When a tall man with a military bearing suddenly materialises in a rural Irish village in 1941, the locals are puzzled. The stranger claims to be from Poland. He spends all his time on a hill overlooking the Irish Sea, and when the locals ask him why he carries a powerful pair of binoculars everywhere, he says he's a bird watcher. But can he be trusted?

After 27 years working with computers in a variety of industries: Oil exploration, pharma, hospitals, manufacturing, shipping etc., I retired early and began to write. I've been writing full time since 2007, and have completed hundreds of short stories and self-published 7 novels.
