The Volkov name is one I longed for.
Their household is one I grew up in, but not as an equal—as a maid’s son.
This didn’t stop me from becoming a man to be reckoned with.
But even with my rightful name finally given to me, I still feel adrift.
Until her.

Everything I did was for acceptance.
Everything I lost brought me to my family.
To this life.
To her.

I fought for my status.
I fought for my sisters.
And I will fight to the death for my angel.

She has shown me there is light in our pitch-black world.
That the stars can’t shine without the darkness of night.
She is the stars, and I am the sky in which she shines.

There is evil lurking in the shadows we create.
The corruption and depravities of the First Families have become toxic and are infecting us all from within.
Games have been played, and now, they must end.

I am Vas.
Vocal. Voracious. Vindictive. Volkov.
A devil in love with an angel, and together, we’re going to rule Hell on Earth.

Vas is the third book in the V Games series by K Webster and Ker Dukey, and I just became aware that it's also the last. I've loved all the previous installments and the Pretty Little Dolls series as well, so I'm really sad to see this story come to end. Over the course of these novels, we've been introduced to many incredible characters. They're vicious, vengeful, violent, and villainous, and I love each and every one of them!

ety

This book centers around the characters of Vas and Darya, but we also get to spend time with all the other characters we know and love. We're afforded glimpses into each of their lives and even get a brand new addition to the family. This book more than any of the others really showcases how interconnected these families are and how important they are to each other. It also further emphasizes the toxicity of the older generation and how the new one is correcting some of their mistakes.

u...you9

Darya is a victim of the messed up world of the First Families. She's been living at the Vasilev mansion serving as a sex slave to Vlad's father, Yuri, until her parentage suddenly comes into question. From there her life changes in ways she never could have imagined.

1484801577_giphy

Vas is the bastard son of Leonid Volkov, the product of an affair with his maid. Because of that, he didn't grow up with the same privileges as his sisters, Diana and Irina. He had to literally fight his way into a position of power and respect.

68747470733a2f2f36362e6d656469612e74756d626c722e636f6d2f39366236336230343332343430323532373739636338323135323531333931632f74756d626c725f696e6c696e655f6f34617a7030694d6c6a317361336663785f3530302e676966

Since Vas' speciality is kicking ass, Vlad calls on him when he needs someone to train a fighter for the V games. The job requires some travel, and Vas brings Darya along with him to keep her safe from Yuri until her DNA test results are confirmed. That's not the only reason he wants her to tag along though.

wkei

Vas has had a thing for Darya since the moment he laid eyes on her, but there was never anything he could do about it. Now for the first time, he's in a position to protect her and maybe even make her his, and he's not going to let anything stand in his way.
EzJqX6

I'm a sucker for a bad boy with a good heart, and that's exactly what Vas is. He's the sweetheart of the bunch, and I love him for it. Despite all the fucked up shit he's seen, done, and experienced, he still maintains some sense of right and wrong and has more compassion than any other male character in the series. Darya seems to soften him even more while simultaneously bringing out his alpha in full force. Basically, he's a sexy badass with big heart, and I don't know how anyone could not fall in love with him.

tumblr_inline_o3kxmv8kJj1rnuhk7_500

Vas was a satisfying conclusion to an awesome series! That being said, I feel like there is still more story here, so I would love for the authors to revisit some of these characters in the future. If they could merge Benny and friends in with these characters, that would be even better!

skwi

If you've loved the rest of the books in this series, don't hesitate to pick up this one. I recommend the V Games series and the Pretty Little Dolls series to any fan of dark romance. In my opinion, K Webster and Ker Dukey are queens of the dark, twisted, and fucked up. Nobody can write dark like these two. They are an absolute dream team! I'll read anything they write, and I think you should, too!

Genre: Dark Romance
Type: Book 3 of The V Games series
POV: First Person - Dual
Rating:

Vas Volkov had a revered last name as one of the First Family but his rise to the top wasn’t an entitlement. He worked hard right from the bottom to finally earned the name. But his place in the family might be in jeopardy when he decided to pursue the tempting but forbidden fruit, Darya.

I can’t be everyone’s motherfucking knight in shining armor. I’m not a knight. I’m not made of shiny silver and bravery. I’m tarnished and deceptive. I slither through the weeds of this world seeking my own apple to sink my teeth into.

Out of all three couples in this series, Vas and Darya was definitely my favorite. Unlike the rest of the characters in the series, they came from a humble background, making them see the world differently and driven by different motivations.

I understand he’s exaggerating, but I love the power surging through me. That little ol’ me can bring a man like Vas to his knees.

I liked the overall storyline. There were a lot of things going on but the main couple never lost their spotlight. The revelations were interesting but towards the end the drama was a little bit like a soap opera.

Vas is a story of finding one's place in the world. It would appeal to fans of the ruthless world of mafia dark romance.

Note:
I don’t know if the authors have more books coming or another spinoff but I feel the ending opened up possibilities of future stories. And I want to know about a character who has been one of my favorite but cut off too easily in this book.

Vas Volkov is the son of a caring woman but her station as a maid deemed that Vas wouldn’t be fully accepted into the first family. Without wealth or prestige, Vas was raised differently and learned to work hard. Creating a niche where he can succeed, Vas is worthy of more and isn’t afraid to protect those who need it.

“I want to be her not-so-shiny knight in armor fighting her battles and winning her heart.”

Darya was raised in a convent and is quite sheltered until being thrust into the devil’s den. With her position as a sexual servant to the Vasiliev patriarch, she must endure his wrath. Without an ally, Darya tries to do what she can to survive.

“Sometimes a man’s weakness can be molded into his greatest strength.”

Told in dual POV, the pace moves quickly and spans some time which allows for the characters and the plot to grow. With these families, there are many secrets and there is no shortage of reveals in this installment. Coupled with the pending V Games, Vas and Darya must navigate through all the greed and treachery, but there are also steamy moments.

“Wet skin against wet skin, he thrusts into me. His back covers mine, the palms of his hand skating over my wrists, lifting them above my head, then curling his fingers with mine, entwining us to each other.”

Since this series began, I’ve been curious about Vas and he is definitely my favorite. Due to his background, he is compassionate and doesn’t have a sense of entitlement. As a couple, Vas and Darya make a good pair and have a loving bond. Additionally, the inclusion of secondary characters such as Alyona, Rodion and Zahkar infused humor, camaraderie and more sexiness into the plot. Lastly, I’m interested to know where a certain path may lead regarding several characters, including Vika.

Vas is about corrupt families and how one can overcome to make his own way. This book will appeal to those who enjoy dark romance set in an underground world.

My favourite one.

This time it’s Vas in the spotlight and he’s a great character. An invincible fighter who has a heart of gold especially where Darya is concerned.

Vas fell for Darya the first time he laid eyes on her. She was a slave at the time. Beaten, abused, dragged around naked wearing a collar and a leash. Vas is helpless to save her at the time but he’s determined she will be his.
Events unfold changing everything and it makes for a fascinating read.

I knew going in this was the last book in this series but having finished it I’m both disappointed and surprised. This book was my favourite so far and there’s so much potential I just want the series to continue. If nothing else where’s Rodion and Zahkar’s story?

If dark mafia underworld romance is what revs your engine, then by all means #oneclick immediately. If it isn’t, walk away LOL I know I laugh, but I’m serious. I’m tired of seeing reviews for these kinds of stories being 1 and 2 stars because readers can’t take the darkness, so fair warning, it’s dark!

Okay, so I myself read all three back to back and I think it enhanced my appreciation for the story. Vas and Darya had an incredible amount of heart and it helped to balance out the perversion and total debauchery this series had. The authors chose well to end this series with Vas although I hope this is not the end of the world they have created. There are stories hidden in this world that would make for spectacular spin-offs so we shall see ….

Fear was my home until you.

OMG! What an end to this series. Vas and Darya may have the saddest beginning to their lives, but once they find each other. It’s everything. I loved this story and it made me so emotional at times. It was steamy. It was romantic. It was tragic. It was a great wrap up to all the drama that has gone on between these families. So many pay offs. Some new characters that I am LIVING and DYING for. Can’t wait to see what comes next from these two authors.

This instanstallment of the V-Games series is another intense, dark and sexy ride I never wanted to end. Vas Volkov is the bastard son, the half brother of Diana and Irina and as a son of the maid he never grew up in the world of the first families. He didn't experience the luxuries of his birthright but he also wasn't fully exposed to the cruel and vicious ways of his father. He was raised by a loving mother and that's probably why of all the heroes in this series so far, he has the kindest heart. However, he is still an alpha and the need for power still flows through his veins.
My name has gained its own reputation in our dark world... I'll build my own kingdom, and everyone will learn whose feet to bow to.

Vas and Darya share a deep connection, probably because they both went from being alone to discovering family they never realized existed. Vas becomes Darya's saviour and after the torment she has been through, he becomes the person she leans on for support. Passion between these two becomes a living thing and their sexual intensity is on another level.

While Vas may be the most compassionate of these Bratva men, when it comes to protecting and defending Darya, make no mistake, the voracious, vindictive fighter comes out. There is plenty of bloodshed and death in this book. It's also overtly sexy with some moments of debauchery. Add to that some huge surprises and plot twists, this book was very fast paced and unputdownable!

Lovers of mafia romance, dark romance and sexy alpha males will love this series. Highly recommended!

I am so conflicted about this series. The authors really know how to blur the lines. These people are human traffickers and yet you root for the characters or the lesser of evils. There are some truly heinous characters in this series. This one feels like a bridge to other books in the series - we are still left with many questions, characters, and cliffie in other parts of the story although all seem to work out for Darya and Vas. I was encouraged by Vas and his ambiguous help for Vika - even though she did horrible things, I still think she is a true victim as much as Darya. The V Games were not as graphically described in this one - and after reading book 2 - dare I say that I was let down. See what I mean about blurred lines and ambiguity? Will I read this one again - No. Will I read other books in the series - Yes, I want to know what happens to Vika.

VEN by Ker Dukey & K Webster
GENRE: Dark
NARRATION: Dual POV Hero/Heroine
BOOK DETAILS: Book #3 in the V Games Series
AUDIO AVAILABLE? No

THE STORY:
In able to follow the storyline it is recommended that you first read VLAD Book #1 and VEN Book #2 In the V Games series.

The bad boys are back and the next round of the V Games is being planned. Whilst including all the previous character we have come to know in the series this installment is Vas and Darya's story.

description

MY THOUGHTS
Be prepared for the unexpected, you will think that you have all the answers but don't be mistaken the two K's have some serious secrets they've been hiding up their sleeves and will expose some shocking and disturbing truths.

Darya is an intriguing character, she comes across as meek, mild and weak but underneath she is so strong, having suffered so much and still able to open her heart to Vas.

Vas is less corrupt than most of the men in the series but make no mistakes he is more deadlier and dangerous then all of them put together.

VAS is fast paced and full of action, drama, romance and that gritty rawness Ker Dukey and K Webster usually deliver. I simply could not put this down and sadly its the last story in the series.

I have been so excited about the V game series for a long time and am sad to see it end. But Vas was honestly such a perfect ending to this series. Vas and Darya were so phenomenal and had such an amazing love story to balance out the violence and depravity the V games and the viciousness of these fighting families. I never wanted to see it end!

Without giving away any spoilers, I have always compared this series as a combination of the Hunger Games and an old world Russian bratva underworld. Are the various families confusing? Yes. Did I get confused a whole bunch of times and have to refer back to the family tree descriptions? Yes, again. But this book and the whole series altogether was absolutely ingenious and so well written. I was consumed with every book and addicted to every word. It was so violent and delicious but also romantic and loving. It was vicious and full of intense moments but the love stories between Vlad and Irina, Ven and Diana and Vas and Darya (and the countless friendships and familial bonds across the families) were absolutely incredible. I loved this book so much! It was full of unexpected gut punches and secrets galore. I seriously can not wait for more from these authors in the future! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

I’m so sad to see this series end! I have LOVED the V Games and Vas is no exception. Compared to Vlad and Ven, Vas seemed somewhat short and sweet. Although, the twists and turns just don’t stop coming! I loved every minute of this book. Now I’m really waiting/hoping for some spinoffs with all these great side characters! Highly recommend this series!!

English:
"Vas" by Ker Dukey and K Webster is the third in the series "The V Games" and you must read Vlad and Ven to have a little awareness to understand the family plots. With the previous books had, in my opinion, more content in relation to abuses and violations, etc. although this is neither exempt from all this, a bit lighter. This book takes me back to the world of these important families of the Russian mafia, but also to the "V Games".

After discovering that he is a Volkov, Vas, 18, will have to face everything that comes with carrying that family name. He was never part of that world and now all the responsibility is on him, but when his eyes turn to the young Darya, he realizes that she is the only one who puts light on that world of darkness and will do whatever it takes so that no one will ever hurt her again. Darya, 18, after being taken by the Vasilevs finds herself reliving a nightmare over and over again, but her life meets the young Volkov, of whom she feels desperately addicted.

Vas is a character who is nothing like Vlad and Ven, with the power and revenge that were abundant. He lived with his mother in a world that was different from them. After losing her and now that he knows he is a Volkov his life takes a dramatic twist, but still keeping the same values. Although he is also a fighter emotionally and physically, and no one has control over him, not like the previous ones where the family (parents) controlled more. Darya and his story are electrifying and at the same time, you get hooked at times because when you think you know everything, there is more to tell. Her way of hiding everything to protect Vas when he was the one who wanted to protect her from everything. Her life was very cruel, but you can see the change when she arrives at Volkov's house. She was afraid of everything but when she arrived at this family, learned to live with what happens to her, and it is extremely sad.
I think I miss more depth in their story because it was always Alyona and the Games V, and still wanted more romance or passion between them. However, I don't give it much importance because I really liked to know more about Alyona and also everything that happened when Darya discovered who her father was. That part was awesome, with families reunited and wanting to kill each other.

Love love love this series! I haven’t encountered a book from this series that I haven’t liked. Vas was such a surprise. Despite his upbringing he was kind and caring. I adore how he treated Darya and cherished her.

I can’t begin to describe how stoked I am for the next book! It’s obvious it’ll be a ménage, but I’m fine with it based on the characters. Usually it’s not my cup of tea but I’m willing to give it a go!

When the sun sets, it’s the moon’s time to shine

Vas
Vocal.
Voracious.
Vindictive.
Volkov.

Vas Krasnoff, the Volkov bastard, the help’s offspring but the only son of one of the the First Families.

The third book in the The V Games Series did not disappoint. While I did not know exactly what to think of Vas in the other two books he has become a "Dark Angel" fighting, protecting and avenging his loved ones.

Meeting beautiful, innocent Darya has Vas in knots. He feels protectiveness towards her, a burning desire to possess her and make her mine.
And Darya too senses the good in Vas, while she can sense the dark in him, she feels safe with him.

The game we play is the one where we continually win each other’s hearts.
And we’re both winning.

Vas is training Vlad's fighter for The V-Games. And these are, again, a brutal one with a very unexpected ending!

This series has captivated me but of course it would. Because every time this dynamic duo comes together it's gonna be intoxicating.
I highly recommend reading this series and hope Alyona and the Mad Men of Moscow will get their own book.

#1 Vlad – 3 stars
#2 Ven – 3 stars
#3 Vas – 3.75 stars

if the hunger games and hades hangmen had a love child, it would be vas.

“You just need to seek out the light within the darkness. Without the blanket of the night sky, you’d never see the beauty of the stars.”

after reading about Vlad and Ven, Vas was such a refeshing character because compare to the former two the latter at least seemed more human. but every guy in this series has in common is that they are gone for their love interest.

i really liked both the main characters. Vas was already a big part in Ven and a great brother to Diana and Irina. Darya was only a minor character in the previous book as she was kept as a sex slave and pet for Vlad's father. Darya didn't have an easy life. She lived a long time in a convent, where she was sexually abused by the people there (hence the hades hangmen reference), before she was sold to the Russian mafia. in this book we learn a lot more about Darya twisted family history.

Vas and Darya were cute together. usually, i don't go for the 'soft' guy and timid girl trope, but after Ven which was brutal, i was really liking the romance between Vas and Darya.

we get a lot of glimpses into the other characters as well. a lot of Vlad and Irina. Diana and Ven made a couple of appearances. other characters we came to hate make some appearances, so there was always something going on. people die, blood is shed, but nothing as the previous book.

overall it was a good conclusion to the series.

I szczerze? Zawiodłam się. Spodziewałam się czegoś bardziej wow.

I love Vas, he's the most decent man of these bunch. I also love

p.s. I can't wait for Alyona's book. Bring on the Barbie turned killing machine and her men!

This review won't be long, I finished this book in a day and didn't have no bad opinions about it or nothing that was too cringe worthy.

I loved this book, matter of fact the whole series.

K. Webster and Ker Dukey did not disappoint and hope to get more books from these two authors.

Thank you, for such a great read and a beautiful ending to this series.

***5 ‘Villainous Motherfuckers’ Stars***

I wanted to savor this one because it’s the last in the series, but failed miserably...or not so miserably depending on your POV, but this book was kind of everything. Not that I didn’t think it would be, especially after Ven (Still a TOTAL Diana #fangirl) but this one was all kinds of deliciously dark, deviant, debauched, bloody and full of heart. I know you just went “Huh?!?” But, seriously. This book wrapped up the series so well and I’m crossing my toes *while making pitiful puppy dog eyes at the authors* that this won’t be a true farewell to this world.

I adored Darya and Vas. Darya, we’ve “seen” and heard about throughout the series and none of the reasons have been good ones and one would expect her to be broken after all she has been through, and yet she isn’t. At least not down to her very soul. She’s bruised, battered and scarred, but boy is she strong. Her strength of will and faith is amazing and watching her heal was a something to experience. Vas is like none of the men in this series and yet he fits right in with the most vicious of them. He has this air of confidence because he knows exactly who he is and what he wants and doesn’t apologize for it all. He’s smart, sneaky and intense and yet he’s also good down to his very core. Their journey to their HEA is nothing like anyone else’s in the series and I absolutely loved it. It fit them and who they are perfectly and loved where they were at in the end.

Now, as much as I loved and adored Darya and Vas and their journey, I cannot deny that it was getting to hang out with the rest of these unique and intriguing characters that really made it a lot of fun for me. It was fun catching up with Vlad and Irina and Diana and Ven, especially Diana because, well, hello, #girlcrush. But it was the Madmen of Moscow, Rodion and Zahkar, and Alyona that absolutely stole the show for me. I was already in love with the Madmen after Ven’s book and this one just intensified that feeling. But Alyona is kind of everything. She was just a lot of fun. And then there is Vika...let’s just say, she is still a viper.

I’m a #fangirl of these authors and think that they did a great job with tying all of the little intrigues and issues in this book. There are still some that could have more added on, hence why I’m hoping we will get to revisit this world one day, but I’m quite happy with where everything was at in the end.

If you have read the other two books in this series, you should see how different this book is. Vas is not an over the top alpha male like the other book males are. He is a badass but a sweet guy. Knowing he has to be a badass in the ring does not mean that he has to be that way out, and so you get this beautiful hero that you want to hide away with.

Vas is in love with a slave, but we have known this for a while. Darya is an angel that needs saving, but he has no idea whom he is saving. When Darya finds out who she is her world comes to a head. Will she fall for Vas when her past comes to light or will she walk away?

This book is beautiful. This one is different as we don't get so much of the V Games. But the end of this book will kick you in the butt.

This book starts exactly where the last one left off. We saw a little more of Vas in the second book, so I was intrigued to see how this one went.

I loved Vas's caring heart. He was still strong, tough, and possessive. I was a little irritated he felt Vika deserved something good, because honestly she deserves nothing. She's a horrible human being. But I get it. And man can Vas fight or what!!!

Darya has a heartbreaking story. I loved her connection with Vas. I can't really talk about her without giving some things away. There were some shockers I wasn't prepared for in this one in regards to her!!! I was so happy for her.

This was a great ending for these families!! I can't wait to read the spin-off with Rodion & Zahkar!! Those two are hot!!

Vas is the final book in the epic conclusion to The V Games.
This book is filled with utter betrayals, death, and sinful off the charts steam.

Vas has risen to the top to claim what was rightfully his. But, when he meets a young woman named Darya everything starts to crumble. They have both seen darkness beyond belief, and see the world differently than others...

In a world of monsters, Vas and Darya find comfort in each other's arms.
