Read the next chapter in the upcoming novel, "Untouched"
“The test is to see how he responds to you. Does he ask to meet up with you at a bar or restaurant, or does he simply invite you to his place?”

I look at Gina and take out my cell phone. I scroll down to where his number was on the dialed calls, then press send.
Finally after five rings, his voice mail picks up.

“Hi. You've reached Chad Andrews. I'm probably working out at the gym. Leave me a message and I will get back to you much later.” Beep.
“Chad, it's Kellie, the girl you found irresistible and wanted to meet up the other night. Well, give me a ring and we can hook up. Chow.”

Gina's mouth dropped so far down that I thought drool was going to start pouring out. Finally after Gina caught her breath, she turned to me and said, “You told Chad that you wanted to hook up?”
I looked her right in the eye, smiled and then said, “Well, isn't that what you say when you have sex? You hook up?”
She nodded in agreement.
And that's how the list was started. Chad was my very first contestant.

There’s a lot of say about where I started and how far I have come.

I started in 2008, with a simple dream of starting my own business and being my own boss. So, while I was fortunate to be living out another dream as a teacher, I started to put together a plan to start my writing career. That’s where I originally wanted to be after college- writing about hockey.

Blogging back then was the biggest thing on the Internet. And not only did I enjoy it, I was really good at keeping up with it and getting my voice to be heard. I wrote about lifestyle topics that interested me such as dating, relationships, fashion, style, etc. I thought if I could get noticed this way, I could then quickly shift gears and start writing about sports. Social media was just getting started and I was amazed how by me placing a link for people to click, got them to read my blogs! Long story short, it was cool to have “fans” in other countries reading my blogs because of Twitter and Facebook.

I then started to write for many websites and even got to write a blog as a ghostwriter for a celebrity.

Blogging was awesome, but what was even more amazing was social media. I then immersed myself into learning just how social media worked. I taught myself the ins, outs, ups, and downs of Twitter, Facebook and at that time, Google +. I then joined Pinterest and learned about that platform and was amazed how each platform worked. I then started to come up with a strategy on how I could create a social media company that helped others and businesses alike, benefit from social media.
From developing my social media company I did social media marketing for companies and brands as a 3rd party consultant for a company called Blogher. I got to experience creating campaigns for JcPenney, Toys R Us, American Idol, to name a few. I took my experience from this and transformed it into how I do social media today for clients. (Personal Tip: I also did some social media influencing for brands and learned how the influencer marketing works)

The next thing I my list was to conquer writing books- as I always wanted to be a published author. I learned how to self-publish my books, as my agent I had made me realize this was the best course to take. So far to date I have written 11 books ( 3 of them mini-series) with number 12 due to be released some time in 2021.

Now we are up to where I started my radio show, “The Sassy Show” in 2017. Right in my hometown of Nyack, NY there is an internet radio station called, “Rockland World Radio” and after being recommended from someone to go there, I have blossomed and grown tremendously because of Rockland World Radio and even have a podcast that has branched out from the show called, “Sassy Nation” Both shows talk about social media, give tips on the platforms, stories trending on the platforms and sports. This is where I was able to branch out in the area of sports, by focusing on the lack of social media education professional athletes seem to show by what they post and also talk about how the athletes can grow their brands. It's now an award winning podcast called, "The recordings of a fangirl #Sarcasm"

As my brand was growing I also started to coach and choreograph cheerleading again. (Personal Tip: I have also coached basketball as well) I started my love for cheerleading back in the late 90s and have never looked back! I am STILL in the cheer industry.

The next thing on my plate was to do something that I have also always wanted to do, and that was create my own fashion line. I wanted it to be simple and I wanted it to represent the type of clothing I love. I developed Sassy Style Brand during the pandemic and found a a company that can produce the pieces and ship them directly to the customer. Why wear something that may look good but doesn’t make YOU feel good?
