420 pages of pure conversation. OMG, too may characters. Too much dialogue.

This is decolonized literature at its best. Forward with stories from #EzaseKasi.

Not my kind of book. Good on Vumile for writing nd publishing.

a nice escape from reality... the characters were a bit much for me, i just could not deal. grammatical errors and need for proof reading, i felt like she wrote as she thought without revisiting what she had written .

An excellent novel for those who believe that life gives second chances even to love. The book is about Zah, a lady that has survived losing the love of her life, left her with an unborn baby, raised by parents who never showed love except throwing money for her to attend best schools but never had time for her and a lady that survived depression. She later found love from a person she least expected could fall for her. The story touches on ups and downs of relationships, crime and family secrets. Characters will leave u giggling like an idiot (Thando holds the trophy).

Lessons learned:
• Behave and take good care of yourself everywhere you go because you will never know who is watching. Zah was not aware that in the same circle of friends someone( Mthunzi) had so much interest on her.
• All secrets have a way of coming out in the end. Though the author made it easy for Zah to move on after learning the truth plus how her mother reacted when her secret was out, its not everyone who manages to move on. Some break down, end their lives or their lives change completely.
• Thabiso- Lord have mercy!! There are so many Thabisos out there and most ladies never realize until its too late. The guys that suffer from low self esteem who hide under the word "love". Before u know it u will have no friends and no family because they have power to control u until later in life they can end up abusing u. So be aware of such men.

About the author
A young lady who started writing short stories on facebook. She identified her talent and decided on publishing a book. One of her strengths is her ability of taking a reader to an imaginary journey. In her story most scenes its like you are watching a movie, you can picture the whole scene. For me this was evident in the scene where Zah was holding a gun protecting her helpers and kids in that fearful night. My heart beat was on another level and I could see all her moves in that scene.

Lastly, congratulations maZulu.

Last! Last! Last....that Bubblies cabinet for celebrations in Mthunzis house, I want it

A rather disappointing conclusion for such an elaborate build up however the storyline kept me intrigued till the end. The familiar South African setting obviously made me relate but the opulence of the main characters was a it over the top. All in all an enjoyable read.
