From writer Rob Williams and a talented group of comics' top illustrators comes Suicide Squad: The Rebirth Deluxe Edition Book 3, collecting issues #21-32.
The Suicide Squad books have been extremely entertaining over the years since adding Harley Quinn to the team. This collection is no different. It's funny as I struggle to get through her books but just adding some quality villains to the fold and she reads as a great character. Maybe she just needs someone to bounce her crazy off of.
The first have of this book is a fun read as the team tries to stop Amanda from destroying all the capes in the world. Then there is a one-issue Dark Metal story, which by itself doesn't make a ton of sense but is still a good read with amazing art. I suggest you read the Dark Metal collection just to see the Batman who Laughs...
The second half of the book is kind of a shrug. We see some more back story on the original Task Force-X and Argent. All of it feels forced and simply a way to bring back Rick Flagg. Also, the ending with Croc and the Enchantress is unnecessary.

A fine conclusion to the storyline though I felt it was missing a bit something. I've never been a fan of comics set in space. It was always a bit silly to me (weird thing to say about a comic where it is expected to suspend disbelief but what can I say). As always, Harley Quinn is the most interesting character of the bunch. Amazing to me that Batman the Animated Series could birth such a compelling character, especially since she could have easily been written off as a one note joke.
