While it is a good resource, it has a lot of mistakes. For example, there is a formal conversation between two people. They used the plural form of "you" (vi) to address each other. In such situation, "vi" is capitalised (Vi) to show respect - which didn't happen in the book. It's relevant, even for beginners so I have no idea why they didn't even mention it, at least as a tip.
Vocabulary words are outdated. If you say "sekretarica", everyone will understand. But, the Croatian word is "tajnica". I hoped that the book would use the official (standard) form of Croatian.
The bigger problem is "goodbye" - "doviđenja". It is always one word (it can be two but the meaning is different). Again, the author repeatedly wrote "do viđenja" which is confusing both for any foreign learner and even more for native speakers.
These are just a few remarks regarding the first unit (mostly). If you are going to use this book, consider spending time researching those mistakes and talking to a native speaker.

Odlična knjiga. Moj najveći problem sa učenjem BHS jezika je bio da nisam imao sva pravila zajedno u jednoj knjizi i da nisam dovoljno vježbao. Konačno sam našao ovu knjigu i eventualno knjiga mi je pomogla da budem bolji u bosanskom.

I'm not as fond of this series as I am the Pimsleur "aural/oral only" CDs, but it does have the added benefit of presenting the grammar in a more accessible format. I use this as a supplement to Pimsleur to figure things out. If ever I did decide to go more into depth with Croatian (which is doubtful since we've returned from Croatia and probably won't go back anytime soon), I'd definitely start here rather than with Pimsleur again. Looking over the general scope of the lessons, it seems to have just about all the grammatical and situational bases covered. Plus, this is a very affordable book -- it packs a lot in for the price. Some of the follow-up exercises are a little unimaginative and sparse, but anyone who's learned other languages can easily compensate for that by coming up with other ways to practice/reinforce the target structures.
