I love this book! I'm not a nurse, I read this book because I work with many nurses who's self-care is sadly lacking and I wanted to understand how to help them. What I got, was a huge resource of stress management techniques, tips to build confidence and methods to improve not only nurses' lives but my own. This small, easy to read book can help all of us to live happier and healthier lives!
On my first read, I was a little overwhelmed by the effort I would have to make to feel better, but as I continued, it all made such perfect sense that I knew I couldn't not give it a go! I'm now on a second read, working on Terry Maluk's very clear action points step by step, and it's not hard at all, in fact, it's getting easier as I go along.
