Fiona Burelli came from an elite lifestyle, never having consequences for anything she has done in life, just living off daddy's money and big name. When daddy gets into trouble, Fi is sent to live with her "aunt" where her entire world is turned upside down in the blink of an eye.
Aunt Mary requires everything of this socialite that were the nightmares of her life...work, a cold shower, and NO COFFEE (seriously, how can ANYONE live without coffee?!). Getting up at sunrise to clean her run down shop has shown Fi exactly what she doesn't want in life...working for anything is a waste of time...or is it?
Stumbling upon a dusty bottle, Fi finds that the world indeed does not revolve around her, and she isn't the center of everything. Callum, an absolutely to die for purple genie, pops out and shows Fi exactly what she has been missing in her life: structure, discipline, attention, and love. But of course, Fi has many bumps and twists and turns in the road that she encounters as she begins the life that seems to now be her normal.
From the very beginning of this read to the absolute end, I was completely hooked. Allysa Hart always has a way to make me cry with her amazingly plotted out books; but this one took it to whole other level. This gut wrenching read will keep you on your toes, wishing that Callum is real (and was yours!), all the while throwing in twists you never expected. The transformation all the characters in this story complete lays the groundwork for an amazing series and is definitely one I won't want to miss!

⤷ this is book 5 of 77 books i have downloaded for free on amazon kindle, so it may be time to finally go through them all. oh god, wish me luck.
if i could give this 0 stars, i would. genuinely, i wanted to DNF a billion times, and this book doesn't even have that many pages. i genuinely hated it.
the MC is just plain annoying, dumb, luckluster, stupid, stubborn, spoiled, whiny, idiotic, and -- have i mentioned stupid already? callum is a freaking weirdo, trying to heal mental issues like daddy issues with some weird ass spanking method because he thinks he has got the "authority" to discipline her. meanwhile, they fall in love within 2 seconds of knowing each other, and just everything about it is YUCK. i will never, ever continue this. i think that was literally a waste of my time. holy. i feel a little bad, because again, it is somebody's work, but this was literally- like, no.
not ever in my life again.

Insta what? No clue. We have insta love, insta attraction, insta Stockholm syndrome… the story is about a girl who is 23 but acts like she is 16 and her genie that spanks her when she is good and when she misbehaves, with little to zero after care. It’s either that or kept in the corner for time out. Then we have little to no plot. She finds out her mother is alive but dying. Her father has some criminal charges he dodged. She has an inheritance she gets in a two week time frame. At the end of the story she is a multimillionaire. The only lesson she learns is to not swear. Then we have this whole brain scrub indoctrination where she believes she must always obey her boyfriend, no matter what. Her mother has a dying wish, so she grants it despite him not wanting her to do it, then he doesn’t listen to her and spanks her for it. Even her mother is all he is right. You were wrong to give me my last wish. You should always obey him. There is ZERO give and take or listening in this relationship. This is NOT an example of a healthy relationship. And don’t get me started on all the punctuation errors. There was one on almost every other page. The author is especially coma and apostrophe happy, placing them in random places. There are also quite a few times where there is a missing word, so a sentence doesn’t always make sense.

Wow, this book was AWESOMESAUCE! I love magical stories and this one delivers! There were so many laugh-out-loud moments and I loved how her second wish got interpreted! The story also had some really sad moments, and I found myself crying more than once. The characters were complex and mesmerizing, the story was full of twists and turns, and Callum is one HOT genie. If I ever find an unusual looking container I hope it has a giant purple genie in it! -- Katie Douglas.

I'll give it closer to a 3✨️ For laughs (2.8 ✨️)
This was easily one of those *turn off brain and enjoy* books. The writing style had me laughing.
The MC had a bit of growth but overall still meh.
The "Daddy" got to be a bit ridiculous at times and I'm peeved over the lack of safe words but it is what it is.
It did have some bittersweet and emotional moments, and a happy ending.
I'd recommend to anyone looking for an easy read that doesn't require much focus.

I read this book within the span of a few hours because I couldn't seem to put it down. This is a short, sweet, and sexy read. I connected with the characters and loved the plot. This is the first story I've read that had a genie in the mix. I loved the way this Author threw in being a possible soulmate. It definitely grasped my attention. I look forward to reading more from this Author. (ARC)

This book is amazing!!It wasn't what I was expecting at first which was great because it was a great surprise to read the story and find out exactly what it was about.
I loved Fiona's character. She starts off as a spoiled, rich girl until she gets into trouble and her rich dad sends her away to live with her Aunt Mary who she barely knows.
Mary tries to instil some discipline into Fiona by putting her to work doing chores around the apartment and helping to clean the Antique shop Mary owns. Fiona hates it as she has never done this much hard work in her life, she is counting down the days until her 23rd birthday so she can leave this place and live off her trust fund money.
What happens next in this amazing, hard to put down story sets the scene for a roller coaster ride and big changes in the life of Fiona.
Fiona stumbles across a hidden room full of old, dusty bottles filled with strange liquids. She accidentally knocks a bottle off the shelf while trying to find the light switch and all of a sudden the room is engulfed in a strange purple smoke. Next thing Fiona knows a purple, sexy as hell figure appears before her.....Meet Callum the genie to make all her wishes come true (in more ways than one!!)
Fiona begins to walk a path of self-discovery, discipline, love and finds out who she really is!
This story, even though short, packed in a lot of emotion, humour, sex and adventure. Fiona goes from spoilt brat to a caring and compassionate young woman who is coming to realise that there is more to life than money and material possessions. I felt sorry for Fiona when she finally found out the truth about Mary and having to deal with those emotions for Mary to then die and leave Fiona devastated. She leans on Callum more and more and soon she falls in love with him. She then questions how their relationship will work when he is not human. She has to put all her trust in the fact that Callum believes that once she makes her 3rd wish they can be together for eternity. Fiona battles with herself constantly, not wanting to use the 3rd wish in case she loses Callum forever which she just cannot risk!
I cried, laughed, got frustrated at Fiona at times and loved each and every twist and turn this story took me on.
I'm so happy with how the book ended and I hope Allysa Hart has more up her sleeve in the continuation of Callum's story. Callum is the ultimate Alpha male who loves to be dominant and show who is the boss. He is exactly what Fiona needs in her life.
This story was a great treat and surprised me a great deal along the way. Love, love, love it!!
Allysa Hart is one talented writer who really knows how to get her readers hooked.

This could have been a lot of fun but there were too many issues to keep me interested.
The grammatical errors were everywhere. The written tense jumped between two different ones. Genies dialogue literally felt like a sentence was written then “right click - see synonyms” was used. FMC was a twat. Daddy kink does not mean Daddy issues, and that’s how it was portrayed here.
Sigh. I don’t know what I was expecting 😂

THIS IS YOUR HAPPY
Once again, Allysa Hart has created a very emotional story that included a fantasy of having a genie and being granted the magical three wishes. While this series is Fantastical Daddy Doms, I would not consider it an actually age-play story line, but more speech and behavior. The story has three main characters with a few secondary ones. It allows the reader to experience an emotional roller coaster ride with all the twists and turns of real life situations infused with mythical fantasies of having a genie to grant the wishes.
Fiona Burelli is almost twenty-three years old, a spoiled brat, and used to getting her own way. Being the daughter of the governor has its perks of political clout. Being the only child and daughter of Vincent Burelli also has its downside of no real love or affection. When her father is arrested and incarcerated, she will find herself in need of a place to stay, and only one person to offer help, Mary, who she was told was her Aunt but has rarely ever seen before. And thus begins this tale of shock, angst, anger, deceit, discovery, forgiveness, redemption, and new beginnings as Fi.
The plot will have Fiona going to a small town to stay with Mary, who owns a dilapidated business that is an antique junk store. She will put Fi to work cleaning and not allow her to slack on her responsibilities. You don’t work; you don’t eat mentality will give Fi a new lease on the reality of how the world works. While cleaning and trying to find a broom, she will find a secret room full of bottles and when she rubs the label on one will bring forth a purple mist with a genie named Callum.
“You, little girl, need a daddy.”
The story will have Fi and Mary reconnecting and learning secrets of her past. Callum will help her with her behavior, attitude, and potty mouth by administering plenty of over-the-knee discipline. He also shows her what true love feels like. “Consider me the only applicant, because no one touches what’s mine. And you are most definitely mine.”

Once again, Allysa Hart has created a very emotional story that included a fantasy of having a genie and being granted the magical three wishes. While this series is Fantastical Daddy Doms, I would not consider it an actually age-play story line, but more speech and behavior. The story has three main characters with a few secondary ones. It allows the reader to experience an emotional roller coaster ride with all the twists and turns of real life situations infused with mythical fantasies of having a genie to grant the wishes.
Fiona Burelli is almost twenty-three years old, a spoiled brat, and used to getting her own way. Being the daughter of the governor has its perks of political clout. Being the only child and daughter of Vincent Burelli also has its downside of no real love or affection. When her father is arrested and incarcerated, she will find herself in need of a place to stay, and only one person to offer help, Mary, who she was told was her Aunt but has rarely ever seen before. And thus begins this tale of shock, angst, anger, deceit, discovery, forgiveness, redemption, and new beginnings as Fi.
The plot will have Fiona going to a small town to stay with Mary, who owns a dilapidated business that is an antique junk store. She will put Fi to work cleaning and not allow her to slack on her responsibilities. You don’t work; you don’t eat mentality will give Fi a new lease on the reality of how the world works. While cleaning and trying to find a broom, she will find a secret room full of bottles and when she rubs the label on one will bring forth a purple mist with a genie named Callum.

The story will have Fi and Mary reconnecting and learning secrets of her past. Callum will help her with her behavior, attitude, and potty mouth by administering plenty of over-the-knee discipline. He also shows her what true love feels like. “Consider me the only applicant, because no one touches what’s mine. And you are most definitely mine.”

Although I have been stalking Ally Hart for a while now, this is my first time writing a review for one of her books. I personally think I picked the perfect one to start with! This is not my favorite sub-genre to write about but this one caught me by surprise. I love the way Hart took this and made it her own, but also stuck with the basics of the Dd/Lg platform. This was an emotional story that tugs at your heart-strings but is also able to grant you your fantasy of having every wish you ever desired.
A Well Placed Wish is a story about a spoiled rotten heiress Fiona who loses everything and is sent to live with her Aunt Mary who she barley knew. Her world is turned upside down in a matter of minutes. She must now fend for herself, earn her keep by helping Mary clean her antique shop, and to make matters worse there is NO caffeine! One day during one of Fiona's many temper tantrums she comes across a small room with a strange bottle, upon closer inspection she gets the shock of her life when Callum appears from inside. Callum is the genie that has served her family for year. He appears when his charges need him, but most importantly he makes sure they are taught the hard lessons they deserve. Unlike his other charges Fiona is something special to Callum, she is to be his one and only true love to release him from his life of solitude. The only question that remains is, is Fiona strong enough to believe in their love to make her final wish so they can be together forever.
Hart does an amazing job of writing a hot and steamy story of a dominate genie. We are all sure of Fiona's need to be taught a lesson and Callum is just the genie to do it. Not only is he exactly what Fiona needs in her life, but it seems that Fiona is everything that Callum has been looking for. This unlikely pair is the key to each others happiness in more way than one. Callum teaches Fiona how to grow up and rely on herself more than she ever has and Fiona shows Callum that even though he has lived a life of solitude it is alright to love someone so unconditionally without reservation. Hart writes us a story with great characters that grow throughout the story, but let us not forget about the hot and steamy bits in the middle.
You would never think of a genie being the dominate one in a relationship, but after reading this story I could not imagine it any other way. From the very beginning of this read to the absolute end, I was completely hooked. Allysa Hart always has a way to make me cry with her amazingly plotted out books; but this one took it to whole other level. This gut wrenching read will keep you on your toes, wishing that Callum is real (and was yours!), all the while throwing in twists you never expected. The transformation all the characters in this story complete lays the groundwork for an amazing series and is definitely one I won’t want to miss!

As much as I loved the IDEA of this book it left me frustrated,not in a good way.
SPOILERS AFTER THIS :
First, the mfc is the spoiled daughter of a criminal governor financially. He neglects her though which gives her that I do what I want daddy issues. She has an annoying personality to me. Dad dearest gets framed and his money gets locked away. She only cares because of the money,granted that's fair. She has 2 weeks til her birthday to get her inheritance, until then she moves in with her aunt. Her aunt owns a shop and needs help. Rich girl becomes Cinderella moment. She find a bottle that has a genie in it. Now this could have been excellent. Their attraction was insat,fine not always my fav but I cab get past that.what I can't get past is only a couple times is their aftercare,if you wanna call it that. He does not but spank her for foul language over and over. She finds out aunt is actually her mom and she is dying. She gets her money and asks her what her dying wish it, she does it but he doesn't approve. She is punished unjustly because she wanted to support her mother in her dying wish and he said no. It could've been sooooo good. But it was lacking for me so much. Needs more plot more background. I'm comparing it is early 2000's wattpad. If I read it back then younger me would've liked it. Now me no thank you.

This book was bit different than my usual reads. I felt like something was missing but I'm not sure what.
Fiona was raised to be a spoiled brat and it shows in everything she does and says. I really didn't like her at all.
When she is forced to go live with Mary her disrespect and just how spoiled she's really been shows through. I really just wanted to tell her to grow up. I had no sympathy at all for her.
I thought Mary was a lil harsh at first, but it turned out to be for Fionas own good. Her kindness shows through in ways Fiona isn't used to.
As for Callum, it was interesting reading about a genie whose purpose is to protect and guide the person who finds them. I'm still not really sure how I feel about the whole genie thing.
I really started to feel for Fiona once she started to let her anger out and really got a feel for the girl hidden under it all.
The twist in the story about Mary was one I didn't expect. Parts of it had me wanting to cry. My heart broke for her and Fiona.
I loved that Callum was there for her in whatever way needed every step of way, even when she didn't want certain things.
So what happens when the third wish is made? You have to read to find out.

From a family of old dirty money that came from drug smuggling, flesh peddling, and any other criminal enterprise readily found, she was the daughter of the governor and he owned the city. Spoiled rotten and used to getting her way or having daddy fix everything gave her a sense of entitlement towards the Burelli name. Except when she was arrested a mere two weeks before she could receive her trust fund and leave it all behind. No money and nowhere else for Fiona to live, she was sent to her aunt's until she turned twenty-three. And then everything changed when she met Callum.
I've not read any of the works from Allysa Hart so when I started reading this, I immediately thought this is a HOT, sexy version of Aesop's fables. You know, where there's an intriguing story with a moral to it. And that's exactly what I received. Good vs. Evil, Love vs. Hate, Trust vs. Fear. Nothing too extraordinarily heavy and all told with a twist of kink. If this is a representation of what the remainder of the stories have to offer, I'm all in.

I absolutely loved this story of Fiona, who was a spoiled, brat, who thought that because she was rich that she could get away with anything and almost did. I laughed, and I cried throughout this story, and I highly recommend it for those who enjoy this kind of storyline. Fiona find herself living at her aunts place where she is pennyless and forced to work for a living. But only until her trust fund comes through in two weeks on her 23rd birthday. Fiona discovers a genie in a bottle whose name is Callum Graham. She learns that all her actions come with consequences, and Callum is going to teach her. She learns to work with her aunt and discovers a surprise about her background. Fiona learns love and compassion, as well as good hard work and falls in love with her genie. But tragedy happens, and she feels left alone, and a drift in the world. Eventually, she finds her happily ever after, but after suffering, a great loss.

Spoiled Fiona lost everything when her rich daddy was incarcerated. The only person she could turn to was her Aunt Mary. Fiona thought her aunt was tough on her, but in reality Fiona's aunt wanted her to learn to be responsible and held accountable for her actions. Fiona was forced to clean her Aunt's antique shop as well as the apartment. Even though she displayed many temper tantrums, they were to no avail.
When Fiona knocked over some bottles, a purple mist was floating and a dominate genie appeared.
Callum had to take matters into his own hands, more than once when Fiona started her temper tantrums. He did not hesitate to bend her over his knee. Callum granted Fiona three wishes. There was a strong chemistry between them. Will Fiona use her last wish to be with Callum or will they be frivolous as the first two?
I loved the author's creativity of a dominate dom. Enjoyed the humour and Fiona's sassy foul mouth. A must read

This is a lovely redemption story.

I love the way this story is written, the character detail and depth of the plot.
Plenty of twists and turns keep the story engaging. The tale is fast-paced and concentrates on the key relationships.
I enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it and the author.

What a creative book! Ms. Hart gives us a caring, dominant, spanking daddy genie. What more could anyone want? Well, Fiona wants her way. She wants out of her run-down aunt's house. She wants to live in the city. And she certainly doesn't want a bossy genie, or does she? O.M.G. Who wouldn't want sexy Genie Callum? This was a great story. It also had what appears to be Ms. Hart's signature in her books- characters who face hardship and find a way through it to the other side. An excellent 5 star read!

This book was way way different in some ways than Alyssa's other books. It still brings in some age play but not as much as the 1st two. But this one was more on the other realm. This book has me torn. I love fantasy books and this one was fantasy but I've never read a book that was age play and this type of fantasy. The writing was amazing and the story line flowed wonderfully. I love all the different books this author writes and she doesn't let us down in the book! Can't wait to see what Alyssa writes next!!

I really wanted to like this book, and honestly, the story might be good, but I couldn't get past the grammatical issues that are plagued throughout the story. Ever other line has an issue that interrupts the flow for me. I liked the genie/daddy storyline idea. Yes, the female lead is a spoiled brat but needed to be so the genie could do what he needed as far as the dd/lg relationship. This story is not highly sexual but doesn't need to be either.
I just wish I could have read a cleaner copy.

It’s a cute quick read. Fiona Burelli was a girl who had everything except for a Father that really cared about her. Instead of showing her love, he gave her material things & got her out of every jam she found herself in from bad judgement. When things went south for her father no one came to her aid to help her, only her aunt who she hasn’t seen since she was very little & her father refused to ever visit. When Fiona arrives in the small town where her aunt lives & she realizes she’s not in Kansas anymore lol. She uncovers do many secrets & finds a Daddy in the most unexpected place.

This is a sweet book with an unusual premise, not the genie part but the relationship part. This is also a quasi morality tale but told in a charming, funny and rather sad way. It is not preachy by any stretch of the imagination but it is a cautionary tale and I loved it. Callum is the perfect genie but also a Daddy genie he takes Fiona in hand and she finds out she loves it. Mary is a special character and although it is sad she does get to play an important part in Fiona’s transformation. A fast read for an afternoon of enjoyment, I highly recommend.

I liked the DD/lg twist on the usual Genie and three wishes story. I must admit I really didn't like Fiona much, especially since she started out the story as a bit of a brat. But once we got into it and I figured out all her issues, she was a bit more likable. Callum the genie was enjoyable. I wished the author had done a little more to explain how their relationship was different than all the other women in her family that he had daddied. Good twist on the third wish releasing him and good HEA.

Three wishes for Daddy
What a fantastic book which I would heartily recommend. Has a bit of kink but all in all brilliant story. What happens when the truth isn't what it appears to be and all your life the mom you thought had died is alive. If that doesn't beat all you are cleaning something and a genie appears, a very bossy daddy Dom one. Read and be amazed at this unusual love story with a twist.
What a fantastic book which I would heartily recommend. Has a bit of kink but all in all brilliant story. What happens when the truth isn't what it appears to be and all your life the mom you thought had died is alive. If that doesn't beat all you are cleaning something and a genie appears, a very bossy daddy Dom one. Read and be amazed at this unusual love story with a twist.
