26/11 Unforgiven

Rate this book
Even as Ajmal Kasab was saying that ten men who carried out 26/11 attacks in Mumbai were Pakistani terrorists, some politicians of the ruling establishment were calling it a ‘RSS Conspiracy’. It was clear to Vikrant that government would do nothing to take revenge for the death of his wife and daughter who died along with more than 150 others in those dastardly attacks. Forget about taking revenge, he won’t even get justice.

But Vikrant Maheshwari was not the government. He wasn’t tied down by diplomatic niceties. Can he himself extract his revenge from Pakistan? Who will help him? How will he evade the cops who’ve come to know of his plans?

This book is very poignant and a definite tearjerker. The 26/11 attack on Mumbai are not easy subject to write but author Manish Jaitly does so with grace, entwining the life of families. The book is raw and emotional, book drew me in and it was hard to put down. Vikrant Maheshwari character was well written. The language of the book is simple and easy to understand. The title is apt to the story. Cover of the book compel you to pick it up. Book is well written and a great read. Keeping you turning the pages wanting to see what happen next.
