Unfortunately, this book lacks a solid plot. However, I enjoyed that the authors included photos and diagrams to outline the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mental or physical pain.

The best books are those read more than once and with tears on the pages.

very dense. if AR points were still a thing I’d get so many for this one. unfortunately it was just a very important exam for my career not an icecream party or free personal pizza

I have to say the story jumps around a bit. We are looking big picture then we get into some systems based jargon. The images, while some say are reserved for children’s books, we’re very compelling in this work. While the story claims to be all inclusive, SURPRISE, there is a lot that was not covered in just one book. The reading comprehension exam that pairs with this book is a doozy and don’t fret when 20% of the question content is not in this edition.

Did I rate this book because I wanted the credit for my yearly reading challenge? Yes. Should I receive credit for this? Absolutely.

For a book about health and life it nearly killed me. Extremely boring, took me several months to finish and I skipped several chapters. 10/10 do not recommend.

The book wasn't as easy of a read as I thought. Took me a whole year to get through it and then I forgot the original plot so had to read it again. The pictures are nice though.

The plot was not that compelling. Couldn’t keep the characters and their names straight in my head. Two stars for gross photos.

Dry, arid, and unexciting as it reads like a dictionary. It most certainly leaves nothing up for imagination. Saving grace is fun phrases such as I GET PP SMASHED, HARDASS, and SICKFACES.COM. If you are looking for something to immerse yourself in and get lost in the story, this is not the book for you.

The plot really jumped around with this book. A challenging read, but I think I’m better because of it. Would recommend to a friend, but will be clear to specify that this is not self-help material despite the fixation on human body systems.

I've spent too much time reading this thing for months for it to not count in my yearly goodreads book list. Cheers

Hated studying, great resource. Had to add this to my Goodreads strictly because I read through over 700 pages of the most boring material and it needs to be accounted for 😂
