Say it everyday is a collection of poems signifying love, warmth, happiness and gratefulness. Reading them instantly gave me the seasonal vibe of cozy surroundings. The book is divided into three parts -

1) The seasons.
2) For you.
3) I love you.

I found them really good and retable. The tiny details and moments that we see or feel everyday such as a delightful coffee, being curled up near the fireplace, spending time with your loved ones, feeling contented and many more, they constitute majority of the book. Apart from these, I also loved the themes of self-love and letting go of the past, to move forward in your lives. I appreciate the effort that the author made in bringing the vivid imagination of autumnal snug comfort and the excitement of approaching winter.

This is the first book that I read by the author and it surely won't be my last. Definitely recommend this to the poetry readers who want a different and delightful read.

This was a lovely collection. I loved the overall theme of appreciating your loved ones everyday. While some poems were stronger than others--as a whole, this collection is a great reminder to appreciate each day.

This collection really paints a vibrant picture in your mind. It warms your heart in ways that I can't quite quantify. It flows and tells so many amazing stories. You'll feel like you're right inside her head, seeing these memories play out for you. I have a lot of favorites from this collection. A few of them:
Sunflower II
A Sign
Closure I
You're Running out of Pieces Love

Remember, Say it Everyday.

Say It Everyday by Shannon O'Connor is a beautiful collection of poetry that serves as a gentle reminder to never take the people in our lives for granted, and to tell those who are closest exactly what they mean to us. Each verse is thoughtful and exactly on point. I must say that Shannon's poetry always resonates with me on many levels, and I cannot wait to read whatever comes next. 4.5 stars

Many thanks to Shannon O'Connor for providing me with a copy of this collection to read and review.

There is something very easy and comforting about this collection by Shannon O’Conner. I loved the seasonal aspects of it, how warm it made me feel to read all the poems with touches of christmas and winter threaded through them. O’Conner has a very accessible voice that didn’t alienate me as a reader in any way and kept me charmed throughout the whole thing. I appreciate so much the parts of the collection that are very introspective and comment on self-love and self-growth- those were definitely my favourite pieces. All in all, a lovely collection that I personally think contains more sweet than bitter- which is a nice change to have a bit more focus on positive than negative in poetry. I love the poet behind this collection and their honesty and realness shines through the words effortlessly.

** I was given a free copy of this poetry collection in exchange for an honest review **

“In case I forget to say it everyday, I love you.”

This poetry collection splits into three parts, The Seasons, For You, and I Love You. Out of these three, my least favorite was The Seasons just because I wanted to see more out of the spring and summer seasons and I think it was just a missed opportunity.

The next two parts really had me looking from a different lens and I really appreciated that! Talking about marriage, children and love was done really well and Shannon does a phenomenal job of creating beautiful images.

Overall, enjoyed this now but I think it would become a favorite of mine later on when I’ve experienced a little more life.

"I was living on iced coffee
and heartbreak
the day we met."

O'Connor's third collection of poetry (the first that I've read by them) is woven out of warmth and wishful daydreams. Divided into three parts - The Seasons, For You, and I Love You - Say It Everyday reminds you of the small, blissful things all around you. The moments you take for granted in all the busyness of your life.

This collection's title poem, Say It Everyday, moved me the most.

This is the first collection I have read of Shannon O'Connor's, and it will not be the last.
I found a lot in this book that I relate to similar heartbreak I have experienced. The poems presented in Say It Everyday have left me with a sense of hope that I too can grow from the pain one day.
As another reviewer points out, the title sharing poem Say It Everyday definitely left an impact on me, as there is someone I wish I could say 'it' to now.
If you are debating purchasing this collection, I recommend you do. You won't regret it.

The descriptions of the cooler months are perfect; I feel as if I'm there seeing the leaves or the snow. This one of my most favorite collections of poetry.
