The road to love can be a bumpy ride… Juliet’s got a job that most women would die for, she runs a column and video blog for a food magazine. But while everything else might seem rosy in her world, her love life is woefully non-existent. When she finds a discarded jewelry box, things start to happen with a strange twist of luck. An old friend invites her on a last-minute bachelorette party tour, an all-expenses-paid motorcycle trip along Italy’s romantic Amalfi Coast. It could be just another one of those strange coincidences that keep happening, but Juliet is thrilled to tag along for the ride. When she meets Leoni, the gorgeous Italian motorcycle racer, Juliet starts to question a lot more than her luck. But fate still has a few tricks up its sleeve and Juliet finds herself cruising a bumpy road. Can she capture the love she’s always been after or is she heading for a crash course with destiny?
Sure, I do other stuff but mostly I’m a writer. I get up early in the morning and work at my kitchen table with a steaming hot cup of tea. Sometimes I listen to brain.fm to help me focus. Sometimes I use a timer and write in sprints. Sometimes I don’t do any of that and listen to the chatter of the birds in my back yard while I dive into a scene. Whatever I do, I sit my ass in the chair every day and write. I have a wife. She’s the inspiration for all of my sexy heroines. She’s the crème de la crème. She’s my favorite love story. She’s my queen. I’m also a mother. I have a son that I adore more than anything in the world. He’s the best thing I ever did, by far, and his amazing sense of fun and adventure keeps me wanting to explore. I’m a musician. I used to play in a band. I’m a computer geek, I love cooking, tasting delicious craft beers and being outside. I love where I live, on the beautiful West Coast of Canada where it’s temperate in all sorts of ways. Giselle Fox is my pen name. Having a pen name puts a little separation between real life and fiction. And since my stories are always spicy, that separation is a good thing. Giselle is the creative part of me. She gets me out of bed every morning, she cracks the whip when I want to flake out on the couch and watch Netflix. She makes me pay attention to people and circumstances and ask questions so I can write. Having an alter ego is great. You should try it, if you haven’t already.
5 Stars - Lovely, fun, steamy, exciting story. Will 100% be re-reading. KU.
I feel like Stefon from SNL Weekend Update right now. "This book has everything! Plucky, likable, up for anything Juliette. Super-hot Italian MotoGT racer Leoni. Beautiful scenery of the Amalfi coast in Italy. Luxury travel and locations. A bit of intrigue. Perhaps a bit of magic? A lovely (if quick) burn. Lots of steamy seggsy times. An exciting motorcycle race. And a very satisfying finish. “
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Giselle Fox is quickly becoming a must read author for me.
Giselle Fox is one of my fave, go to authors. She excels at creating chemistry and showing vulnerability. I always think her MCs are so full of adorable flaws! So, this was another really good romance with some twists to add dimension. And made even more enjoyable finding it on Kindle Unlimited!!
I always enjoy reading Giselle Fox’ stories so when I saw this on KU it made my day. true to my expectations this one is another home-run. Another fun read. The motorcycle enthusiast in me really enjoyed it. Like her previous novels, the sexy naughty scenes were well written, less boldness this time but still good. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Juliet takes a trip to Italy for her friends bachelorette fun week and meets Leoni, a gorgeous Italian motorcycle racer. There were some LOL funny parts when Juiet's friends try to prove to her that Leoni is attracted to her. There are also some really hot parts when Leoni shows Juliet just how attracted she is.
LOVED this book. This one will definitely be on my re-read list.
I just finished it so I'm still with the happy emotions that lingers with the end of this book but this story was just incredible. It was funny and all the characters were so great well except Dominic but they each gave that little something more to the book that made it so great. Mik and Fabrizio were two of my favorite characters besides our MCs but even Francesca and Mik's group of friends were interesting characters. Not my first from this author and certainly won't be my last, the writing just works for me. I recommend this book and I can say it's one of my favorite
There is so much good to say about this book. Some of it would be spoilers, so I won't. But I love how they came together. Just beautiful.
One exciting part was that the formerly-straight woman's straight friends were so supportive of her pursuing a romance with another woman. That's the way it *should* be - assuming, of course, that they would also enthusiastically support it, were it a man she was pursuing.
This keeps coming up first in my recommendations. I wonder why? Ok let's see. Amalfi coast - nice. Gorgeous female motorcyclist - nice too. A bumpy ride - mmm...
I've really liked the other books of Giselle Fox's that I've read, but this one was just phenomenal. I started out thinking the series of events that kick off the story were a little too unbelievable, but soon I realized that that was the point. There's a thread of luck and fate and weird coincidences that runs through the whole novel. It was very appealing and everything came back around and was tied up nicely at the end, which is something I really like in a story.
The setting was utterly gorgeous; Giselle Fox must really love Italy :) I could practically feel the hot weather and taste the food and smell the gardens, and it was just very satisfying. The romance between Juliet and Leoni is beautiful, well-paced, and free from drama. The only thing that brought me out of the story occasionally were some really weird euphemisms during the sex scenes, but otherwise, the writing was very good. And the end was so, so romantic. It was a real happy ending to daydream about.
This is my first time reading a Giselle Fox book and I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the storyline , the supporting characters, the chemistry between the main characters, the setting and the hot sensual sex (the sex was explicit, just very sensual). 5 stars!
What an adventure this turned out to to be! When Juliet finds magical rock that gives no option but to find her purpose and destiny. When she gets off course the Universe is there to remind her (in not so gentle ways) to get back on course. The relationship between Juliet and Leoni begins while they both partake in this amazing journey that is all business for Leoni. The tides soon change when these two connect and begin to spend more time with one another. It's confusing for the both of them. Juliet is discovering new desires while Leoni is trying to to remain professional. This sensual and passionate connection cannot and will not be denied. I liked the fact that there are several concurrent storylines in this book. The second part of Leoni's destiny can only begin once Juliet's is complete. Each woman plays a defining role in the other's destiny and they must be on the same page in order to see it through. I loved this book and definitely recommend it.
This was a pleasurable read. Juliet and Leoni are sweet and sexy together. I appreciated that Juliet's (straight) friends encouraged Juliet to pursue something with Leoni and I liked Juliet's openness about considering it. She's guileless in their relationship and just goes with her heart. Aside from the potential long-distance aspect to their relationship, it was devoid of obstacles, which are typically a necessity in a romance. To that end, and given that it takes place in Italy, it reminded me of Letters to Cupid by Miranda MacLeod, which I also enjoyed despite the lack of obstacles. This is a perfect lazy Sunday read.
I enjoyed Giselle Fox’s latest book, Falling for Lucky, immensely.
I loved the way that the areas in the United States and Italy were described which enabled me to see the beauty of the different locations. I’ve never been to Italy, but upon reading this story, I feel like I just returned from a wonderful trip there. I really enjoyed the two main characters and their love scenes were hot. I recommend this book to anyone that loves a great love story that also has a lot of other things happening throughout.
As much as I love books by Giselle Fox, this was not my favourite :( Some scenes felt a little rushed to me, and I didn't like the fact that I had no idea what Juliet looked like, there was no description of her what so ever. Was she blond or redhead, blue eyes or green. I am visual reader so I like to imagine the characters in my head and I only knew what Leoni looked like and it iritated me a little. But overall a nice book, I would recomend to everyone who enjoys low angst romance.
I have read a number of the authors books and this one was a little disappointing. There were a number of spelling and grammatical error which I found irritating. The pace in the beginning was stilted and did not flow. The middle and later parts were better which is why I went from 3 to 4 stars.
I love this book. Just like all the books by Ms.Fox, it was sexy as hell, but this book's description blew me away. I felt like I was in Italy. Ms.Fox was able to make me feel with all my senses with her discriptive words.
I just love this author so much. Like her other books this one has hot ladies and strong well planned storylines. I especially loved the motorbike element and the descriptions of Italy. Thanks Giselle, please write another book soon.
Although I've never visited Italy, the descriptions of the Italian countryside, food, beaches, and people certainly made me want to visit. The book is a fairytale with strong female characters guided by love and possibly fate. 5 stars.
ANOTHER SUCCESS!😍 I read all of the Claire and the Lady Billionaire series . And this single novel had plenty of romance and drama . I really enjoyed all the background information on the trip . This was a wonderfully entertaining novel !😍
This story had everything I love in a book , mystery , friendship, travel ,excitement but most of all true love with passion and courage and the best a happily ever after, loved it!
This is a very well written book with characters that draw you into their lives. Mix a bit of glitz and glamour, some beautiful Italian scenery, a dash of bad luck, fast motorcycles, and 2 beautiful women, and you discover a book meant for your must read list.
This book is a very enjoyable read. This book is like taking a tour thru Italy learn about the food and some about the beauty of Italy's country side. The romance was very good. Thanks
A fun, fast paced ride along with Juliet, Leoni, some friends and a film crew. I laughed a lot, and really enjoyed the romance. Giselle, even when the falling in love bit happens over a short period of time, you really sell it. Highly recommend.
I don't often give 5 stars to a book but this one was a no brainer for me. It's a wonderful story, filled with love, romance and a sprinkling of intrigue. Loved it!!
I absolutely adored this. It was great. It pulled me in from the start and I couldn't wait to see what happened. I couldn't put it down until I finished :)
