Jax has made mistakes in his life, the biggest of which was falling for Lyndon. His love died when Lyndon refused to claim him as his mate after Jax discovered he was pregnant. His feelings turned to hate when his babies were stolen from his care the day they were born.

Reliant on Lyndon for the cream he needs to survive, Jax does everything he can to keep him happy and he lives for the day when he will be reunited with his children.

When Jax discovers he is pregnant for a second time, he is terrified his second litter will be taken from him, too.

Ty is a dual-gendered feline who dreams of carrying his own babies one day. If they are fathered by Cal, the sexy feline he feeds from, it would be even better. Ty’s parents have other ideas. They don’t wish the public to know that their high-born son is dual-gendered, and arrange for a mating festival to take place so Ty can choose a dual-gendered mate of his own.

Although Ty has no intention of submitting to his parents’ wishes, something about Jax draws Ty to him and when he and Cal discover Jax’s secret, they know they must help.

Ty and Cal offer Jax a way to escape Lyndon’s clutches, but Jax knows almost nothing about the two felines who have offered to claim him.

The stakes have never been higher and Jax must learn to trust again, or risk losing everything.

Note: This book contains non-graphic dub-con and brief attempted assault between one main character and a secondary character that some readers may find upsetting.

I live in England, in a quaint little village that time doesn't seem to have touched. No, wait a minute- that's the retirement biography. Right now I am in England in a medium sized town that no one has ever heard of, so I won't bore you with the details. Keeping me company are numerous sexy men. I just wish that they weren't all inside my head.

Please note, L.M. Brown is no longer active on Goodreads. Although she does occasionally check in to comment on another's blog the visits are few and far between.

Very porny. lol The cat like aliens live on "cream" so there is that.

The world building is uneven. Makes sense is some places and not in others.

The reasoning of the elders in this book don't make sense nor really does what the villain does and there is sexual violence but at least its not sexualize.

I read it all. I enjoyed the sweet moments and all the babies.

Dnf... this is basically just that bit of plot in every porn video.. ._. If you're looking for an epic fantasy adventure this is not it. But if you're looking for some furry erotic romance then by all means grab this one xD

Did not like as much as the first. I skimmed most of the sex, and thought a lot of the drama that should have been defining was minimized to the back ground...

Loved it!!!

This is my first book by L.M. Brown and my first feline more book but it won't be the last for either of them. I loved the chemistry between Jax, Ty, and Cal. And I loved that they survived on the cream that is produced from an orgasm.

Well, this was different. Like, really, really, not at all what I was expecting, kind of different. I was thinking shifters, love triangle, mpreg, etc…yes, we get some of that but it was a lot more. The felines are not shifters, they are …I don’t know, really, as I had a hard time visualizing…maybe, upright humanoid cats? They had some fur, pointy ears, and a tail, but they also had claws and could purr. I admit it took me aback trying to figure out the logistics, but I settled on humanoid with kitty attributes.

There was also the underlying phobias attached to being sexually different. In this case, dual-gendered cats were frowned upon, especially Ty because he was a high-royal and high royals are not dual-gendered, and if they are they are hidden from society. Ty’s mother was more about what others think than how her son felt. Fortunately, his dad was a stand up guy, err, kitty.

Cal was Ty’s “primary food source”, yeah, we will get to that in a moment. Cal, was a servant to Ty but there was some love that translated to forever between them, and though Ty had to find a royal mate, it didn’t mean he had to give up Cal. Fortunately, Cal is pretty amazing and there really wasn’t any angst over Ty mating with Jax…as long as they all mated with each other. Read it, it makes more sense in the book.

And then there is Jax. Jax was heartbreaking. His servant and primary food source was Lyndon…a psychopath, and his uncle was a pig. I think they both were rewarded for bad behavior and the ending kind of took the wind out of my sails because I really was looking forward to them getting their just desserts…that never really happened.

So, as I mentioned above, food sources. Kitties love cream, right? Well, in this case, the food they eat comes from, you guessed it, the penis. Are you hungry? Do you want a snack? OMG, that took a bit for me to accept, but it was funny, and truly made this more an erotica versus a romance.

Overall Impression: I Really Liked it

Very disappointing

I have to say that I really kind of hated this book. MPreg sci-fi is generally like catnip for me, but this was horrible.

How could a space-faring, interplanetary society have no ability to perform a simple paternity test? If there were all these rumors floating around about how unsavory Orin was, why wouldn't Ty's father entertain that he might have an unsavory employee? How were any of Landyn's threats at all tenable when he had hard evidence against him of a crime that guaranteed prison, if not worse? No one had to give him anything, they just had to turn him into the authorities and he wouldn't have been able to do anything with any children. They all gave him power that it just made no sense for him to have - especially since, with their evidence, Ty's parents would have been much more likely to alter the police before they ever left the palace.

And then there was the whole dual-gendered thing. This isn't MPreg, it could be argued that this falls under the LGBTQA umbrella, but only because of the intersex aspect to Jax and Ty, otherwise this book was full of straight sex that somehow was supposed to be M/M/M even though there were two vaginas involved. Frankly, this was a bit offensive that it was billed as featuring gay characters.

I really liked this one although I loved the 1st a lot better. I haven’t read very many MM or MMM paranormal alien romances because I haven’t found many that sound good to me, but then I found this series and this is by far my favorite alien sci-fi series I have ever read. The reason I gave this 4 stars and why I loved the 1st book “Loving Kit” better is because out of all the sci-fi books I’ve read they have all had some part of human life in it. I guess I just couldn’t feel very connected to this book because anything having to do with humans had nothing to do with this and I just could get a connection to anything. In “Loving Kit” one of the MC’s is a human so it was very easy for me to connect to something even while it’s a sci-fi book. This just had nothing for me to feel connected too. Although I still really liked this book I loved “Loving Kit” more and that will probably remain my favorite.

I enjoyed some parts a lot, but unfortunately the better part was a bit tedious.

Everything was a bit over the top, from Ty and Cal immediately claiming Jax to how much power Lyndon had. The horrible uncle was just a bit much too as was the inconsistencies of such advanced societies not having such things as paternity tests or where a rapist could gain land instead of being arrested. That was actually the last straw. The one thing that got me through the story was me wanting Landon to get what was coming to him.

Different

I liked the unique world building of different species and how they were a mixture of cat and human. I didn't like that Lyndon was given so much power to hurt Jax. It seems as if he was rewarded for the things he did. He was a villain and should have been banished! I also hated the way Jax was skit shamed so much and nobody believed him. His uncle was horrible. Anywhoo, I would like to read other works from this author cause I really enjoyed the story!

Book number two of this wonderful Feline series and this one was better than the last. I loved Jax, Ty, and Cal together. Ty and Cal instantly wanted to help Jax, not judging him on his poor choices. The author did a magnificent job in worldbuilding and keeping me entertained, with plenty of twists I didn't see coming.

I'm excited to read book three!

As a momma this one was heart-wrenching, but I did enjoy it! Talk about amazing world building and character development. I'm digging this series, and kinda bummed there's only one left..
