Marry Me is a 25,000 word novella that continues the story of Lia McIntyre and Jonah Locke, first introduced on Broken. Fans of the McIntyre Security Bodyguard Series will enjoy this continuation of Lia's and Jonah's story. Cameo appearances by other popular characters in this series are included.

Lia McIntyre

Lia's been with Jonah for nearly two years now. She loves her rock star boyfriend with a heart of gold. But deep down, she struggles with insecurity. She knows Jonah wants more with her, but she's afraid she can't live up to his expectations. And she thinks it's only a matter of time before he figures that out for himself.

Jonah Locke

Ever since leaving L.A. and his lucrative recording contract, Jonah Locke is thriving as an independent singer/songwriter. He's more popular than ever. He's living his dream, except for one small part. He wants to marry Lia. But every time he asks, she changes the subject. What's it going to take to get her to realize he's for real?

Yin and Yang

Lia and Jonah are perfect together. I love how Jonah challenges her, but doesn't push her too hard. He builds her up in the best way possible, the way a lover should. This story continues their journey where Jonah has to slowly try to convince Lia he wants to be her happily ever after since her trust has always been shattered and she worries she's not enough for him, and also on their journey to get out of the public eye and buy a home. We get sneak peeks from Beth, Shane, Annie, Jake, Aiden, Cooper, and Sam too ❤ my heart is full. 5 amazing stars

How can you not love him. From his first introduction he is straight forward and doesn't mess around when it comes to his feelings. He and Lia are perfect, and getting little up dates on the other couples always makes me smile. I truly hope there are many many more book to come. Thank you April!!!

Jonah rocks

Who knew Jonah could breakdown more of Lia’s barriers? Jonah did ☺️. Absolutely amazing. Couldn’t put it down and laughed so hard at the threat Lia made to the ex-manager.

Not a standalone - meant to be read in order and after Jake and Annie's story. Wonderful catch up with Lia and Jonah! Lia has always been a favorite character of mine, happy to see her slaying her demons and living her best life.

Great addition! Loved this quick, little story. Jonah and Lia are complicated, but this seemed to add some depth to their relationship. It was too short! I can’t wait for more of their story.

Lia and Jonah’s story continues and boy is it a great one!! Lia and Jonah met through her other brothers security firm when Jonah had to have a bodyguard (he is a popular singer). They fell in love and she is technically his “bodyguard” (which he hates that she has to put herself in danger for him) but it works. She is a total badass. They have been together for 2 years and he wants to marry her. He has asked repeatedly and she tells him no. She had been burned in the past and had many doubts due to that betrayal. By the end of the story, Jonah gets what he wants and more. It does have the old characters still as part of the plot. So you catch up with old friends, as well as continue with Lia and Jonah.

I absolutely love this series so much. It had all the good feelings, along with all the sexy steamy parts. It is best read if starting with Vulnerable, but can be read as a stand-alone. April Wilson makes her stories hit so close to home. Plus, there always a “until next time” with her. She shows her passion for writing through her books. I love Lia and Jonah because Jonah fills in for all of Lia’s insecurities. It’s a feel good read for sure. I highly recommend this series to anyone!!

After reading this book, I feel like the story will continue and can’t wait for a wedding novella for this power couple. You should buy this series today and start the obsession!

I have such a fondness for Lia McIntyre. But, also get extremely frustrated with her, too. I get that her A-hole ex stole something from her, and was careless with her feelings, too. However, they have been together for two years, and Jonah Locke has been steadfast and true. In her head, she wants him to be with her forever, yet she has a problem committing. Jonah is nothing like your typical ‘rockstar’ as Lia teases him.

Jonah knows what he wants, and it's her. He likes her. The way she challenges him, her bravery, she’s a take-no-prisoners kind of woman. And yet, she can be so quiet, vulnerable, soft, yet, fierce. In a nutshell, she is a dichotomy. What you see, is not what, Jonah gets behind closed doors. So, is that why he would ask her to marry him, seven times? And, each time he allowed her to change the subject?

His fans are growing in numbers as his hits are topping the charts. After two recent close calls buying a house seems even more of an agenda. To put a recording studio inside the house for him. Giving them both more time in their day. Yet, when it becomes more of a solid plan the faster she wants to run. See how these two meet in the middle. Fun to see, Jonah pin, Lia down to get answers.

I love how well suited Lia and Jonah are.Lia is an amazing bodyguard I wish she was my sister with all her strength I don't think I'd have any problems if Lia was around that's for sure.Jonah and Lia have been together for 2 years.Lia seems weary about relationships and getting involved with men as if she's shy or doesn't trust them I'm so happy and wish I could go and celebrate their engagement I feel like Alice in Wonderland where I'm trapped into Aprils books and am a big part of getting involved.Lias brother Shane has brought a development where most of the family are moving to and Lia and Jonah decide to move to the development so Jonah will get some privacy without all the fan girls taking photos and trying to get close to him.i seriously can't wait to read the rest of the series but I'm so sad that soon this beautiful series will be over

Lia: Short, Sassy & Sweet..... So Sorted !

I pre-order April Wilson's books whenever I see them advertised, am slowly increasing my paperback collection to equal my Kindle store and tried my best to not read it straight away, until I had a clear enough time to savour the story.
This story was so beautifully set out and the characters' feelings described so well, it didn't 'feel' like a novella at all.
It certainly will tied me over until my next re-read is complete, then more McIntyre Goodies in the works ........
So no pressure April Wilson !!
Definitely, wholeheartedly recommended xx

Brilliant!

I've never read a series of books with all the characters lives entwined which has kept me so gripped. I love the innovative plots and the depth of these characters, you can't help but warm to them and as you come to the end of one you can't wait to start the next. I've spent many a time reading well into the night because I wanted to get to the end and see where it went. The connection between all the siblings and the partners as they come in is very warming to the heart. I cannot recommend this series enough. It's very well written and thought out, spectacular! Well done April! xx

Love this book. Love the second installment of Lia and Jonah’s romance story. This is a short story about Lia and Jonah. This book starts with Jonah and Lia in the recording studio. While they are there, fans get word and ended up blocking the entrance way. Jonah tells Lia that they need to talk, which makes Lia scared. Jonah tells Lia that Jake, Annie, and Aiden are moving into a house in a gated community and there’s a house across the street. Lia agrees to look at the house. While they are in the gated community, Lia learns that Shane bought the whole community from the developers. Lia finally agrees to buy the house with Jonah. Love this short story about Lia and Jonah. Worth the read

Cute

Jonah and Lia. A quick novella checking in with them by default some of the other McIntyre family members. The family subdivision was interesting and somewhat genius and expected upon reflection. As they all marry/have kids the apartments wouldn’t make as much sense. The safety issue and concern for each other was not a surprise either. Seeing Aiden and how much he loved his aunt Lia and uncle Jonah was precious. The baby scene with Luke and Lia was surprising as she seems to spend so much time with Beth in the tiger books. Overall a good addition and full of great info for this couple and family growth!

I can't help but give it 5 stars...

April Wilson does it again, I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters in this series from the beginning and now I feel like I am part of the McIntyre Family. While this is a novella, it is just as good as any of her full length novels and helps set the stage for what I'm sure is another great book in 2019! While this story does not have to be read in order, it does help in knowing the background of the characters. Great job April Wilson! Now for the long wait for the next book release.

Marry Me
Ok so I'm addicted to this McIntyre series and April Wilson never fails to deliver!
Jonah & Lia got together in Broken when Lia was assigned as Jonah's bodyguard (book 3 in series). After two years together, Jonah wants to marry the love of his life but can he get Lia to realise he's for real and he won't ever hurt her.
I love how Jonah gently pushes Lia, not too much that she'll snap, after all she is a scary but loveable badass and he's kinda scared of her lol
As always great to catch up with the other McIntyre's. A massive 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I loved Jonah and Lia's original story but I think this one was even better since we already knew the characters. Jonah is such a sweetheart. He loves Lia so much and he understands her. He accepts her. I enjoy the fact that they are private people and don't really want to be out in the world. Shane is such a good big brother. The fact that he thought of a way for all of them to be close together and still protected was very cool. I loved the advancement of Jonah's three-step plan. I'm anxious to hear about his progress in future books.

Just finished a short Novel "Marry Me" by April Wilson

April you have done it again!!!
I loved every bit of this novel. I got to see a side of Jonah and Lia that I didn't realise I craved. Their love is unconditional and powerful. Jonah is such a sweetheart and his all consuming love for Lia is unmistakable. I want that!! Lia is a fire cracker all the way. Her sassiness and sense of humour gets me everytime. I can't wait to see what happens next. I need more! Lia pregnant would be epic. Thank you April for listening to Jonah ;) we needed this xxx
