She came to the mountains looking for some peace and quiet for the holidays, but her plans are quickly derailed by smoking hot single dad mountain man Colton Smith.
Famed food blogger Willa Roseblum rented a cabin in the mountains for Christmas in hopes of celebrating her deceased mother's life the best way she knew how - baking lots of cookies, reading lots of romance novels, and cross country skiing through the forest.
Colton Smith, rugged mountain man and single dad just wanted to give his teenage daughter the best Christmas she's ever had.
Neither one was looking for a soulmate, but when their paths cross, no one can deny that it's more than just the mistletoe that's making them feel true love for the first time. Will their romance survive into the New Year?
A Mountain Man for Christmas is a sweet and steamy 32,000 word Christmas novella with no cheating and a guaranteed HEA sure to melt your heart (and steam up your ereader) this holiday season!
It's a feel good beautiful story. It's better than I expected. I really enjoyed it.
The story is about Colton and Willa.
She's a food blogger. Her mom passed away from breast cancer and she decided to spend the holidays at a little log cabin on the mountain.
Colton owns the cabin she's renting. He was married before, has a daughter and a golden retriever.
Both didn't expect to meet the right one for them and I'm glad they did't push each other away. They're so great together and they deserved each other. Both of them were such great characters.
I love a good mountain Man story this is my third Christmas story of the year and my first time reading a Deja Voss story this story takes place in the mountains of course. Willa the heroine is a popular blogger whom just lost her mother and needs a little time to reflect.
Colton lives right next door to where Willa lives. He upkeep’s the place that his family owns. Colton is a true mountain man a divorcee and a father to a teenage daughter. It’s the Christmas holidays and Colton needs a little help from Willa. This story is also insta attraction between the two main characters.
There is also no drama between Colton and his ex which I liked. Most stories have drama between the ex especially when their is a child involved.
This story is the perfect Christmas romance story.
I love a good Christmas Book - especially when you throw in a sexy man, with a good heart and is a great father *swoon*. Colton lives on his Mountain and loves his life, except when he doesn't get to see his daughter but for the holidays and summer. Willa comes to the said Mountain to escape the holiday pain of losing her Mother. When Colton and Willa meet there is an instant connection, but is the connection strong enough to make her want to stay? This is a great make you feel good book for the Christmas Season!
Going to be completely honest, this is the first time that I've read this author's work and I was impressed! This was a great story, with incredible chemistry and passionate and intense connection but most importantly, an awesome happy ending for Willa and Colton :)
when I come across a writer, who doesn’t understand the proper usage of I/me. But, here we are again. “Stay the holidays with Jarrod, Lily, and I”. No, with them, and ME. Remove the other name(s) and the correct choice becomes clear. You’re welcome. That annoyance aside, it was a nice afternoon romance. Not fantastic, not likely to just blow you away, but a very nice, relaxing, easy-read afternoon romance.
Willa Rosebloom noticed the snow storm was getting worse as she dragged her suitcase into the beautiful mountain cabin. With her mom recently passed away, she was having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. This trip gave her the alone time she needed right now while still providing an internet connection so she could work. Her mom had taught her a love of travel, how to make others happy, and a respect for culture. She had so many wonderful memories.
After unpacking, Willa did a brief video blog to tell her viewers that she made it safely to the cabin and would resume her food blog a little later when she settled in. She sees a golden retriever bounding through the snow in her backyard and a man on a snowmobile chasing after it. The dog makes it to her door and scratches to come in. Colton figures that Billy saw the car in the driveway and expected to see his ex-wife Carrie and daughter Kimber returning to the cabin. With Carrie’s new husband not able to take off for Christmas this time, he was instead able to rent out the cabin for the month. But he should probably introduce himself to the new renter. He likes her sassy, bold, and fun personality. But he has to get back to his cabin for a video chat with his 12-year-old daughter who will be spending Christmas break with him.
Willa goes for a hike in the snow but, having forgotten to wax the skis, she had to head back sooner, briefly sitting down in the snow to clean them of the sticking lumps of snow. Colton saw her from his snowmobile and thought she was hurt. He helped her up and offered to give her a ride home, which she gratefully accepted. They had coffee, then she invited him and his dog to dinner later. He was such a nice guy. Things might turn out better than she ever expected.
When Colton picks Kimber up at the airport and takes her back to the cabin to get Billy, he is amazed that Kimber starts gushing in excitement at recognizing Willa! She and Carrie always watched Willa’s blog and she eagerly asked if she could help with the peppermint cupcakes Willa planned to make for the show. They shopped for the ingredients and had lunch together, then went out to chop down the Christmas tree. By then, Kimber needed a nap. Colton and Willa took advantage of the alone time to shower together in his room. When they started gathering ingredients for dinner, Willa used her phone to film the start of his meatloaf, both of them laughing and teasing about it. Kimber walks in and thinks they are filming the food blog without her and that Willa is just using her to get close to her dad. She runs back to her room upset. Willa is devastated that she had encroached on their special time together and returns home. Is the romance between Colton and Willa over? Has she ruined the Christmas joy between father and daughter?
This was a slow-building relationship story that pulled the reader in and shared something very special. The kindness of the characters shown through easily. The emotions were real and heart-felt. Only a misunderstanding could break up the close relationship that was forming. Grab a copy and share in this lovely story of love and caring. See how it all works out for these deserving characters.
ONE HOT READ!!! Talk about hot and bothered. Deja nailed this little jewel completely. All the twists and turns, ups and downs, ins and outs, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one fascinating experience. As the drama, jealousy, heartache and misunderstanding increase and tension spirals as the plot thickens. A strong and amazing storyline will captivate and hold your attention until the last word. This is one emotional rollercoaster with so much feelings and pulling those heartstrings. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The two main characters have such depth and individuality it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Deja did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Awesome job Deja, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Willa is grateful to have made to her cabin before the storm hit. She rented it so she could be alone to deal with her grief and work on her food blog. When she hears a scratching at her door she is surprised when she sees a dog and a sexy mountain man with it. Colton is her landlord and neighbor but his mother was the one that rented it so she never met him. Colton is trying to get ready for his daughter Kimber's visit but can't stop thinking about Willa. They have dinner together one night and things get heated between them pretty quickly. Colton is stunned when his daughter knows who Willa is and is immediately taken with her. Will Willa finds the man of her dreams in Colton?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

A sweet Christmas romance what a nice way to spend a cold afternoon doing but read this little gem. Colton and Willa are such great characters you almost wish they were real. They would make great friends. I think going to the cabin was just the right thing to do and I am sure that her mother had a hand in it too. If you are looking for a great holiday read this is the one to pick up. Deja Voss is a new author to me and a great find as I know I will be looking for more books by her to read as this one was so enjoyable. It is a sweet romance [yes with some red hot heat] about a young woman, Willa, who seeks solitude up in the mountains to celebrate her mum's life, bake and maybe some skiing. Meanwhile, Colton , single dad to his teenage daughter, just wants to give her the happiest of Christmas's whilst up in the mountains. Neither expected to find their soulmates but they so in each other. This is one of those stories where I smiled as I was reading it and thought "Awww" as well as "Woooo Hooo!" Great characters and a storyline that is realistic and believable. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
I love Mountain Man stories and this one by DeJa Voss is a real good one I enjoyed it immensely. This story starts off really emotional with Willa dealing with her mother’s death, she rents a cabin in the mountains for some peace and quiet but that’s what she doesn’t get when she meets Colton and his daughter. Colton is a single dad of a 12 year old daughter Kimber, when Colton and Willa meet there’s an instant attraction but Colton’s daughter gets jealous of Willa. So will Kimber tear them apart and how far does she take her jealousy?, if you want to know the answer to that then your going to have to get this book I loved it and I know you will too. A fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Willa Rosebloom needed peace and quiet it is her first Christmas since her mother died and she just can't get into the christmas spirit so she decides to take off to a mountain cabin after all as long as she has internet she can keep on working. Colton is the man she rented the cabin from though she has never met him as she corresponded with his mother He usually has his ex wife and daughter staying in the cabin but her new partner couldn't get the time off but that doesn't stop his dog from charging to the cabin looking for his daughter Kimber. The attraction between these two is immediate and one thing leads to another Will Willa find a ne future with Colton and his daughter This is a wonderful sweet story with no drama or angst
I enjoyed this story very much, especially as when I look outside my window and see the wind and rain it doesn't feel much like Christmas. This story took me away to a wonderful winter wonderland where I met likeable characters who were well developed and lovely Christmas themes and activities. It reall was a lovely read which made me laugh, cry, smile and want to bake Christmas treats! I wish it could have been longer as I liked the characters so much. Ooh and I want to make my husband and child where matching Christmas jumpers with me!

I love the whole mountain man romance genre as the men as damaged and gruff making them even more appealing and sexy. Willa Roseblum comes to the mountains to heal after the death of her beloved mother and in doing so she meets Colton Smith a divorced father who is getting his twelve-year-old daughter Kimber for Christmas. Willa, Colton, and Kimber's story is one I was not putting down once I had started reading it. The story flows smoothly from page to page.

Willa is a food blogger who rents a cabin in the mountains hoping to just remember her mother's spirit by baking cookies, reading trashy romance novels and just relaxing but then she meets Colton a single father of a teenaged daughter trying to give Ber a Christmas to remember but they fall in love but will they make it who knows. I'm almost finished but if you want the answer you'll have to read it too but its awesome so far.

This is an emotional roller coaster that you will need a few solid uninterrupted hours to read because you will not want to stop once you start reading it. Colton is the perfect book boyfriend. Steamy hot, kind and a dedicated father. Willa is emotionally hurting during this holiday season after the loss of her mother. Once these two meet the sparks fly and the snow melts right along with your heart. This is one of the best holiday romances I have read this year!

Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop. A passionate and emotional read with twists. Enjoyable and recommendable.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes it better of than without it. It could have been more than it is the epilogue, but I liked it.
A story that makes the reader laugh, smile and sometimes cry. It is sweet and enjoyable. Not that big in drama but still engaging.

This story is a very sweet romance with the twist of a previous marriage and child. A lot of adoring fans and a whole lot of other somewhat plausible and realistic scenery and scenes. No villain, they are not always a neccessity! But old fashioned family values and romance in abundance. I really liked reading this story and can only hope that you do too.

Merry Christmas to Willa and Colton. and everyone else who reads this book.
Willa lost her mom, her side kick, and best friend from cancer. Now she's learning how to be alone. Or is she? The hot man who lives down the road wouldn't be bad to occupy some of her time.
What a woman! Colton is smitten with Willa from the moment he meets her. When he kisses her he knows. From the bottom of his heart. She's so easy to be around. Will she want to stay with him in the woods?
Willa was looking for a quiet place so could celebrate Christmas and her deceased mother’s life. Colton just wants to give his daughter a fabulous holiday. Sparks fly between Willa and Colton but will his daughter like the fact that her father has another woman in his life? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and great chemistry. I really liked it.
A Mountain Man for Christmas is the best Holiday book I have read. It is a beautiful love story between Colton and Willa. A fast easy read, with some drama to make it exciting. Love the romance they share, and the added drama with Colton';s son makes the book more exciting.

A nice read to curl up with on a cold day. It is sweet, emotional, exciting and so much more. She just wants some time to herself away from everything to rest, relax and celebrate her mom's life and passing. Then here comes a hot single dad. Then the adventure begins. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
