Love, Daddy #5

Good Girls Say Please

Rate this book
From the moment I saw her in the greenhouse checkout line fumbling for change, I changed. I smiled for Christ sake. It felt odd. I couldn’t remember the last time anything made me smile.

See, I’m not in the smiling sort of business. My life hasn’t given me much to smile about for a long time.

This five-foot-nothing package of contradictions has me turning my life upside down. With her crooked glasses and her blonde bangs that are always in her eyes, she’s one half my little girl. In the next breath, she’s pure sex with a backside that looks best with my handprint on both cheeks.

The first time she called me Daddy, I knew I’d never be the same. I want to be a better man because of her. She’s mine, my everything and I’ll protect her to the ends of the earth.

The only problem is. I may have to.

Author’s Note: This is pure Daddy heaven. Rough talking Russian meets his one of a kind cherub, and his cold heart starts beating again. It starts dirty and ends dirtier, but in between is all the yumminess of a possessive Daddy trying to change his life for his babygirl. And just for the record, no one is related here and they are all over the age of 18.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

I'm on the fence with this one. I liked the Daddybear/Babybear talk and scenes, which were not very plentiful, but other than that it all just felt very incomplete. The story doesn't start off with the first meeting between Stas and Ginger, though we do eventually get a small part of that, and in general I just felt like the character development was super weak. Which, let's be honest, I didn't go into this book expecting a huge story or detailed background on these characters but when stuff from Ginger's past started coming up then I felt like it became necessary to give more information on her and that didn't happen. Then we have Stas whose job became a big part of the story, yet I finished that book still confused on what exactly what he was involved in.

So overall everything was just a little under-developed for me and it had me wanting more. More information, more sexiness, more intrigue....just more.

4 stars!

i loved the quotes previously posted by @K. so it's almost a one-click for me. i enjoyed this a lot. storyline was filled with deception, mystery, some light angst and lots of heat. that being said, the relationship between Stas and Ginger is different from the usual Dd/lg read. this was definitely towards the more.. intense side?

"We will fight for us. Forever.”

Stas demands Ginger's honesty at all times, yet both are still hiding some parts of their life from each other, which ultimately led to some drama. He is also extremely protective of Ginger and is always making sure her needs are fulfilled. (the other way round too ofc)

the only thing was that calling Daddybear and Babybear seemed a little funny to me. Babybear sounds okay but maybe not Daddybear..? anyways, if you enjoy Dd/lg, i guess you'll enjoy this one! 4 stars!

I read Angel by the same author a while back and remember thinking it was cute but this was not in the same ballpark. At. All.

For one, the heroine has some really dark and incestuous family drama She runs away rather than be used and they end up coming back to try and ruin her life.

Secondly , the MMC is was too OTT with the whole pleasure/pain kink. When the smexy times leave you uncomfortable or damn right cold, it’s time to call it quits.

I’m not sure I’d read any more by this author if this is more her style.

For a split second SPLIT i almost DNF when the first few lines are sex.. and i was oh god pls nooo but i pushed more and it was between Ginger (h) and Stas (H) lol so blessssed!!

Now reminder this is a daddy kink... if not intrested back away:]

Stas saw Ginger at the store and was already wanting her and went after what he wanted fastforwd they are living together been few months enjoying their relationship BUT these two have been keeping secrets from eachother..
Stas his job as a hitman and Ginger/Stephanie who lies about her family and ran away.

When a job goes south Ginger gets kidnapped and taken by a man who wants his stuff from Stas and he knows Gingers family.. shes confused why her bitchy Grandma knows this guy and is somewhat afraid of him.. but guy isnt done he tells Ginger the truth about her Man and the lies he told..

But that doesnt stop her from loving Stas or him from loving her..

Only thing i disliked  was the babybear nickname and daddy bear.. it was said 819191 times...

No ow/om drama, no cheating, Drama, sexy times, no virgins

I can’t with the Daddy kink y’all.

*shivers in horror*

I’m happy for the girlies who love it. I’m sad to DNF. I never do that. Yet the option is just not an option for me. The first chapter (until the first daddy *shivers again* came about) was really 🥵🔥.

If you like the kink, this book seems to have a nice slice of it. 🍰

Bon appétit and peace out.

PS: I didn’t know it was a Daddy series before I started 😭😂.

The kink was good. The rest... was not—the plot was either too coincidental or too predictable.

Overall a good book. I enjoyed it. I’d say it’s a 3.5.

Some things :

-this is a daddy k*nk book and it had DDLG themes. So daddy.DDlg is newish to me in that I’ve been seeking out more of these types recently but I’m still new and a lot of these book still cringe me out BUT- this book I feel like it’s a good intro to DDlg. Their nicknames used over and over are annoying but besides that, it’s got all the dominance of an alpha and all the care taking of a daddy. Loved it. No diapers or super age play at all. This is a good one to dip into if you kinda like daddy but not to hard lol
-H is called: Daddy, daddybear and sir like once.
-h is called: baby, girl, little girl and baby bear mostly
-H and h were insta and we get them kinda having a “remembrance” moment of their they first meet without constant flash backs.
-Instalove- when this book starts they are getting it on and it’s hot 🥵 😂 ALLLLLL their smexy times are sexy to me. 😅
-The h is taken by someone not H for a brief time.
-their is NOOOOOO other people drama AT ALL. H can’t even stand the thought of thinking of his past when there was anyone else lol
-H is possesiv3… he does not like anyone even thinning of his baby bear
-HEA

This was overall a good book. I really enjoyed it but I’ve been really loving the care taking lately and this has that along with some power exchange which I love .

From page 1 I knew this was going to be an incredible story. I loved that this was a full length story which too me on a rollercoaster ride of suspense. I loved every second and hope we get George and Sarah’s story!

I am so honored to say that I've gotten to read this. This is by far my favorite Dani Wyatt book, I would even go so far as to say it's her best work yet. So different from her norm but so deliciously naughty. Everyone needs to read this one.

Good Girls Say Please by Dani Wyatt

HERO - Stanislov Pavlovich aka Stas. Gives people new identities. Dark hair with highlights of silver at the temples, close-cropped. Grayish-green eyes.

HEROINE - Ginger Murphy. Plant whisperer. Long, blonde hair with crooked bangs. Brown eyes with blue flecks. Black-rimmed glasses.

OVERALL THOUGHTS - First, this book heavily features daddy kink / DDLG lifestyle. She calls him Daddy or Daddybear. He calls her Babybear. If that kind of thing isn’t your jam, you probably won’t like this book. Also, while the hero’s name is extremely Russian, he’s an American born to Russian parents, so there’s no sexy accent or Russian-speaking, unfortunately.

When the story starts, Stas and Ginger have already been together for two months. They met at a greenhouse, fell in love at first sight, and he moved her in with him after three dates. The problem is, they’re both keeping secrets from one another and lying about it to boot. Stas hides his past and the fact that the work he does is illegal and Ginger hides the fact that she ran away from home, cut all ties with her family, and changed her name. The plot of this book revolves around what happens when their lies catch up with them and Stas’s present collides with Ginger’s past.

Sooo...I have thoughts. I like DDLG stories so I enjoyed Stas and Ginger’s relationship. The chemistry was there, if not the communication. The big issue for me was pretty much everything else. I think you get my point. I could go on and on about events that are just too convenient for me to be able to suspend disbelief. One or two, okay. The whole story is filled with them, though.

Another issue I had was that right after Stas and Ginger have a conversation about being more open and telling each other the truth, they immediately lie to each other. Well, good talk, I guess! Glad that got cleared up!

And finally, my last issue is with the epilogues, but this is entirely based on preference and has nothing to do with the writing. I’m not a fan of

So while the story kept me engaged and I wanted to figure out the truth behind everything going on, I felt ultimately let down. I would have been happier if it’d been a straight DDLG romance with them just meeting and falling in love and exploring the lifestyle because the suspense plot fell flat.

OK, WARNING: Before you even START this excellent & well written book, like even before the first paragraph, have the below:
a) a HUGE fan
b) a HUGE spray bottle of ICE water
c) a HUGE pitcher of Ice Tea
Seriously!
This scorching hot Daddy/Babygirl book starts hot & heavy steamwise IMMEDIATELY, no being gently segued into it, BAM you're tossed in the deep end out of the gate.
The author (IMO) does a superlative job laying the foundation for the 2 main characters of Stas (H) & Ginger (h). The reader is treated to the POV for Stas & Ginger allowing peeks into each one to understand some of the decisions that led our characters to their extant situation & relationship. HOWEVER, both Stas AND Ginger have secrets & have told the other lies, both out of fear of causing harm to the other and/or loosing the other. And when a relationship of a Daddy & his Babygirl is supposed to be based on truth. . . . Well, the potential for disaster is a dangling sword on a string. And then, what happens if & when that string breaks?
I cannot stress enough just how MUCH I loved this book, if I could have, I'd have rated it 10 stars. IMO it was superb & there wasn't anything: plot, characters, suspense that I didn't love & eagerly read. It wasn't only the seriously HOT sex between Stas & Ginger, or the tension & suspense of the secrets & lies they had, what was the icing on this cake for me was the foundation & cement of their relationship & that was the intense & unwavering love Stas & Ginger had for each other.
I truly 'felt' for both these characters, I WANTED them to be together, stay together, prosper together, grow old together. I felt happy, sad, worried, angry & could not stop until I finished the book. This one definitely has been placed in the REREAD file on my Kindle.
There is a little violence, intense & graphic sex (all consensual) & no cheating by either party. Be aware: this book describes in detail & often the emotional sides of an intense Daddy & his beloved Babygirl & the sexual sides too.

Loved this

Brilliant loved this one. Ginger is Stas baby bear and Stas is daddy bear but what ginger doesn’t know is the job Stats does. Ginger has run away from her family as they forced her into pageants but forced her to have surgery if parts of her didn’t look right what Ginger didn’t know is that with her running away the grandfather stopped their money. Gingers past comes for her again and the twist who her father is.m
Stas life changed the first time he saw Ginger he doesn’t tell her about his job as it is for their safety until this one job that goes wrong. The client knew information about Stas and the package that is being delivered to make him disappear and a new life for him doesn’t meet his standards. Stas leaves and goes back home for only when he gets their Ginger is gone and a note of what he needs to do but he won’t see Ginger again as she will be going back to her family the man who W uphold the accept the package has taken her.
Ginger has been kidnapped not sure if Stas will find her before she is taken home Ginger listens and finds information but the biggest is the man who took her is her real father the one wanting Stas to meet his demands.
Stas and Ginger move on from the kidnapping different rules are made but also ones for Stas the big one is they can’t lie or hide anything from esch other.
Stas manages to get out of the work he does but has to leave the US and not to come back they can live with that as long as Gingers miniature Donkey’s can come along too.

I do happen to love this author but this story not as much as others by her but I felt there was too much information when it wasn’t needed and not enough detail when it was.

Ginger is not who she says she is, running away from home t hopefully have a life that she wants and not following the rules and regulations her family have been imposing on her since birth, only now she is living a life she never thought that she wanted and becoming suffocated in the lies she has told him. Making a life up that was nothing like her reality. And now her life is catching up with her in a way that she wasn’t ever expecting but can her Daddybear make it to her before she is hurt or maybe something worse. But it turns out that she is not the only one keeping secrets.

Stas is a master at building new identities for people needing to escape from lives that are in either danger or need to disappear. Never really caring about the life he was leading or the dangers that he faced, that is until he meets Ginger, she upends his world and the life that he was leading now presents dangers that could destroy the life that he wants with her and now someone wants to take her from him but no one is taking his world away from him and he will do anything and everything to protect her.

Dani Wyatt has outdone herself with this book. Different from her normal books with the mystery and intrigue thrown in with the spicey smut that she normally writes.
Daddy/Babygirl, mystery, kidnapping, behind the scenes murder, and a definite HEA.

While this book may not be everyone's cup of tea I absolutely loved it. Never has there been a more beautiful love story written. Be warned it is only for MATURE readers! Ladies be sure to have some ice water handy because it does get steamy.

I loved how Stas and Ginger met and that he bought all those plants and had delivered to his home, now that is instant love ;) Stas not only loves Ginger but does so many things just to show her how much he loves her and listens to her regarding what she likes. The donkey pj's were an awww how sweet moment for me. Stas sounds like one hot AF Russian ;) that knows what he wants and will go to any length to keep what is his safe.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I actually fell asleep reading the first night but not because I was bored for sure. It's a real page turner.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will not be the last.

This novella is fast paced and is in dual point of view and certainly has all the emotions of both characters.

Stas is in the criminal world and helps people get new lives and disappear, whilst Ginger has run from her family and was found by Star when he felt an immediate connection with her.

But with Star having a woman it puts Ginger in danger, but the danger is from someone that neither party saw coming.

Star does everything he can when Ginger suddenly goes missing when he goes on a business trip. He involves his best friend George, his assistant Sarah and as many of Georges acquaintances that owe favours.

Both Ginger and Stas have told lies to each other that are found out, but it does not deter from their love and only strengthens them as they strive to do better and be better.

I loved how both give each other their full trust and support and how they would do anything for each other and the person they love.

This book is about an obsessive, dominant, sugar daddy, whose life is forever changed after receiving an embarrassed glance from a beautiful young woman he meets in the most unusual location.

Was I looking for a thought provoking storyline when I reached for this book.
No, not exactly, and needless to say, that is exactly what I did not get.

What I did get was some gritty sex from an over the top daddy with his marginally obedient little, throw in a questionable past or two, lots of talk about plants, a fairy garden and two miniature donkeys.

Your understand once you read it.

The first page land's you smack in the middle of a hot and steamy sex scene.
The sex throughout was overboard but very hot.
The plot, not so much.

Would I read the other daddies by this author?
Questionable, but I did get exactly what I wanted from this book.
Mindless fluff, with an obsessive, possessive daddy and great sex.

Very contrived erotic insta-love romance.

It’s a very explicit romance story. Mildly interesting plot. A bit repetitive in subject matter. The s e x went on and on. While I loved the naughtiness, I didn’t feel the author wrote the story so I could fall in love with the characters. It was written telling me all the important events that happened off page as pass tense, instead of with me in present tense.

My only real problem was how she had the male lead commanding her like a dog. It was “now” this and “now” that. Now, now, NOW, through nearly every s e x scene and that annoyed me so much I couldn’t read these scenes straight through.

Still it was okay and I would try more stories by this author.
