Lucien's Inquisiton
Good read if you only have an hour or so. Tanya is wondering what's going on with her brother and best friend. When she follows them she can't believe her eyes. What will she do? Who is this dragon that she wants? Why won't her brother leave with her when he gets healed? Are these feeling the same as her friend had? The only thing I feel could have been better is the start of the story and explaining what a Serpentina was.
Professor Drake
A quick read, that starts up many years after the last book. Clair is a TA at the university and been teaching a class that did not have a teacher yet. When Professor Drake is sitting at her desk, she is inflamed. Professor Drake who is the dragon lord, can not stop looking at her. Drake does everything he can to get her alone, and Clair is doing everything she can to stay away. What will happen when she finds out he is a dragon? Can Drake keep this feisty human safe? Will his brothers be able to help stop the Serpentina's from killing Claire?
Crylaine's Secret
This a short read. Crylaine meets Jennifer at the library and is intrigued by her. Jennifer is student and heads rallies for others. She does not know what to think on Crylaine? She needs space? Can Crylaine give it to her? Can Crylaine accept the fact that she is not sure about him?
Arrlien's Honor
Arrlien lost his mate years ago and has always hide away, they live in New York and he patrols the streets at night. Riley is a comedian trying to find her way. When she is on her way home one night she is attacked and Ari comes in to save her. What will she do when she sees he's a dragon? What made Ari show her his true form? Can Riley be more than friends with Ari when she is still suffering from the loss of her sister? Can Ari accept someone else into his life after losing his mate?

Scyro calls his brothers, they can't believe it. They go searching for her, but Scyro sees her waiting for him at the end of his shift. Belle has no idea what he is talking about, she just wants to know about others like her, since she grew up in an orphanage. What will the dragons do? Why does Scyro have these feelings for her? What will Belle do? Can she believe everything they are saying? What is the real truth about the Serpentinas?

Jennifer stepped into the New York Public Library. Following her nightly ritual, Jennifer closed her eyes and spun around in the aisle, grabbing a book from the shelf and letting fate decide what she would read. Tonight’s book was Dragons. With so many more causes to support and important things in the world to study, why would she end up with a book about dragons? Distracted, she became aware that a man had silently come up beside her and sat close! She swore she saw green flames in his eyes! He had a beautiful smile and she was very attracted to him. He commented on the book she chose, mentioning how fascinating dragons are.
The next evening, when Laine shows up at the library again, he has obviously been in a very vicious fight. The Serpentina, female dragons, were constantly battling and attacking the males and, the previous night, three had attacked Drake and Laine as they patrolled the skies. He wants to share his secret with Jennifer so allows her to follow him through the door to the roof of the library. He shifts into a dragon before she comes through the door. Only his beautiful eyes let her know it must be Laine, then he shifted back to human form and wrapped his arms around her. Can she accept in her heart that dragons are real? Will she still feel the same toward him? Can she be convinced that she is his mate?
I love these books and seeing the dragons have a chance to win the heart of their mates. We can count on the fact it won’t be simple – their enemies are still out there trying to destroy them. The story lines are always well-paced and keep up the suspense to thrill the reader. The description of what’s going on in each book and how the characters experience those things is beautifully handled by the author. Don’t miss the chance to read this wonderful set to see how each dragon tries to find his dream.

A really good box set, but not without issues
I really enjoyed the stories in this collection. However, there were numerous issues that kept me from loving it, as well as being able to give it a higher rating. The correct reading order for this book should have been #1, #3, #2, & #4. There were also numerous editing problems throughout all of the stories, including but not limited to misspelled words, incorrect names used (which is VERY distracting & takes away from the story), and more.
I decided to be generous and give this a 3 star rating because I really enjoyed the plots, characters, and the secondary plot that continued throughout all four stories. Had it not been for the major issues in the book, it would've received a higher rating. If you don't mind the issues listed above, then I believe that you can enjoy this book. I would recommend it after the problems have been corrected.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. The Fire Bound Protectors Box Set by Haley Weir should be at the top of your TBR pile. I read these books individually and jumped at the chance to re-read the box set with the added story Scyro's Passion. There is just so much fun and passion packed into this box set. Grab a drink, a snack, a box of tissues and prepare to be delighted by Haley Weir's shifters. I laughed, cried and sweated my way through the stories the first time and upon the re-read found myself doing it again! These are characters you won't want to give up at the end of your read. Great book, great characters, great entertainment. You can't go wrong with a Haley Weir read.

i read this box set as part of an arc program. This set is about four dragons who are living in New York and are trying to fight against the female dragons known as Serpentina, who turned violent and are trying to kill the male dragons. Drake is the Lord Dragon and along with his guards Arrlien, Crylaine and Scryos, they patrol the skies and find their mates. Each dragon find their human mate and hope to reproduce in order to save the dragons. I really enjoyed this series. I love how protective each dragon was and how much they loved each other as well as Corey, their butler and their mates. Great set.

First books I've read by this author
I liked the dragons. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars were all the misspelled or incorrectly used words like waist for waste. If you can get beyond those, the storyline is complex and different for each story. I liked getting all of these stories together, but to read them in chronological order, read # 1, then 3, then 2 and then 4.
The pace is breakneck, the tone is hopeful, the storyline is both character and action oriented with steamy scenes and vibrant characters. If you like dragons, romance with steam and action and a complete set of stories, you will enjoy this. Just ignore the issues mentioned previously.

A well-written set of four great books a set that kept me reading I enjoyed reading them all. These are the books in the set Professor Drake, Arrlien's Honor, Crylaine's Secret and Scryos' Passion. This is a fascinating series. The set gives us the story of Lord Drakkain and his dragons finding their mates while fighting the Serpentina to keep them safe. Each story is individual and unique to that couple. Scyros' Passion is the last of the warriors to find his mate and he has a fight on his hands. This story can only be found in this box set. I love having all of the books together and highly recommend this set. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

Typical dragonshifters who fall for love over war
Of the 4 stories, each dragon meets a mate but I think I like the last one best. In each the warrior dragon meets and “takes the girl to safety” without seeking approval first. The women need protection from Serpentina who are angry and turned into monsters. In the last story she seeks him out for personal reasons but discovers a flame and connection she’s never had. This coupling leads to a better understanding of what happened to start the war.

Where is book 1?
Great box set. But it is missing BOOK ONE. It only contains book 2 - 5. You have to pay for book one or ask to receive it free from the author. I noticed this AFTER I read Professor Drake and started reading Arrlien’s Honor and it mentioned in the first paragraph that there was TWO couples happily mated knowing I only read about one couple I looked and found out that book one wasn't included. It's a shame too I really enjoyed the box set. But because ALL books were NOT included I have given this review 4 stars.

Some errors
While the series was good, I wish the individual stories had been longer. I did notice that there were some mix ups in the box set. For starters, the books were out of order. There were also some mix ups pertaining to names as well as some grammar mistakes. It would have been amazing if the storyline was expanded and the characters had been developed even more. To me it felt like the characters had been short changed. However, overall the series was pretty darn good.

This is the stories of the dragons, it's great to be able to read them all together and in sequence. They are all related and are fighting the female dragons, although they are unsure why the females have turned vengeful.
The final one is about Scryos, Sky, and Belle, who knows that she's different from everyone else but doesn't know why.

Dragons!
First, change your reading order of this set. Drake, Crylaine, then Arrlien. Great story of dominate male dragons trying to join modern day society in New York while trying to find mates. **spoiler alert** I did have a problem with why the females turned so vicious? Just being in a male dominated species doesn't seem to be enough to cause such extreme reaction. And was one Dragon doing all the blackmailing?

Great stories!
Jersey gal kept me entertained. Very enjoyable plots!Romance tasteful. Hope other writers can live up to Ms Weir. Refreshing HEA's.Loved this collection,it's fun. Hadn't read about Dragons since McCaffrey's long tales but I am getting more of these reads now. You'll enjoy these characters & their adventures.

All I can say is WOW
This is not my normal style of read. As in usually I read HOT HOT HOT vs this was just WOW it kept my attention because of being dragon shifters . Even though the sex wasn't off the wall hot and steamy the story lines was enough to keep me reading !! Definitely a very good read loved it!!

Good Storytelling
I bought this series thinking it was about firefighters who were also dragon shifters. It was nothing like what. Thought it was but I really enjoyed each story. My favorite in the series is the one about Ari and Rhyley. Second chance love just gets me every time. I will read more from this author, just enough action, humor and steam!

Very romantic and exciting

The stories and characters are well defined. There is humor and sadness.
It was a little distracting when too many words were there as if she changed her mind mid sentence. Such things as tale instead of tail.

I love to read but this is my pet peeve. Proofread the books. Make sure the font is uniform throughout. This series is out of order as well. Could’ve been a great series but this is the 2nd series by this author to have the same problems. Makes me not want to read anymore of her books.

I liked this series but my download was faulty. It didn't include Ari's story and I wasn't able to get Lucien's story for free as promised when I joined her group.
