Untimely Losses: The third novel in the Yesterdays War series

Rate this book
The war in Europe is over. The new post-Nazi German leaders have agreed to a second Armistice after their victory over the Soviet Union. There is an uneasy peace now with the major combatants now struggling with massive wartime debts and the need to rebuild their battered economies. But the war in the Pacific continues. Only now, the Japanese are the ones using weapons of mass destruction in a desperate attempt to stave off defeat at the hands of the Allies. China, Australia and England have finally been joined by America in a final push to end the threat of the Japanese imperialists. Harold Cavill has continued to try to influence the course of history to avoid the causes of humanity’s final apocalyptic war from his previous timeline. But, as with all of man’s plans, there are always complications. Some of Harold's complications live right inside of his own home.

What an Interesting Book

I was sort of casually reading the first two books in the series and then became caught up in the broad sweep of the story he was unfolding. There are so many details in the story that combine our world facts with their world. As an Army officer and Asia specialist i was impressed with how much background he included. The third book advances the story greatly and I look forward to reading number four.

Good...

Books good, but not as good as I recommend. One thing I notice many repeated conversations. Second this one of my first time travel book. Many years later I've read better. However still worth reading

Times a wasting

Great story takes you to a place where your not aware of time passing. Characters develop in a smooth progression. Interesting use of major world figures and events, just a really fun ride.

Good tale

Excellent concept. Good character development. Book could use editing for grammar and story line continuity. I look forward to the next release.
