The final battle lines have been drawn, and the end is nigh. Radical groups converge to spread Zero Hour 2.0, the virus that will wipe out all remaining survivors in the United States. Marcus and his companions stand as the lone means to stop the aggressors, but their sacrifices have been great and their strength is waning as they face the enemy once more.
Zero Hour is a 6-part novel-length post-apocalyptic survival thriller series that asks one simple question: do you have what it takes to survive? The story follows the unleashing of a bio-weapon on an unsuspecting American populace, killing hundreds of millions in the blink of an eye.
This post-apocalyptic thriller is written as a collaboration between Justin Bell and #1 bestselling post-apocalyptic author Mike Kraus. Zero Hour is a gripping post-apoc thrill ride that takes a unique look at the post-apocalyptic genre and will leave you breathless with every turn of the page. Filled with intense, heart-pumping action, this series will be released at a rate of approximately one book per month.
Really glad to see the nasty Russias got what was coming to them. But would like to find out what happened afterwards. Here's hoping for an off shoot series
First of all, I truly enjoyed this series. Great characters, lots of action, twists, and surprises. Many plots to keep the reader interested. Well worth the time to read.
Having said hat, I have some questions for the authors:
1. With the vast majority of the population gone, why are there shortages of anything? Presumably, the stores are still stocked with canned goods. Gun stores have lots of guns, ammunition, and other weapons and supplies. Gas stations and suppliers have lots of fuel.
2. Having worked in the electrical generation industry for over 40 years, I can guarantee the power grid cannot be sustained if all the plant operators are gone. The system will crash like a row of dominoes. Of course, there will be plenty of fuel for emergency generators. There will even be pressurized natural gas, for a while.
Many will not know how to make use of these resources. Others will resort to violence, panic, and greed, so chaos will naturally follow, which is, of course the ultimate theme of the genre.
Again, I enjoyed the series. It was a fun ride and worthy of sequels.
This is an incredible tale of the United States being brought to her knees by a virulent virus released by a foreign enemy. It follows a small group of military and civilians that come together by chance. They work together to survive against many hardships. I loved each character and hated for the story to end. A must read!
The story is right out of our headlines unfortunately
Little did I realize that when I started reading book series that the world would begin to fight the Wuhan virus! What can I say.... It was painful but knowing the strength of the characters in the book as is the strength in the American spirit I finished one of the best series I have read yet....thanks Mike and Justin...
I really don't know what to say at this point. I am very excited that the survivors were not killed. I hope you will continue to keep writing about them as I am sure that you will continue to find ways to keep their story going. Great job.
Enjoyed this series of books. Was a little hard at times to keep going but made it to the final word and was glad I did. Enjoyed the ending as I didn't see it coming. Thanks gentlemen for this see as it was enjoyable to read.
This final book was a terrific ending to what has been a great series. I like that the humanity in most of us was a weapon that was stronger than the engineered virus.
this series kept the heart pumping. saddly it ended and there were still so much more writer could have tol about this ragtail group that is why a 4 instead of a 5. great setup for a spinoff series!
