanding of the family and our responsibilities as members of it. This book has both challenged and encouraged us, and it will be a book I’m sure we will return to in days to come.

Excelente colección de escritos. Me tomó más de un año, pero lo logré y me siento super feliz por haberlo terminado, ya que fue un regalo de cumpleaños. Algunos escritos me gustaron más que otros, pero tiene frases y conceptos muy buenos. Incluso consejos prácticos, está muy completo el libro.
