I enjoyed reading this book very much. It is a wonderfully written Christian romance novel set in a small Australian country town. The author beautifully describes life in rural Australia. The main character Ariana is a religious young doctor with a kind heart who always tries to help others and finds comfort in trusting in her religion whenever she needs to make decisions. You are taken on a wonderful journey of this inspirational young woman who has a sad family history. After moving to a small county town for a fresh start, everything seems to be falling into place for Ariana, she is making lots of new friends, settling into her new surroundings and also meeting the love of her life. A well-rounded great story to read!

Cherished Encounter: A Doctor Romance by Crystal Mary Lindsey is a well crafted romantic Christian fiction novel. And I would imagine that fans of this genre will love having a nibble this one! I have never read this author before but I must say I was very impressed.
The story had every element a good story should have. An exhilarating plot, attention to detail, but best of all fleshed out, well-written and well-rounded character development. There’s an abundance of well illustrated scenes that really make you feel like you are right there in the story, and that's something I really look for in a good book.
This entrancing and praiseworthy work had me immersed from the beginning. The story flows from scene to scene with ease, and the author shows exceptional skill when it comes to storytelling. There are twists and turns in this page turner that will take the reader on a fascinating journey!
It’s one of those stories that come along once in awhile that makes you want to read it non-stop until you get to the end. I’m giving nothing further away here. And this, I hope, will only add to the mystery and enjoyment for the reader!
I’ll certainly be looking forward to reading more from Crystal Mary Lindsey in the future! I would definitely recommend this book. I’d give this 6 stars if I could. Unfortunately, I can only give it a mere 5!

Wow this book is one of the most impressive books I have read in quite some time. Ariana Ross is leaving her old life behind. Her parents were murdered when she was very young and she was brought up by family members. But now at the age of 27 she is wanting to go out on her own and she is offered a job working with friend of her Uncles. She sets out of town in her Yellow Volkswagen Beetle, and along with her for the ride is her two guardian angles Goodness and Mercy. As she starts her new life she finds the love of her life Zane Lombardi who helps her find out what happens to her Parents all those years ago.

I can’t say enough about this book!
Arianna’s story will melt your heart. When she was only two years old, her parents were murdered by her grandfather while she was asleep in her room.
Her mother had fallen in love with her father, leaving home to escape an arraigned marriage to an older man set forth by her father.
Arianna’s father’s family took her in and raised her in a loving home. Protecting her from the past and the mystery that surrounded her parent’s death.
Her father’s family took it hard losing their son and daughter-in-law filled with love and compassion for this baby girl, their granddaughter they saw to to raise her as their own.
This act of kindness set Arianna on a journey of life filled with adventure as she became the woman I know her parents would have desired her to be.
Would Arianna’s life become one of grief and sadness or one of an overcomer?
Would she ever find the answers to the mystery that haunted her and left her without her parents?
How did life turn out for her after enduring a tragedy no one ever expects?
Why would her grandfather do such a horrible thing? To murder his own daughter and her husband while his granddaughter lay asleep in her bed!!!
What impact did Arianna’s story have on those who became apart of her life?
While beautifully written and well crafted this is a story love, forgiveness and resilience.

Cherished Encounter is a breath of fresh air. I have not read many Christian Fiction books and I loved how freely our Lord was praised and pointed to during the course of this book. It reflects lives that when given up to Christ, experience the love of Jesus and the blessing of His divine will. The main character is a strong female with convictions rooted in Christ. By making life decisions guided in prayer, she found the will of God as she embarked to a new area, met new friends, and discovered love. I was reminded how often we need to be giving up our desires and wills to the One who knows all and will work out all for our good. Even when facing complicated and touchy moments, she asked God to guide her and He never fails her. I loved her inhibition regarding introducing others to the love of Jesus and seeing their own lives transform as they enter into a relationship with Him. My own family is Italian, so I related to all of the references of food and my mouth watered as she discussed their love and culture around the dinner table! Being an American, I was drawn into the life of an Australian and felt like I was on the adventure with them. You will really enjoy this book!

Cherish Encounter by Crystal Mary Lindsey is a warm and fuzzy that truly offers inspiration and enjoyment. This book should be read by believers of the Lord Jesus Christ. The author reflex her beliefs through the story of her Characters. The story’s heroine, Ariana Ross is a doctor who is going to her first job offered to her by a friend of his uncle to work in the hospital; he was working. She was two years old when her parents were killed Although she was raised by a loving grandparent, Aunt, and uncle she has this night mirror and the question in her mind why her parents were killed. Now she is driving toward a small town in Australia to start her new job. Is she going to find her soul mate? Is she going to find the truth about her parents? You will discover all in this beautiful book. Kindness through Ariana’s action shows her devotion to God, Cherish Encounter is a Godly story, a family saga story and a good read for young adults.

I loved the characters in this story. They were so relatable and down-to-earth. Ariana is close to her family and has a strong faith in Christ, even though she has a troubled past. I love how she prayed to God over each step she was about to take in her life. I enjoyed the addition of her encounter with her angels.
I was engaged in the story from the beginning and couldn't put it down. I loved the descriptions of the Australian countryside and the closeness of friends and family was inspiring.
The added mystery helped give the story another aspect and helped to build excitement. I didn't want it to end. The sweet romance between Ariana and Zane helped move the story along. Zane's affection and love for Ariana came through well.
Another great read from the author. I look forward to reading more. HIghly recommended.

With each book I have read by Crystal Mary Lindsey, I learn a little more about why Ozzies are not bragging when they called their magnificent country the Land of Oz. Cherished encounter is certainly no exception. This book is a little more romantically-inclined than the others she has written that I have read, but it still has plenty of true Christianity very nicely blended in. Besides, our Heavenly Father is much more romantically-inclined than we can even start to naturally comprehend. Cherished Encounter clearly indicates this.

-Main character is a medical doctor
-Christian perspective. Seemed pretty solid, though there was a comment about someone being saved but not realizing it... not sure how that works.
-Different cultures than my own
-Brings up some hard topics while keeping it clean (I’d say 16 and up could easily read this, maybe younger as well.
Areas for improvement & what I didn’t like:
-Couldn’t get into it. I really tried, but I found it hard to relate to the characters or forget that I was reading and just enjoy the book-reading experience.
-Everyone finds happiness by marriage or engagement with plans to marry
-Formatting issues (not a big deal for me as it was a kindle edition)
-Dialogue felt stilted at times

Inspirational
"There is a time under the heavens for all things." A phenomenal faith-driven romance. Full of passion and mystery. This is the first Christian romance book that I've read, and I found it a wonderful read. The connection between Ariana and Zane is inspiring. Both dealing with the past makes up the perfect backdrop for this great story. This is a hidden gem that I found so delightful and engaging. I liked that it wasn't just about the couple but their family and their faith. From the beginning to eternity .
