*******Huge Spoilers Ahead*******

Phew.. I’m so glad I’m done with this shit. If you want a very predictable story with a pathetic woman with a huge disgusting pig of a manwhore hero then look no further this is the perfect book if that’s what you’re looking or into.

Every time I read this author’s books I want to bitch slap someone. Preferably me because no one puts a gun to my head to make me read these books.

It’s funny how the heroine went from someone who cheated on her and made her the OW without her knowledge to a HUGE manwhore who has slept with almost everyone in the hospital. It was normal for him and his best friend to sleep with all of their coworkers.
Hero’s best friend got a nurse from the hospital pregnant and he didn’t want to become a father. And of course he tried to blame his baby mama because she told him that she was on the pill and he didn’t wear a condom.

description

Hero wasn’t any better either. This hero was a disgusting pig, narcissistic, arrogant and disrespectful towards women. He really didn’t see anything wrong with sleeping with these many women at all.

It also doesn’t say anything good about the heroine when she degraded herself by sleeping with him. I’m sorry but come on woman, you’re a professional woman who had one rule and one rule alone, “not to sleep with your coworkers” but on the first day of starting her job what does she do? Yep, sleep with said manwhore of course she already had a ons before knowing he was a doctor from the same hospital that she started working. Everyone was telling her to stay away from him and she said that people doesn’t have to worry about her. Yeah right!! And then she gets jealous and hurt because she saw him in a passionate kiss with his resident in one of the hospital’s rooms. I wanted to bitch slap the heroine. Calling his OWs his whores when he basically has treated her like them. Sorry I don’t slut shame any woman. But when she doesn’t care that this man is sleeping with everything that walks and then she calls them whores but that’s exactly what she has become one of his whores. And it’s pathetic because she left her boyfriend because he made her the other woman (he was married) but here she is sleeping with another cheater and a huge walking std manwhore. For being a smart woman she sure is dumb Asf.

"You’re all pissed off about Rebecca. In fact, you’re jealous.” He pointed them his finger at me. “Me and you, we aren’t a couple or anything. So you have no right to be upset.”

And if you’re wondering if he has been faithful to the heroine after he kissed his resident? Then the answer is no, he slept with a woman after the heroine told him that she wouldn’t be his whore like his OWs. You might not consider this cheating but I do especially after how clingy and how he has chased her and not because he wants a relationship with her but because he wants to get her his bed again. And even after knowing this the heroine still dropped her panties for him again after saying again and again that she wouldn’t sleep with him anymore.

They go to Vegas and they get drunk they don’t even remember if they had sex without condoms and they got married. He doesn’t want to be married to anyone and just the thought of him being married to her or anyone made him sick to his stomach. When she told him that they had gotten married the same day it was her birthday and the same day her parents had died he practically blamed her and told her that it’s better if they both go their separate ways and they couldn’t even be friends after that. No more friendly conversations or sex. They would get the marriage annulled and that’s about it. Of course the poor sap of the heroine felt hurt when he told her this.

It was ridiculous how the heroine would always tried to go somewhere and of out of nowhere accidents and shootings would happen right in front of her. It was like the author wanted to reminds us that she was a good at saving people lives outside the hospital. Btw nothing like this would ever happen to the hero.

You know that movie with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz where they get married and Vegas because they were also drunk? They go to court to have it annulled and the judge declines their petition? Well the author took it right out of that movie. The female and male lead hated each other but they made work they moved in together because I’m sure that judge ordered them to move in together. Well this was just like this too. Judge declined their petition, gave them six months and ordered them to moved in together.

Makes me wonder if author was watching this movie when she got the idea of writing this book?

Hero would have sex with someone if the women in the hospital weren’t whispering about them. He called the heroine a cock blocker because he hadn’t had sex with anyone for 2 weeks.
Poor sap of heroine let hero treat her like shit. He would scream at her in front of people. Just because his mother has schizophrenia he has not reason to treat someone like that.
I honestly don’t know what she saw him.

Of course the book needed to have side plot holes it wouldn’t be complete without them in it. Hero’s mother what happened to her after she was seen by him and the heroine and left the hospital? Or hero’s father? After hero did surgery on him for a tumor on his brain? Or or what about the heroine’s ex? After he was seen by her and hero in the hospital after he got into a car accident with his wife? Or hero’s best friend? Did he became a father to that poor child? Did he continue whoring himself out just like hero told him to do? And let’s not forget how both of them behaved screaming at each other in front of their colleagues and patients. If that were IRL they would have been fired on the spot. Their boss acted like a busybody meddling in their business.

When it was time to go back to court he asked the judge for the annulment, the heroine didn’t want it. She was hurt again and to be honest she spent the whole book being hurt by the man what did she expected from him? To be there with flowers asking her to love him?
He said that he did it because he didn’t want them to be married anymore because of the way it happened and he needed her to move out because he had to make sure he didn’t grow comfortable with her. Only when she was shot and knocking on death’s doors he realized that he loved her. That he had always loved her, he fought his feelings and wanted them to be buried.... inside a woman’s legs and mouth?

Where do I start...hero was a bit of an ass okay okay a complete ass, the girl bolts whenever she faces any trouble, but I absolutely loved the medical jargon. I felt like I'm watching one of the episodes of ER or Grey's Anatomy. Overall it was an okay one for me.

Polecam.

I wanted to give this a higher rating

But I just can't. The story was okay. In fact, it's one of my favorite tropes. The writing was okay. Here's the problem. I didn't like these people. The H is a jerk. A disrespectful, self-absorbed, nasty man. And he stays that way until the last 3 chapters. The h is not much better. Yes, there is a HEA, but by then I wasn't sure either of them deserved it. Neither of them made any real effort to get there. There never was any real communication between them. The resolution just kind of fell out of the circumstances. Not very satisfying. On top of that, several subplots were left unresolved. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend this book.

Redemption and Beautiful Healing Love

Fantastic read and my favorite in this series! Even though this is book 3 in the series, each book can be read as a stand-alone. Both Jamieson and Grace had pasts that haunted them everyday, my heart hurt for each of them and my emotions took a beating; but I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The author did an amazing job and this is a must read!

Emotional roller coaster!!

This is the second book in this fascinating series and this is Grace and Jamieson's story.
This is a well written story which has engaging and realistic characters, , witty banter, intrigue, challenges, heartbreak, loss, grief, healing, emotions, and love which all leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This book is so wonderful, romantic and very emotional. Jamieson peeked my curiosity in The Interview: New York & Los Angeles(another excellent five star book) and I’m so glad Ms. Lynn wrote his story. Jamieson and Grace’s story is absolutely amazing and it’s filled with so much depth, angst and I felt a roller coaster of emotions while reading it. I highly recommend reading this well written book.

Disappointed

Being a big Sandi Lynn fan, I found the writing of this book lacking. Too much of it was poorly written or the story line not executed well. Also, a huge peeve of mine is the appearance of a strong female lead only to have her give in to the male lead because he is just too irresistable !! Please!! If she is strong and independent, let her walk that out in all aspects. If she's wrong about something, fine. I would have more respect for that type of character.

I liked the story and the hospital ER/Trauma center setup.

I didnt like the hero or heroine. They both were geniuses and best in their fields. H was neurologist and h was trauma surgeon. They acted like children most of the time.

I dont know if I would classify hero sleeping with other women after his first two times with the heroine as cheating or not. They were not in any kind of relationship for sure. Heroine was hurt but she knew the score so there is that. He was not a likable character for sure. I really wanted to like him though.

Yes they both had issues. Heroine was the other woman in another relationship for a year but didnt know about it. I felt really bad for her. The Man she was involved with a complete douche bag. He was married and didnt tell his wife even after everything came out. The wife was so loving and caring and I felt bad for her that she didnt know about her cheating husband and was so much in love with him.

Heroine really had the backbone in both the relationship. She really really tried to cut off with the him after everything came out and moved to a different city. But luck had it that she ended up having sex with our hero on the night she moved to the different city. And luck had it that they both worked in the same hosptial. Well there was a lot of push and pull... and somehow they ended up getting married. Here I found myself so angry. They are in their mid thirties and they are so drunk that they dont know their actions. That really makes me upset that these grownup people out their are getting so drunk that they end up making bad decisions. THey are not children anymore that they cannot control themselves. I was so happy when the judge refused the annulment and said that they both were irresponsible and they have to face the consequences of their actions. Well done for her. She mandated that they have to stay married 6 months and then can apply for annulment again.

Anyway they were rude to each other often especially the hero. Heroine ended up leaving him a few times but he appologized and brought her back to their home. They ended up developing feeling for each other during next six months. There is a lot of medical things going on which I loved. But then hero broke heroine's heart once again when he really went through with the divorce because he wanted to test himself and his feelings. The reason being the circumstances of their marriage (drunk in Las vagas) was not really an ideal situation. I kind of bought it but I felt so annoyed with him that I didnt wnat to give him benefit of doubt. Heroine ends up getting hurt while she was trying to help an innocent bystander in a shooting (she lives in a area where these kind of incidences were very common). Hero was already trying to reach out to her by that time but she was on personal time off so he couldnt get to her. He operated on her, heroine didnt want to talk to him (kuddos to her) but when he explained his reasons she forgave him. It was well written.

Nice epilogue too.
I really liked the medical setup.

Absolutely loved!!

I would have given this more than 5 stars if I could, this book was awesome. From the first chapter, I was hooked. I didn't put down my Kindle until I finished reading the whole story.

Dr. Jamieson Finn is a renowned neurosurgeon. On his last night in NYC for a medical conference, he meets a beautiful, blonde woman in a bar. Dr. Grace Harper, a trauma surgeon, is starting her new life the following day. So when the handsome stranger buys her a drink and asks if she wants to leave the bar with him, she goes. After some amazing sex, Grace leaves his hotel room never expecting to see him again.

Two days later, she shows up at her new job, the same hospital in L.A. that Dr. Finn works in. Both are shocked to see each other again. Grace quickly learns that he's a manwhore, having slept with most of the nurses and residents in the hospital. Grace left NYC because of a betrayal of her boyfriend, the last thing she needs is to get involved with Dr. Finn.

Dr. Finn is emotionally closed off. He sleeps with women but wants no strings or any type of relationship with them. But he wants to get Grace back into his bed again more than anything. Grace has one rule she won't break, sleeping with co-workers.

When both doctors attend a medical conference in Vegas, they get stupid drunk. Waking up the following morning wearing wedding bands. When they get back to L.A. for an annulment, the judge orders them to live together for 6 months as punishment for their rash behavior for taking something sacred like vows as a joke.

Grace hates living with the moody Dr. Finn. But soon they both let down their walls and share their secrets with each other. When their 6 months are up, Grace has fallen in love with Jamieson, but she won't say anything to him about it. Believing that he feels the same way. But when they show up in court, Finn wants the annulment, shocking Grace.

She takes some personal time off of work to figure out what to do next. That's when he realizes that he can't live without her. When Grace is out grocery shopping, a robbery happens in the store, ending up with a shooting, Grace tries to help out and gets shot.

Will Finn lose the one woman he's ever loved without telling her?

A must read!!

Simply the best

Omg this book is so powerful have to say the best in the Redemption series. Sandi it was outstanding.

Jamison is a top neurosurgeon in Los Angeles and he was in New York doing surgery. He was sitting in a bar between two people having an off day. He got his last drink of the night when the girl next to him was extremely drunk so he put her in a cab home when he arrived back he sees someone sitting in his seat. She introduced herself as Grace and said she was having a bad night and come tomorrow she will be starting her life over. That night Jamison and Grace went back to his hotel room for some fun but at 11:45 she let to start over.

Grace is a trauma surgeon from New York and is starting her life in a different state due to a break up from her cheating boyfriend Sam. Who she discovered he was married by a text message he received.

On her first day in the hospital Grace came face to face with the guy she had a one night stand with he turned out to be no other than Jamison Finn.

He was harbouring a secret that nobody knew only the head of the hospital. She told Jamison to stay away from Grace as she know what his reputation was. Grace too had her reasons why she didn't want to be in Los Angeles as she lost her mum and dad in a car accident when she was 10 and it was her birthday the same day.

Their was a convention in Las Vagas on her birthday and in order to not think about it her plan was to get drunk. On that drunken night she and Jamison got married. Only to discover it next morning. They put in for an annulment but the judge denied them saying marriage is a sacrament between a man and woman. The judge didn't grand them the annulment but ordered them to live together for six months. In that time they fought a good deal but as time went on they began to see the true meaning of love. I took for tragedy to happen to realize how much they meant for one another.

I loved this book from cover to cover and a book I would read over and over again. Sandi has done an amazing job and I can't wait for more amazing books.

I was looking at a list of books about doctor romances. I liked the KU cover on the one with guy in scrubs I read better than “the naked torso” one (as my friend calls them,) here on GR.

This is my first book by this author. I was very much into the first 40% of the story. Something happens midway in that feels over the top ridiculous. The unrealistic events just keep coming after that. I made a decision to just accept that this is fiction and the author can make liberal choices with events. With that exception in mind, I did enjoy the story. Loved the ending with jumps into the future.

Update: Now I’m reading SIX OF A KIND and didn’t realize it by the same author but it’s almost a boilerplate version of Jamieson’s and Grace’s story. If this were any other author, she could totally accuse this writer of plagiarism but I guess you can’t do that to yourself! Then it’s creative cookie cutting.

Cute but predictable

I like Sandi' writing, but it seems that the lady always has a traumatic event in her childhood, loss of parents(s) in an accident. I've read that incident more then once in her books. The man in question is always an arrogant billionaire, who screws women because he wants to get off. Then he meets "the one" . I love it. Since they're charming stories with that ahhh moment, I keep reading. I recommend her books if you need a heartwarming change of pace.

Jamison and Grace were a well matched pair, both with baggage. I loved the morning they woke up from their drunk and discovered they were married. That was good, and I didn't see that coming. Quite the surprise, then the judge denying their annulment and ordering Grace to move into his beach house, what a hoot! I'd recommend this book just for that alone.

But she needed a restart so she was leaving New York and moving to Los Angeles. It was her last night in New York Met Dr. Finn in town on Business at a bar. what tv show did this come from?

The only reason I read this ridiculous book was that I bought it and feared I couldn’t get my money back. Two arrogant doctors who apparently were the only capable ones at the hospital. The book sounded like an imaginary medical show with all the drama the author could dream up. I won’t even comment on the medical errors. This couple, tearful but smart Grace and manwhore Jamieson worked it out sexually thru the whole book, no romance, then the author introduced marriage- really?? Then there’s the judge….I better stop in case someone else want major drama. Then stick in HEA too late. I’ve read this author before and enjoyed her work, maybe she had a ghost writer this time .

Jamieson Finn is book 3 in the Redemption Series by Sandi Lynn, but is a standalone book. I couldn’t put this book down. This book has the pages smoking almost from the beginning! Jamieson is a smart, hot, womanizing doctor who lives for his work. This brilliant neurosurgeon is all about the fling with no strings. That was fine and dandy until Grace came into his life. There’s no getting around this smart, sexy trauma surgeon. Grace was done with men and wanted to start new. Only her fresh start brought her back to a past she can never forget. Watching these two battle back and forth is hot! You will hate and love Jamieson at the same time, but the series is aptly named! 5 fantastic stars!!

This book to me was a take on a medical drama show. I thought that Jamieson was a total jerk but I guess that is why he is part of the redemption series. Jamieson had some serious issues that he needed to come to turns with/workout to help open himself up to a relationship and love. Grace is fresh out a bad breakup and decides to run away to Los Angeles the place that hold some tragic memories for her. I will say that I wish Jaimeson would have stopped being a jerk sooner but overall quick easy story.

A sexy neuro surgeon…yes please. Even though Jamieson Finn was kind of an arrogant a** to begin with there was just something about him, when his caring and loving side came out. Grace Harper had a hard life and wasn’t looking for a guy like Jamieson, but they just worked. Together they brought out the best in each other and together they both realized what love means, even if it took them getting drunk married in Vegas and a judge that wanted to give them a consequence to make them realize their true feelings for each other.

Soooo I had a love/hate thing for this book. Again like with book 1, Jamieson was a huge dick! How could someone as sweet as Grace have ended up with him? But as i read along, I understood why he was the way he was. His childhood was crap.....I get it, but that doesn’t mean follow in those footsteps......but I’ve come to the conclusion that Jamieson needed Grace. In a bad way and for existence in general.
It’s a book I love to hate. Exceptional.

Jamiesons Finn

An extraordinary story about two very gift, intellectual students/ Doctors, unexpectedly meet, never expecting to see each other again. The emotion, chemistry, between them, just amazing, yet neither are ready for a relationship. Read on to see where Grace and Jamieson's future as doctors take them, and if either can move on from issues in their past, to consider something else???💖 Loved this journey of theirs.

Mind blown 🤯 this has been the best book I’ve read this far this year.. this book deserves 100 ✨!! This book will make you laugh, cry, and get sooo freaking mad at Dr. Finn.. Grace was such a strong woman that had been through hell and back and I loved how strong she was and how beautiful and kind she was.. all the ER trauma and drama was just icing on a beautiful cake!

I real page turner

Sandi Lynn has written an emotional and heart stopping story with this book. The supporting characters are amazing. Jamieson and Grace have endless issues to work through and each is stubborn as they do. Their personal stories may stand in the way but they truly love each other, they just have face traumas to get there. I stayed awake late at night because I couldn't stop reading.

Overall I enjoyed this quick and fun read. Both characters have major issues from childhood that they both have to face and overcome. In the end, they do. I also enjoyed the medical setting in this book. However, the lumbar spine only has five vertebrae, not six. So when the patient had a crushed L-6, I was hoping that was a typo. Blame my radiography background. Based on a what a reader is looking for, I would recommend.

I can't believe I actually finished this book. He was a total piece of shit that was not warranted. She was a doormat. There was nothing original and it took medical liberties a little too far. Every patient had a brain bleed and a descended abdomen. They made a paralyzed 16yo walk again. She saved the day every time she got in the car or went to store because someone got shot or run over in front of her every day. Once they "opened up" to each other everything was perfect.
