Hard Bargain picks up right where Reverse Harem Rockstars left off. Now that Maya's had a taste of all that Foster's band has to offer, she's not sure if she can do without them. And she gets her chance at having them again when she goes on tour with the band. Only, they have to leave Max behind because he's not in a place, career and financial wise where he can take off for the amount of time the tour will take. How will Maya and Foster do without him? How will Max do without his two loves? What's more, how will Maya avoid losing what's left of her heart to Pace? Can she possibly love 3 men at the same time?

I have to say that, while hot, this installment, like the previous installment, does little to add to the ongoing story of Foster, Maya and Max, because it's so freakin' short! I would really prefer to just read one somewhat longish story than have it piecemealed out the way it's been done so far. Doing it this way offers so little character and relationship development that it's not worth it reading each tiny installment. Not sure if I even want to continue now because I'm seriously so annoyed by this format and that this particular installment gave me nothing.

This may have been a short story, but it definitely wasn't lacking in the hot and steamy scenes! I enjoyed reading all about Maya, Max, and Foster and his band mates. Maya was one lucky girl! I hope to read more about them in the future.

I received this ARC via Booksprout and the Author. I am voluntarily leaving this review. This series is very graphic and contains mf, mmf, mmfmmmm, mm+ scenes. If you are easily offended, do not read.

This is a serial book, you do need to start with book 1. (It is free on Amazon) I recommend buying the box set though (volume 1-6) and jump right in. Individually, each book is a fast read.

This is volume 8. Maya continues her relationship with Max and Foster. Their dynamic is going well. Fosters band is about to go on tour and Maya will be joining him and his 4 bandmates. Max unfortunately has to stay behind for work.

While she is sad to leave Max behind, she is excited to travel and have further sexual adventures with the band. Although Maya has some concerns where Pace is involved because she knows he has feelings for her and she doesn't see how having 3 lovers full time can work out.

The author continues to reel the reader in and leaves you wanting more. My only complaint would be I just wish each volume was a little longer. *sigh*

A great continuation to the story. Maya has sampled the goods and cannot and does not want to choose. She gets another chance to be with the band but Max does not get to go on the tour. How will this their dynamics?

Maya is about to go on tour with Foster and his band. But Max can’t come on the tour because of work. So her and Foster spend some quality time with him before taking off. After getting on the tour bus, she plays a game with the guys to see who gets to sleep in the captain’s quarters. But Pace has a different bet in mind…and he wins.

This was okay. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, I preferred this series in the beginning as just a ménage. Now it’s just kind of confusing. She’ll have sex with all the guys in the band but she only feels stronger feelings for Pace (along with Max and Foster). It’s not a traditional RH where she has a connection with each one.

Kind of confused by that. But oh well. It’s still okay.

I also don’t see the point in Max not coming with them. Coming from a writing standpoint, how does that make sense for the relationship development? I don’t get it.

One more of these to go though so I’ll finish, but I still recommend only stories 1-3 (maybe 4 too) and just stop there. It gets confusing at that point.

Hooked on this series! Eagerly waited for this next installment, and it definitely was a one-sit read because I cannot wait to see where the adventure continues!!!

Maya and Foster are headed out on the road and I feel deeply for Max. A portion of me was telling her, “No! Don’t leave him!!!” I know for Maya’s growth and discovery that it has to happen and having to leave Foster or Max, the two men she loves separating for a short time and choosing is an awful decision. I loved everything about the book except two portions (and I hate to love it)...

1) The bet between Pace and Maya. What does Foster think of the bet??? What will Max think when he finds out??? Was she overly cocky (pun intended) and what does this mean for all on tour???

2) How can my addict-inducing author leave me in such a state at the end of this installment?!?! Hooked me and CANNOT WAIT until I know what will happen next.

Another super hot addition to the story. Steam is coming from my device with so many hot males and scenes. I so wish I could read to the end, to know how it ends, but wished there where more pages in each installment to read, because before you know it, you are at the end of an installment and waiting impatiently for the next. Maya lost her heart to another, Pace so now she's in love with 3 hot males, although she won't fully admit to it yet. So sad that Max had to stay behind, I literally could feel his pain driving away.
I can't wait for the next installment....thank you Kat for writing such hot stories!

OMG the continuing story of Maya, Max and Foster has just stepped up a notch in the heat department talk about panty melting. Maya has got it all the men are fallen all over each other to be in her bed, but there's one man missing poor Max had to stay behind for work. I'm still in shock over the ending I can't believe that Maya has made a deal with the devil named Pace. I don't like where my imagination is taking me into the future books with Maya and her posse. Foster better be on guard after all he promised Max he would look after Maya and to keep her safe even if it's from his band mates. Now I'm looking forward to the next book in this adventure.

I have enjoyed this author's erotica in the past, but I have to say that this one just felt flat. There is still some hot sex, but I didn't really feel any emotional connection between Maya and the others. The most heart-felt emotions seemed to come from Max, and the encounter between him and Foster was the best one in this short book. I like erotica and steamy stories, but I need an emotional connection, too, and I just didn't feel that here.

Forest, Max, and Maya are such great characters and the evolution of them as a throuple is wonderful. You could feel Maya’s torn feelings with the decisions she has to make and or made. I am curious if this will eventually turn into a much larger relationship group as the characters evolve and when more people, other than the three of them, get to involved.

Once you read this, you be hooked like me, and can’t wait to read the entire series.

I love the series, it's well written and very, very HOT. However, this volume is a bit disappointing. It keeps reminding us of volume 7 and teases volume 9 but this volume is not as good as the previous ones. The relationship between Maya, Foster and Max doesn't deepen and the tour with the band is... well, not in this volume! So I do want to read volume 9 but volume 8 was not so hot.

If you’ve been reading the series and you’re up to date, the next installment doesn’t dissapoint. We get to see more of only Foster, Max and Maya with the rest of the band thrown in for later. If you thought things were getting messy, this takes the cake; in more ways than one.

Maya loves sex, she loves the band members. Foster and Max are two friends of hers that love Maya and each other. Foster and Maya have to leave to go on tour and Max isn’t going because he has a good job. This book is about Maya and her sexual freedom. This ok is definitely HOT!

Another Great Book

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is a great story and I was hooked from the start. The characters were interesting, engaging and I loved the chemistry and interaction between them. This is an Intriguing, enjoyable, romantic must read book and has a really entertaining, well written storyline,. It definitely pulled me in and I didn’t want to put it down.

While I've been reading this serial from the start, I have to say this installment was a bit of a let down. Lots of lead up but no action. I was geared up for the normal raunch-fest by Kat Crimson, but this one didn't fill the bill. I hope the next one will deliver on the promise this one made.
