This is the Cloud Atlas Sextet as it is described in the book. There are six different stories we read half of as they go from the past to the future and then are finished as we come back from the future and into the past. I really connected with four of the stories and came to dislike the narrator of two of the stories. I must admit I listened to this book as I was driving back and forth to work each day and my like or dislike may be influenced by the narration, but the characters themselves are what turned me off to their part of the storyline.
Reading this book was a unique experience. The first half was great. Each separate story had me interested and invested. Then it went off the rails and never found its way back. It ended up being a disappointment.
