Even better than the first book in this series!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 🖤💙🩷💚❤️

World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: 🙂🙁😉🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Duet Narration

The Hero: Matthias - he is the brother of Bren from the first book in this series. He was forced into a standard marriage for his people. He is one of seven husbands to the same cruel council woman that Bren was engaged to, Vena Macana. Matthias hates her and was used as a tool against Bren. He was imprisoned to lure Bren to come home, so when mating marks started to appear on his body, and he saw a woman in his daily reflections, he was compelled to go into space to find her.

The Story: Matthias is drawn to the planet his world uses as a prison planet. After sentencing on Quasar, the prisoners are brought to the prison planet. The prisoners have it pretty good inside the dome, where they are protected from predators and can move freely, though if they are banished from the dome, they are in the wild and on their own. The ship that Bren captains and Matthias is on, is dropping off some prisoners, and Matthias somehow knows that his mate is on that planet. After seeing the state of the spaceship she was on, that crashed on the prison planet, Matthias is worried about what he will find.

The heroine: Susan - she and a bunch of girls from her college physics study group were abducted by aliens. She wakes up from a drugged state, tied to a bed, naked, with a huge alien coming at her. Soon she hears a huge roar, and another even bigger alien comes in. Though he is better looking, she is still afraid, as the first guy was evil, she wasn’t sure this one was any better until he cuts her loose and covers her with a blanket. She is sure he is rescuing her when he speaks english.

I like the fact that both main characters had been used and abused by the opposite sex in the past. Though I am not too fond of the fact that the Quasar society is run by women who abuse their authority. I hope after more of the males find their mates and get bigger, they can overthrow the government. I would usually like a matriarchy, but not when the ruling party is evil. The human women and the men on the ship do some pretty good negotiating for some supplies they need from the ruling party.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view and narrated in duet narration by Randi Johnson and Kelsey Navarro. Randi Johnson has a nice voice and is good at using different voices for different characters, though he does sound a bit older than I generally like. Kelsey Navarro has a nice voice that sounds age appropriate for the female main character, and she is very expressive.

Well...

This series just isn't for me. I'm not saying it's bad, I just can't seem to connect deep enough with the characters off the plot.

That doesn't mean you can't. This is just my personal opinion.

Great sequel! I loved how we have a new set of characters entering the story line too. It should be interesting to see how this all develops in the next books.

I received this audiobook at my request exchange for an honest review.

When I reviewed the first book within this series, Bren's Blessing I stated that the second book would determine if the series is worth continuing. I have to say this book did not disappoint. Unlike the first book, which had a lot of adult time within it, this had more of a plot. Yes, there was some adult time, however it was not as rampant as it was in the first.

We start to know more about the history of the Quasars. Up until now we just knew that things were amiss but this book started to show us how things have dramatically change within their society. We still don't know what specifically happened for the females to rule and be bigger than the males but it seems as though we are starting to get some back story.

I also like the fact that both Matthias and Susan have some demons in their closet. The way that it was addressed was kind of a gloss over but at least it was discussed to some extent. I hope that in the upcoming books each of the mates are written with more depth so that we get to see their perspective about their past and how it shapes who they are.

Randi and Kelsey are back with this installment. They did a great job and I am glad they are back narrating book three, Amari's Adored.

This series is an "ok" read for me. I don't love them, but I do enjoy reading it. It's an intriguing idea, but the characters and the writing aren't exactly captivating me. The writing does have some grammatical errors and Tate really gets carried away with exclamation points. lol

This series is more based on "insta-love" kind of relationship. The characters have some kind of hormonal change that makes them physically attracted to each other instantly. And they are very brief, so IMO you don't really have the time to get to know them individually or as a couple to really find yourself absorbed in their romance. In both the first and second book, you skip over two weeks. Honestly, this could be time used to develop the characters or their relationship but it's simply a huge time jump. I'm thinking as this series goes on the reader's attachment to the characters starts to change because the couple from book 1 was featured heavily in this book.

If you want a quick read where the relationship and drama develops just as quickly, this book is for you. Someone looking for something a little bit meatier may find this read lacking. As I said, it's didn't stand out as something spectacular, but I did enjoy the time I spent reading Matthia's Miracle.

Really just a continuation of the previous book. Unfortunately that doesn’t leave much space for character development. Not really necessary with the instalove, I guess. By my count there were at least 16 editing errors. Mostly extra or wrong words. Example effect for affect. Just irritating for so few pages. And much of it - as with the first book - is set up for other stories. Um, please tell this story before moving on to the next one. I felt like a tourist who had a camera strapped to my face. Instead of enjoying the experience in the moment all I have is a scrapbook of limited view photos.

So another 3. Probably won’t read anymore for a while since they are short and sweet but not enough there to warrant the effort for now.

Good hot sexy aliens finding there happy ending

I love a good alien romance tale. Brens story was great . This story is about Brens brother Matthias and Susan . I do find it weird that the alien men have human names . I would also had liked a epilogue after every story . Brens mate is pregnant Hanna so I can't wait for her to have her baby. what will it look like ?

Never doubt....

Matthias once helped his brother with his nemete when he got his mating marks, so now he needs the help of his brother when he gets his mating marks. But first he has to get away from his Ermada Vina. Using Hannah's rank, since females rule on Quasar, they get him transferred to the Discovery to find his mate. They also have some prisoners on board to take to the prison planet. The closer they get to the prison planet the more agitated Matthias becomes. He's one of the first ones off the transport when it lands. Breaking down doors the closer he hones in on his mate. He finds her tied to a bed in the Wardon's office scared n naked. He speaks to her to calm her as he unites her. Though she's still afraid she somehow knows she's being rescued, as Matthias takes off his shirt so she can cover herself. When they return to the transport, she n three other humans r inside. The wardon n several other guards r detained.
Susan is told by Matthias about the mating marks, which she also has, but although she finds him sexy, it wasn't until she talked to Hannah that she began to believe that maybe she's been given a second chance at happiness.
Matthias tells her to never doubt that you're mine. You need to remember if you're taken I'll come for you. If you're sick, I'll care for you, stay by your side. If you leave I will follow.
These words r put to the test as Vina uses her hatred to harm Susan n two of her friends when they r on Quasar.

I liked this story a lot. It was nice getting to check in with Bren and Hannah as well as get a new couple in Matthias and Susan.

Susan is one of eight young women that are abducted by aliens from college, She starts to wake up as she is separated from her friends. The next thing that Susan realizes is that she is now tied to a bed. She fights and fights and then hears a roar of rage. Her rescuer is Matthias and even though he scares her, she realizes that he is trying to help her. He quickly becomes the one person that she wants to hold onto.

Matthias is Bren's brother, so he knows what it means when his mating marks start to show up. He also starts dreaming about his mate and knows that he has to get to her. When he finds her tied to a bed, he wants to hurt those that attacked her, but more importantly, he wants to release her and let her know she doesn't need to be afraid anymore. Matthias is nervous about having a mate because of how he was treated on Quasar.

The way Matthias and Susan become a team and work together is wonderful considering what they had been through. Matthias became so protective of Susan and it was super sweet. I recommend reading this book.

Matthias's Miracle by Pearl Tate

I loved the escapism in this feel good alien romance. The audio version has great dual narration from two POVs that enhances the experience of this story.

This is the second book in the Quasar Lineage. Bren's Blessing sets up the action for this story. When Matthias, Bren's brother, develops faint mating markings on his skin he is allowed 6 month's grace from the bondage of the harem. Quasar is a matriarchal society. Quasar females keep male harems for procreational purpoases. The males need to be stimulated by a drug to perform.

Matthias's miracle is finding his fated mate., Susan. Fated mates were though to be extinct, natural mating having been bred out by genetic manipulation. Matthias is drawn across the galaxy to a prison planet. It is here that he discovers Susan and rescues her from a rapist. Susan and her seven study group friends have been abducted from earth and delivered by an unmanned shuttle that crashed onto the prison planet. There are mysteries to be unravelled and more stories to tell. Definitely for an adult audience that enjoys consensual erotica.

"I’ve never been fortunate enough to have a rescuer before."

We met Bren's brother Matthias in the previous story, and discovered in the final pages of that tale that Bren wasn't the only one with a mate. Matthias is an the awkward position of being able to leave their home world and travel, but not actually plot his own course and search for the one meant for him.

This story furthers the world building in several ways, not only do we visit another planet, but we seem to get some confirmation on why the mate bonds with humans haven't appeared before.

Susan and Matthias have both been burned by the opposite gender, yet instead of refusing to consider the possibilities, and hope, their bond presents, they cautiously, and openly move forward in a manner that shows compassion, not just for each other, but those around them.

I'm enjoying this Kindle Unlimited series, and am curious where the overarching storylines will lead since we have political intrigue and machinations with the council on one hand, and individuals willing to bend the rules and visit Earth on the other.

MATTHIAS'S MIRACLE – A Sci-Fi Alien Romance by Pearl Tate! (The Quasar Lineage Book 2) I would suggest reading Book 1: Bren's Blessing first before this one.

Eight Earth women have been abducted by Aliens from their college. 4 of these 8 women have woken up to find themselves on a prison planet. Seems the men of the planet Quasar have found that they are compatible to mate with the women of Earth. It means they no longer have to be under control of the few women on their home planet. Susan Mast found herself in a horrible situation, but just in time her true mate Matthias Khar senses her distress and rushes to her defense.

“Never doubt that you are mine. If you're taken, I'll come for you. If you are sick. I'll care for you and stay by your side. You never have to fear being without me, because I'll always come after you, should you leave or be taken. Remember this! Can you feel my love and commitment?” He brushes away her tears and rubs his thumb across her lips gently “Can you feel it and know it's true?” Susan feels it alright as she clings to him, like she will never let him go.

Pearl Tate authors this hot and steamy alien romance series. The first three audiobooks of the Quasar Lineage are now available in a boxed set. These books are my guilty pleasure. I enjoy escaping into a world of insta-love, Alien heroes, and happily-ever-afters. The mating marks are a cool touch too!

Matthias’s Miracle is fast-paced and tender. Both Matthias and Susan have had terrible personal experiences that make them fear intimate relationships. Thrown together by destiny, they face their worst fears together. Forced to return to his home planet, Susan must confront his ex-wife to save her friends, but his ex isn’t playing fair. Will this be the end for Susan?

The narrators, Randi Johnson and Kelsey Navarro, do a fantastic job! Having a male and female narrator is just the right touch for this dual POV series.

4.5/5
Told in first person; dual POVs.
Interesting twist on alien-planet-lacks-uterus trope!
Fated mates trope; insta-attraction!
Steamy smex scenes 🌶🌶🌶
Happy ending!
Trigger Warning: mentions of rape
Both the hero(Matthias) and the heroine(Susan) have been through sexual abuse. 😞

Minor other woman drama. No cheating.
- Alien planet is matriarchal. The women are bigger and males are expected to act in a subservient manner towards the women. And the women held all political power and can have multiple husbands.

I like how there’s great communication between the hero and heroine. They’re both grown ass people with wisdom to match and the way they handle their emotions and consider the people around them shows it. ❤️

It’s not easy to talk about past trauma, but they are willing to open up to each other for a happier and better future together.

#RelationshipGoals

Would I re-read? It’s great! But once is enough for me.

I do recommend to read it at least once 😊

This is an easy to read novel which can be read as a stand-alone with a HEA but if you have not read the first then start there and then grab this second book.

This is the second short novel in the series where a technological advanced dying race has inadvertently found that human females are very compatible and true mates! The social set up has females as the dominant sex with men as a subservient sex. Males are intrigued with the idea of being liberated by finding their human true mates and one small group of males have traveled to earth and kidnapped female student.

Very enjoyable. I loved the first and grabbed this as soon as it became available as an ARC.
Grab this and find a space where you will not be interrupted.

In this second book of the Quasar Lineage series we get to know Matthias, Bren's brother, as he searches for his mate across space. He finds Susan in their prision planet about to be raped by the warden. It's then their relationship begins, with the rescue of the distressed damsel.

I found the story a well structured one, with a plot that balanced romance and backstory equally. The moments of tension appeal to your senses, giving you the same exhilarating experience the characters are going through. And lastly, the sex scenes are exuberant, thrilling and filled of tender passion that will make you sigh with fulfillment.

This novel is highly recommended to scifi/alien romance fans and those loving erotic themed books.

This is book 2 of the Quasar Lineage and I absolutely loved it, I thought that the 1st book Bren’s Blessing was fantastic but this one Matthias’s Miracle is way so much better. Susan and other women were studying when the room goes very bright but then they all black out, the women have been abducted by aliens who are very scary but then this other alien ( Matthias ) comes storming in and saves her. Matthias is searching for his mate he has tracked her to this other planet and when he finds out that she has been captured he is beyond furious, there’s nothing like your alien mate finding you all tied up. I loved this story and I can’t wait to read more of this series, a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Headline

I gave this story 4 stars because I believe there Really is a good story to be had here. There is 3 things that need to be were . Way to many sex scenes when the story could be more in-depth. When the author has the characters nod no, um it's nod yes and shake no, and last is the height of the men , it changes from one book to another. For instance Brock the doctor is 8ft tall then he's 7 then he's over 7. Just a few things to change or clear up. There really is a good story that could be great here. But seriously? Salute to the author for writing her story and putting it out there for people to read and review. I'm not that brave people can be pretty harsh unnecessarily. The ones that are harsh? Well you write a book and put it out there to be reviewed.

Exciting

The book starts off filled with excitement as Susan and seven other women are kidnapped from Earth by aliens.
Matthias knows his mate is out in the universe somewhere and is in trouble. When he discovers her on a prison planet about to be raped he goes into protection mode.
There are several problems that ensue following Susan and three of the other women's rescue. Including a sudden trip to planet Quasar where the female lead that had Matthis resides.
I am so glad that the Hannah and Bren from book one are still involved in the story. I look forward to reading the next story!

I received an audio copy of this book in return for an honest review. Here goes:
I liked this story. I got book one and read it, and it made me want to know more of the story. This one was good too. The readers (there is a female reader and a male reader), did a good job with the main characters, and the side characters (and there were many). I wish Matthias had explained more about the relationships/marriages on his home planet. I was interested and wanted more detail. Otherwise, it was a good (not great) romance with a HEA ending that set up future stories in the series.
PS- I don't know why goodreads doesn't have an audio addition of this book listed. I got it off audible.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Obstacles to overcome to reach true bliss

Matthias's Miracle
This was a little bit more serious than the first book. Due to background stories of Susan and Matthias, they had a bit more obstacles to cross. But through it all, they found strength, love and insane attraction in eachother.
I am so excited to see what will become of the other men and women.
I will be rushing to purchase them so I wont have to wait.
I would highly recommend this book and this series.
Happy reading!

Second book in the alien abduction series. Matthias knows all about mates as he has seen his brother fall in love to his human mate. But now the mating marks are showing on him and he knows he needs to hurry and find his mate. The story does talk briefly about the dark past both of the main characters has had but it only brings a better understanding of them and how hard this mating may be for them. But nothing is easy as plenty of action and adventure awaits them. The romance is definitely hot.

This being the second book in this series, everything is still new to the men from Quasar. The women didn't have much of a choice. This is Matthias' and Susan's story. This has the Discovery en route to Quasar and in need of a vaccine. The Council wants two couples to stay and be part of a breeding study and Susan is collecting the medicine and leaving. The Council is not being honest and poses a danger to everyone. Matthias knows something's wrong and goes berserk to find Susan. I love this series.
