A transplant to the Midwest from Washington State, Malinda Andrews lives in Wisconsin within a stone’s throw of Lake Michigan.
The love of writing started young (she credits, or alternately blames, her parents for her love of reading and writing) and followed her passion for the written word into college. Forgoing financial security, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
An avid reader, Malinda also enjoys crocheting, watching TV and movies, book shopping, hiking, and camping.

I liked this one better than the first book! I like that Declan's personality shone through in this book. The no clothes/naked scenes with Declan had me chuckling. In the first book, I found a Declan red flag (go read my review on the first one). However, he redeemed himself in this one. Every woman can appreciate a man who surprises her with various dates. It is a huge turn-on. So, I can overlook Declan's makeup red flag from the first book. However, I will say Declan and Aubriee have supposedly been together for nearly a year at this point, and it still seems like they don't have that coupe connection or spark. It's like they barely know each other. Especially when it came down to the whole Brian situation. I seriously doubt a partner in a serious relationship would keep that from their new SO.

I loved getting to go back to Ireland and see more of Aubriee’s life as she continues building her new home there. She’s working hard to get her bed and breakfast ready while dealing with all the chaos that comes with renovations and the busy Christmas season. Watching her try to juggle everything while still finding moments of joy made the story feel relatable.

The small town atmosphere and community were some of my favorite parts. The found family vibes were just perfect, and it was heartwarming to see how the people around Aubriee show up when she needs them. And of course, seeing more of Aubriee and Declan together was great - their relationship feels really natural and sweet.

Between the Irish setting, the holiday celebrations, and all the cozy moments, this book just felt warm and comforting.

love is in the air

Irish ☘️ love story,…can there be a more romantic story? I think not. No matter how hard he tries Declan can not get the proposal right…will he ever…?

He has to overcome self doubt, and ex’s, other friends, commitment to music and family…will Aubriege say yes? Will she worry and compare the relationship to her ex Brian? Read on….

Great Read!

I really enjoyed book 2 in this series watching Declan and Aubriee jump many hurdles while traveling their very crazy road to Declan finally proposing. I'm looking forward to reading book 3 in this series and see what mishaps occur for them finally getting to the alter. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone.

This book was a refreshing read after a romance binge during quarantine. This is the second book in her Irish Baker trilogy and I have to say my favorite so far. It was a joy to get to know the characters better.

I loved the setting in Ireland, a place I've always wanted to see! The story was beautiful! The characters were all interesting and enjoyable! Thanks for the wonderful story!!
