The Amazon best-selling Mark Landry series continues with Turning Point—a contemporary thriller driven by a high-tech special operations manhunt, family upheaval, and multiple crises confronting intelligence personnel on two continents. When the President and National Security Advisor want Oleg Borodin—legendary Russian spy and master of disinformation—eliminated, Mark Landry gets the call. Mark and his team of operators scour the globe in a gripping pursuit that quickly turns deadly. Back home in Massachusetts, Mark’s wife, Detective Sergeant Luci Landry, is on the verge of retirement and contemplating a run for sheriff until unexpected events threaten her reputation and her future. Turning Point intertwines real-life issues with shocking plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what will happen next—and questioning everything you thought you knew. Turning Point, the third book of the Mark Landry series, picks up the story from Wrong Town and Family Matters, but you can read them in any order—no prior knowledge from previous books is needed to get engrossed in this web of intrigue, shifting loyalties, and unsettling surprises.

This Mark Landry novel was the best of the series so far. (It took me longer than usual to read it because other Amazon purchases kept getting in the way.) The title and rating above are not a reflection of Mr Miller’s excellent writing, but rather a reaction to the characters of Mark and Lucy Landry. Without adding a spoiler here, suffice it to say that the surprise ending left me rethinking the quality of character the two heroes (anti-heroes, perhaps?) have developed. I think it will remain to be seen where these two finally end up in future novels. It’s definitely worth a book club discussion!
Another fine read by Mr. Miller. I was kind of taken aback by the decision to kill Goodie though. But I guess there really was no other way to put a halt to the idiots actions. Just a shocker. Looking forward to more books by the author.
Better than expected. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I liked this book a lot because it was.not predictable. I usually read 2 or 3 books simultaneously because i get easily bored. Not so with this book.
I had to postpone dinner to finish this book. The skill and wordsmithing of Mr. Miller is so apparent in this book and the previous two. I'm a big fan and would love for there to be more Landry episodes!
Miller has come out with his best book yet! This one had me sitting on the edge of my seat. Mark Landry is an exciting, cool character in the same class as Rapp and Harvath! Can't wait to get my hands on the next book! Let's go Randall. It's 2021 and I need you to clean up some loose ends!
