Dark Seduction is a Havenwood Falls Sin & Silk Novella by Michele G. Miller and R.K. Ryals.
Harper Sinclair is a spiritual psychic, she is the means with which spirits communicate with the living. Unfortunately, some evil spirits, shadows, have attached themselves to her. Rather than feeling threatened though she welcomes them as they make her feel wanted and secure. Unfortunately, too, she has no control over the spirits and sometimes they completely overwhelm her.
Elias is a fallen angel, that's not to say that he is bad, he is far from it. He has spent the last year looking after Harper and during that time they have become attracted to each other, but have done nothing about the attraction. All that changes in this book and Harper's shadows aren't at all happy about it. They want to do all they can to convince her not to get involved with the angel. After all, he has the power to rid her of them for good if she would only ask.
What follows is a steamy romance, definitely, not for the under 18s, that is fraught with problems. Harper wants Elias in her life, but she doesn't want to lose her shadows, they help her, she just needs to show them that she is in control of them and not the other way around. But does she manage it, or will they convince her that she is better off without Elias?
This book definitely has the WOW factor, the romance was hot, the battle pretty much between good and evil was dramatic, but the ending, OMG, the ending. I can't even think about it without feeling a little emotional. How fantastic it is and is absolutely something I did not see coming. It is also very much an opening to future stories featuring the characters and I am very much looking forward to reading them.

Loved it so much! Harper truly became one of my Havenwood Falls favorite characters. I found her character to be intriguing, endearing, and simply kick ass when I read Ink & Fire. Reading about her in Dark Seduction was truly the icing on the cake. I also fell in love with Breckin and Vivi and of course, with Elias' intro when I read their HFH books. It only felt natural to look forward to this book.
While I might've expected a bit more action, I was not disappointed, not even a little bit. Seeing Harper grow even more in confidence and her magic simply made me admire the character even more...and that ending!!! Eeeeek! I simply cannot wait for more. Truly entertaining.

Very good story about Harper Sinclair and her friend (soon to be lover) Elias. So Harper is a conduit to the spirit world and she has a bunch of evil spirits from Hell attached to her. She likes them. they're her "family" and they make her feel powerful. Elias is an angel - fallen but not bad. He's spent his life on earth protecting people, and he's been protecting Harper for about a year now. Emotions are bubbling under the surface for these two and it's just a matter of time. But there's the problem of her demon spirits. They hate Elias and he isn't too fond of them. It's becoming something of a battlefield as they all fight over Harper. But what does Harper want?
I really liked this story and I loved the ending. It's a complete story but has an ending that promises more in the future.

Arc: Omg what can I say about Harper and Elias story. This book blew me away with all the emotions and they way it has unfolded. R.K Ryals and Michelle G. Miller wrote a beautiful story. The emotions and the story line didn’t disappoint and the twist is wow wow wow. This is such a amazing story. I really really love this one.

This is a continued story in the Havenwood Falls series about Harper Sinclair, a spiritual psychic, struggling with the darkness that longs to break free and consume her. She is surrounded by spirits only she and Fallen Angel Elias Jamison can see.
For Elias, Harper is the good and light in everything, she just needs to see it. He can hear the spirits as they try to influence Harper into doing things she wouldn’t normally do. Elias is pulled between his own self preservation and helping Harper hold the light and not give in to the darkness.
This is a great story with characters we have met in previous stories. I enjoyed the fast read and procession of events that build and as always, has a happy ending.

Hot, Sexy, and Exciting
You learn a lot about Harper and Elias in other books, but after you read this one certain pages will leave you panting. Reading some of this makes you want an Angel like Elias all to yourself.
The emotions run really high in this book and their are certain pages where you will gasp and maybe if you're like me you might even cry. Be warned that you will find excitement and maybe some fear.
Just like all couples they will have to go thru some trials and tribulations before they can become one. But will that be enough, can Harper learn control before it's too late?

Read this novella
This was the first book/novella I've read in the Havenwood Falls world and I must say... it will not be the last! I really enjoyed Dark Seduction and the chemistry between Harper and Elias. Plus, Desi. Desi is kind of my favorite! The steamy parts were plenty steamy, and the moments that showed their love and friendship for one another felt genuine and melted my heart a little bit. I would definitely recommend that people read this! I am really looking forward to going through the list of books in this series and reading them all eventually!

~3.5 stars~
This wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. With all the mentions of The Collector: Awakening: I really wish I would have read it first. It wasn't a deal breaker but it left me with more questions. I will be going back to read it, for sure.
This book was lacking something, I am not sure what but my interest wasn't there until the end. The ending was perfect and I can't wait to find out more!

I love them!
Harper is one of my FAVORITE characters in the series. Add on top of her attraction to hot angels and I am sold! Elias and Harper have an emotional story, that I am super excited about, got told. I am now going through book withdrawals after reading it. I can't wait for more!

I've read books where I have shed tears in the beginning, middle and towards the end. Never before has the last sentence in a book made me cry and fill me such much awe. Wonderment. Hope. Angst. Fear. Love. All these emotions and more.

The Havenwood Falls world has quickly become a comfort of mine and Dark Seduction is another great addition. The characters were unique and captivating. I devoured this entire novella in one sitting.

I have loved Harper since her first appearance in Havenwood Falls and have been waiting to see if she would get her happily ever after. Elias is a fallen angel and protector. Then there are her demon spirits and they don't like Elias at all.

Well!! Harper and Elias are something! There were a lot of facets to these two and I'm so glad that we got to know more about them. Ms. Miller and Ms. Ryals make a great writing team. It was an intense, packed full of surprises read. These two are scorching hot! Great job!
