Her love was greedy. Their love was infinite.

Lead singer of the start-up band Four Real, Tricia Donahue left her hometown with one question. How can you love three men at once? She’s convinced herself that it can’t be done—not without living up to her family’s infamous reputation. Now, years later, lead guitarist Michael Hill is touring with world famous TRE, far removed from the small town band he once called his family. Home will never be the same until he makes things right. Keyboarder, Pete Morello and drummer, Marty Pierce were always close, but when the one girl they ever loved disappeared from their life, their casual threesomes and life’s hard knocks revealed the feelings they share for each other. Reunion time for four best friends with unfinished business means they will finally face the music. Fantasy…meet reality.

4.75 "we can work it out" stars

Highschool reunion. 4 best friends that 8 years ago formed a local band.
Hill, Tricia, Marty and Pete were inseparable and one night – they shared more than friendship and comfort. Tricia got freaked out by the overwhelming feelings and bolted. Hill left to chase a career leaving them all behind or so it seemed at the time...
but for Tricia it was just the push strong enough to make her run.
She needed to leave it all there in Crawford Mills: the heartbreak, the confusing feelings for Hill's best friends who were also her best friends. She bolted, and told herself it was for the best.

8 years after, she's still not in the clear of what she wants, no, she knows what she wants but she's afraid of wanting it, cuase there would be judgement, labels and what not...
The secret feelings she'd shuttled into the closet about her boyfriend's best buddies rebelled inside of her and wanted to be heard.

she's burdened by her mother's junkie/whoring past and the reflections that could/would be cast upon her...she's afraid of her own desires, she's afraid of life and living.

Hill has his own reasons for coming back, it has to do with the Label company and the songwriter's right's, that signed him and his new band but he never got over that cruicial night Tricia cut him off, cut them all off without a word, explanation or any further response...he's primarly reasons might be all business BUT deep down he's back to set things straight once and for all, cause he misses her, he needs her...
I'd rather have something unconventional and real with you than some kind of lukewarm, cookie-cutter storybook romance with the wrong damn girl.

and him being aware of the shared feelings he and his friends have for Tricia only highten the urge to claim her again...
For all the right reasons Hill had wanted her to be free to give herself to his best friends because she was in love with them the same as she loved him.

but they need to let Tricia find her own pace and rhythm for her to realize that they never actually stopped loving her...

and Hill needs as much of his friendship with Marty and Pete. His best friends that share not only love towards each other, but they all share the unconventional love for Tricia and they want her back in their lives.

With patience, openness and persistance in communication they will prove to her that there are no boundaries existent that could hold back the true love no matter how unconventional it might be.
But in reality they not only filled her completely and fucked her thoroughly.
They loved her unconditionally.

plus one more...they really get FOUR REAL

Recommendable read

Well, my first encounter with Ms. Alyssa Turner's work left me with heavy sighs, not to say pant, but whatever, from all those smokin hawt menage/foursome scenes...but I also found more deep background thoughts on human behaviour in dealing with the stigma of an unconventional relationship...

I enjoyed this one, but I didn't LOVE it. The dynamic of the menage just felt off to me for some season. Maybe it was because Marty and Pete are an already established due (so much so they are getting married.) And Tricia and Hill seemed to be a separate couple. I don't think I am explaining it well. They just never melded together as a cohesive menage for me and because of that the whole relationship felt off. With Hill often times feeling like a third wheel.

I also felt it was a bit slow to get to the point. I think if the story were longer and the author had spent more time building a relationship us the readers were privy too, then maybe the menage would have worked better for me. I don't know. Like I said something just felt off to me through the whole book.

That said, the writing was decent. The bones for a potentially awesome story were there. The characters were likable. I just think it needed a bit more fleshing out IMO.

Spoiler Ahead This was a really good book that I wanted more of. Tricia Donahue had a hard life growing up with a mother who was addicted to drugs and being bipolar she always had her best friends Hill Pete and Marty. Tricia has always loved all three of them but Hill was always special to her. This was a good book Tricia let her insecurities get in her way and after the three of them hooked up she can't or won't look at them and when Hill leaves for L.A. she is angry and feels guilty for wanting Marty and Pete so she leaves home. Fast forward eight year's a high school reunion the old gang is back together. Hill who is a hugh rock star is back in town staying with Marty and Pete who are now a couple and who are getting married. Each of the guys were hurt when Tricia avoided them by leaving town and they never stopped loving her. Tricia has a hard time dealing with her feelings for the guys and she feels guilty because she loves all of them she doesn't want to be her to be like her mother who was a slut. The sex scenes in this book were hot. Ms. Turner writes some really good sex scenes. This book was really well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I really hope that Ms. Turner will write a follow up book to this one.

Where do I find three sexy men to cater to my every whim? Is there an app for that??

When world famous bad boy guitarist Michael Hill returns to his hometown to play with his old HS bandmates at their class reunion, Tricia Donahue is transported back to that day so many years ago when the two of them and bandmates Marty Pierce and Pete Morello enjoyed one hot night of erotic fun. Now that the four of them have reunited, it's clear that the attraction and love between them all never ended. Is it possible to have a future together or will Tricia let fear drive her away once again?

Oh yea, Ms. Turner sure knows her way around a ménage! FOUR REAL was super sexy, well written and had a depth that is often lacking in ménage stories. Hill and Tricia had fabulous chemistry alone, but when she was with all three men, that's when the yumminess shot through the roof! I'm all about the MM aspect of ménage stories, and Marty and Pete's relationship was just the icing on the erotic cake. I tend to dislike any group sex featuring relatives, however I'll give FOUR REAL a pass on this one since Hill and Marty were only related by marriage once removed (and there was no sexual interaction between the two of them anyway). Tricia's back and forth, hot and cold attitude did get frustrating after awhile, but I appreciated the unwavering love the three men had for her and how they handled her uncertainty. This is a delicious MFMM read that will have you wishing for your own trio of sexy musicians to keep you warm at night.

Bottom Line: No OW/OM; lots of yummy sharing; condom use; hot as hell MM, MF,MMF and MFMM sex; no BDSM/kink (though foursomes are kind of kinky); no sexual assault; no murder/violence. - See more at: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/v...

This book is straight up hotness. I'm warning you now. I've never witnessed a reunion so damn scorching. Tricia has her own demons to battle, but the men in her life are having none of it. The chemistry explodes off the pages. I recommend this book and will be on that I listen to again!

Author Alyssa Turner nailed it with her with her flair for writing and sucking you in.

Hmmm...I loved the blurb on this one, but I just felt like the whole setup didn’t really work. There was a disconnect in the relationship between the four characters. It was MMFM...which usually I LOOOOVE, but I just didn’t believe it in this book. It was more like two separate relationships, but then they all got together occasionally for bit of sexy times!

So this one was good in theory and it kept teasing that it might get really hot, but, ultimately, it wasn’t for me. The story was pretty whatever and there were a few hot moments, however, lines like this kept taking me out of it “ocean of anal pleasure where the largest swells of orgasm seem to roll out into infinity.” I’m down with butt stuff and the ocean, but still.

Other then the HFN ending since it takes past 3 months after Pete and Marty’s wedding night, Tricia wants to move in but I would like to see what happened years down the road... like did the circle all live together, another wedding, albums, little ones anything more life changing, that what I look forward into these kind of second/third chance or reunited love(s).mover all it was a great story, read almost like a full length with a beginning middle and end-ish. There was a few grammar errors that was over looked but it was simple missing letters in words. Told in only Hill and Tricia’s POV so we don’t fully understand what Pete or Marty was thinking that they never let others know, a few parts where they could say their minds would have helped to bring them more into this true foursome relationship.

This book had more potential. It was a second chance romance between one female and 3 males. They were young and in a band, until one day, one of the males made it big and left them all. Then the female takes that bad and cuts ties with the others too. Then many years later they end up having a small reunion and their relationship is rekindled. I didn't care for the females personality, I liked all the males. It was okay, but really could of been better with more character and story building. I listened to the audio and they all did a great job.

Solid 4

Really liked this!

I always like a second chance book and this was such a good one. Sometimes you don’t learn the backstory or just get bits and pieces. But we learned a lot about Tricia,Hill, Pete and Marty’s back story to understand who they were and where they came from.
Knowing why/how Pete and Marty started their relationship outside of Hill and Tricia was awesome. I read in another review that their relationship with Tricia felt forced. I don’t agree. And if I’m honest Pete’s feelings seemed more genuine than anyones. But I could tell they all loved her.
And I loved that Pete and Marty knew they loved each other but they knew something was missing and it was Tricia. The way Marty explained to Tricia why him and Pete worked so well was so sweet. I loved their open relationship and how they are so honest. Which you should be.
Hill pissed me off more than a few times. When I first heard about him leaving I was made. Then learned the back story and found out that Trisha didn’t give him or the guys a chance to explain I felt sad for them.
Trisha…l got frustrated with her. But I understand her and what she was going through. What her mindset was. How she had to get out of her head because of her mother.

I’m rambling….. this was a good read. Definitely a reread. Definitely recommend

Four Real by Alyssa Turner is a ménage second chance romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vivianna Marlowe, Curt Bonnem, and Erin Bateman.

This is the first book of Alyssa's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Tricia, Michael, Pete, and Marty.

Vivianna, Curt, and Erin did an amazing job on the narration. They really brought the story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like ménage romances, second chance romances, friends to lovers romance, or contemporary romance.

I didn't love this. Most of the adults feel like teenagers to me. The poor FMC needs therapy to overcome a terrible childhood, but she magically makes herself all better over a couple chapters towards the end *insert eyeroll*. The end didn't feel like a full ending.

Some people have referred to this as a reverse harem book and I'd have to say it I don't agree. While there is one lead female with multiple lead male characters, we don't have a traditional reverse harem set up. There is a strong relationship or strong sexual relationship between Pete and Marty and fact they get married during the book, it almost has the feel of two separate couples who happened to spend a lot of time together have a very strong connection and have really hot sex together.

The label on the cover of menage and more is far more appropriate and it definitely lives up to this label there is a strong connection between all three of the men and Trisha, and there's also strong connection between all three of the men even though Michael is not sexually involved with the other two men.

The story line is interesting the execution was great, the sex scenes during the book with super hot, and I love the dynamic between the four lead characters.

The narrator's style suits the book well, the pace and tone of the delivery match the emotions of the scenes in the book and the character voices were very well done. I think that the three narrators worked together really well to create a strong consistent delivery and that the use of the different narrators made the book better than it would have been with just one narrator.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

I found the three narrators had my attention from beginning to end. I very much appreciate having male and female voices bringing the characters to life. The emotions and feelings of each character could be felt. Their voices were pleasing to the ear. I felt they complimented each other.

I enjoyed this RH book. It had steamy scenes, but an amazing storyline of accepting unconventional love. Trish walked away eight years ago from Hill, Pete and Marty. She loved and missed them all but could not come to terms of polyamory. She worried kind of love would label her badly if others found out. Ms. Turner writes erotica with good storyline and fantastic characters.

When a high school reunion acts as the catalyst in bringing four individuals who once meant everything to each other back together, sparks will fly in this scorching ménage romance. Hurt feelings, fears over what others think, and the inability to move on from the past weigh down these characters to keep them struggling for their HEA and will keep readers immersed from start to finish. Throughout the story these issues were easy to relate to and made this an emotionally engaging story balanced with scorching encounters that kept me furiously turning the pages...and will do the same to you.

Tricia Donahue's home life growing up was dysfunctional to say the least. A drug-addicted mother with bipolar disorder didn't make for a warm and loving home, but rather she was left embarrassed and angry over how her peers perceived her because of her mother. The only people who supported her, protected her, and gave her unconditional love were Hill, Pete, and Marty, who played alongside her in a high school rock band. With them by her side she could be herself and release all her dark thoughts through her lyric writing. When her mother's addiction finally becomes too much Tricia's left no choice but to put her in rehab which leaves her more on her own than ever before. Guilt, loneliness, and fears over what her mother's disorder means for her led to an unforgettable evening that brings her even closer to her three guardians but leaves her confused and running from them by morning. She never forgot them in the years since, never found any others who could match the feelings they engendered in her, which is what brings her back to reunite with them on stage. Old hurts and new truths, as well as their helping out a friend, lead to close quarters and tons of sexual tension. When Hill reveals another truth as to why he came back home this foursome ends up banding together one more time in support of Tricia. Will their renewed closeness lead to commitment or will she keep running from the HEA that's always been waiting for her? Tricia's clearly a woman in pain who had to grow up far too soon. She had three friends who were devoted to her and her happiness but was confused by the intense feelings she had towards all of them and has been hiding ever since. Seeing them as grown up men, their sweet and caring sides, shows her how much she's missing out on and leads her to making changes and taking control of her life which leads to a cheer-inducing moment. I applauded her evolution as she finally grew up to let loose the shackles of self-doubts to grab hold of the love given to her from three honorable and drool-worthy men.

Hill was drawn to Tricia the moment he first met her in their youth. He was drawn by her gritty and powerful lyrics that came from her soul. He fell for her wholeheartedly but knew his cousin and friend cared just as much. He soon became her boyfriend but always kept from claiming her completely as he knew that without the others there Tricia wouldn't feel wholly loved. The one night they all had together changed everything though and set each of them on separate paths. He went to California to get famous, desperately wanting Tricia there, but surrounded by her lyrics. When those lyrics lead to Tricia being betrayed it becomes yet another reason to confront her about her running and hiding from them all. Being back home has them remembering their pasts and them pushing Tricia about their future in moments that were frustrating as well as heartbreaking. Hill's a delicious hero who hasn't let fame go to his head. He always seemed so mature in their younger years, knowing what Tricia needed before she could barely understand it herself. He's protective of her, supportive of her, even after she pushed him away. He's feeling tied down to the music he's making now and hopes that Tricia will be the impetus to his sound becoming more reflective of him. I enjoyed his interactions with Pete and Marty as they were brotherly yet mocking of each other, the ease by which they shared Tricia. He felt no jealousy towards them and in their erotic encounters they were perfectly in sync which made it easy to lose yourself in their erotic interludes. His interactions with his new bandmates was equally playful, particularly with Dougie who's a self-described player, and I long to see it played out more fully.

Pete and Marty have always been close as Marty's parent's divorce had him clinging to the happiness Pete's family exuded. Early on they knew their feelings were more than that of friends as their longing glances and sensual support depicted. Once they met Tricia though they were committed to her and did everything they could to love and support her, until that one night when she was most lost and needy. Her running frustrated them and broke their hearts leading to many erotic encounters with women who looked like her. They've made a life together since everything fell apart which was wonderful to see but diminished the emotional impact of their ménage once Tricia returned. They felt separate, an add-on at times, despite how well-choreographed their encounters were. I loved this couple and their dichotomy of Pete's sweetness and protectiveness balanced with Marty's brashness and commanding nature. They were combustible together with a single kiss igniting my tablet and I wish we'd learned more about the evolution of their relationship.

All in all this was an enticing and decadently delightful read of friends who fought fate, fears, and society to become more. I liked Tricia and applauded her bravery in her dealings with her mother but was frustrated by her running away after her night with her three saviors. She was a coward pure and simple and owed everyone a lot of apologies. I enjoyed the glimpses of the music world and the machinations of a greedy record company that were realistically depicted. Seeing Hill's new bandmates was also enticing as Dougie's my quintessential book boyfriend for his snarky and sexy ways and I'd love to see a series based on them. The main issue of this story is the ménage and it fell just a bit flat for me because of Pete and Marty's already well-established relationship. They already had their HEA, so whatever happened with Tricia was just to make a happier HEA. Hill and Tricia were clearly a couple too, had been since their teens, so they felt separate as well despite their being a scorching foursome. Despite this I still enjoyed these characters and the obvious proof of the power of love and unending friendship and found myself quickly caught up in this foursome's outcome and my hopes for more romances set in this world.

When I started this book, all I had to go on was the synopsis. I believe the brief synopsis of the book is misleading to potential readers. For one it implies threesome when in reality it is a foresome (Four Real isn't just the name of the band). Some may be turned off by that factor where others love it.

This in my words is a very quick description of the book: This book is a MMFM second chance romance. Four best friends delve into a more intimate relationship one night. The next day Tricia bolts and pushes everyone away. With confused feelings of how something that felt so good last night could be so wrong in reality. She walks away not giving any of the men a chance to explain their feelings. This causes the men to have to learn to live without her. Not necessarily in a good way.

Fast forward eight years to a highschool reunion and the past comes to light. Can Tricia continue to go through life as if sge didn't miss and love her former best friends? Can she really still love all three men? Can she forgive herself for how she feels? Read to find out.

This book is about second chances, unconventional relationships, unconditional love, MMFM adult situations and the importance of verbal communication. There is a real story here about acceptance of self and others. It just happens to surround those involved in a ménage relationship.

One of my favorite lines come from the first chapter and I think it best sums up this book.

"Some things happen, not because you planned them, not because you asked for it. Some things happen for a reason and you just have to see it through."

Four Real is not your typical reverse harem story. This second chance romance has Tricia seeing the 3 men she loved years ago and still having the same feelings. But can you love 3 men at the same time? And how do they feel about it? We get inside looks at each of Hill, Pete, Marty and Tricia seeing how each decision they made effected their feelings. It is a well written reflection of their inner workings as friends and lovers and gives us a chance to feel it all with them. I love the interactions between Hill and Tricia. Their chemistry is the strongest to me, and Hill really captured my heart. Then I heard Pete and Marty, and their story and easily fell for them as well. I can feel Tricia's inner turmoil as she decides how to move forward. Polyamory is not of the norm, so she is concerned about how people will see them. But in the end, is that what matters? Their journey is full of love, a little angst and some hot scenes. It's a passionate listen.

The trio of narrators are all new to me, and I think they worked very well together. Vivanna Marlow and Erin Bateman voiced the women and you could feel the friendship between them. It was like you knew they were friends forever and had the history in their conversations. Curt Bonnem is amazing as the three men. Each voice easily discernible, I found him to be perfect for the roles.

Lead singer of the band Four Real, Tricia is in a relationship with lead guitarist Hill, kinda. She also has feelings for keyboarder Pete and drummer Marty. This is nuts, she tells herself. She can’t be in love with three guys. She shouldn’t be in love with three guys, she shouldn’t want to be WITH three guys. Fast forward eight years. Ir’s reunion time, not only have Tricia’s feelings not changed, there’s a ton of new complications that need working out. Seems Tricia’s not the only one whose made a bit of a mess. Oops! Alyssa Turner is a master at writing stories that feel stunningly real, with characters that are all too human and this story is no exception. No spoilers here! You will want your headphones, this is a hot one! You will also want a big box of tissues because trust me, you WILL ugly cry, and a strong drink or three! In fact, make that a pitcher! This story feels like it is about real people, real imperfect people that need to be forthcoming with each other, but can’t until they find the courage to be forthcoming with themselves. What also comes through loud and clear is the unconditional love and acceptance that Hill, Pete, and Marty have for Tricia is the key to her finding that courage. We should all be so lucky to have a Hill, Pete and Marty in our world. I wish I could give more than five stars. I absolutely loved this story!

A page-turner from the beginning. Well-descriptive plot. No repeated words. The author provides you with enough details what going on. The chemistry between the male and female character starts slowly is not rushed. ------>I felt like I was one of the audience watching a performance as the story unfold in front of me. ------>I like how every emotion and feeling was expressed. ------> I dislike how they drift apart. ------> Tricia was born in a dysfunctional home. Being raised by single mother. She lead singer of Four real bands. With Pete, Marty, Michael. Feeling insecure about herself decides to leave. Each member of the band drifted apart. Several years passed they re-untied trying to figure out what happened between them being so close as a band. Having their ups and down being there for one other. Will they find closure of being back together? By finding answers to why they drift apart? Will they find a solution to be together? I recommend you to read this book. It deserves more than five stars. And you will love it. I voluntarily read an advanced copy

Tricia, Hill, Marty, and Pete have been lifelong friends. They started a band together, Hill and Tricia wrote most of the songs, then Hill takes off for L.A. and gets signed and his new band is TRE. Now ten years later they are back for their school reunion and they convince Tricia to sing with them. Tricia nor the guys have ever forgotten the night they all spent together. Marty and Pete are getting married but they still want Tricia a part of them. Tricia loves Hill but she also loves Marty and Pete. Can they all get over the hurt feelings of Hill leaving and Tricia cutting everyone off, so they can be happy ?

M/M, M/M/F/M, F/M. Second chance at love. With three guys and a girl. Tricia’s rough childhood made her scared of turning out like her mom but works hard to get past it with the help from the guys. Sexy and may give you hot flashes. First time reading this author and enjoyed it very much.

A Great 2nd Chance, Friends to Lovers Romance! 4.5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Four Real
Ménage and More

By: Alyssa Turner
Narrated by: Vivianna Marlowe, Curt Bonnem, Erin Bateman

This is the first book I’ve read from Alyssa Turner and enjoyed it from start to end. I loved the characters she created and the history amongst them as well as the chemistry between them and some smoking hot MMFM scenes. Lots of emotions to work out and drama all making for a good story. I hope this is not the last I hear of Tricia, Hill, Marty and Pete! Thank you Alyssa Turner for a great read.

I listened to the Audible version, the narrators, Vivianna Marlowe, Curt Bonnem & Erin Bateman, performed well together and had great chemistry, which reflected back on to the characters and enhancing the storylines even more. Each gave a great performance.Thank you for a great listen!

Panty melting hot!

Can you fall in love with three men at the same time? Tricia did then got scared and left, three years later she's back, can she accept their feelings for each other are stronger than ever or will she run again?
Wow, wow, wow this book is so panty melting hot! I just love menage books but this is so much more, it's a MFMM foursome and the fact they all grew up together and loved each other as friends first makes it all the more romantic. The characters are great, the storyline is excellent, well written and sexy as hell. If you're into menage stories or even if you're not I highly recommend you read this fabulous book, you won't be disappointed.

Steamy and sweet, Four Real was a MMFM second chance, friends to lovers romance. Its the first book I’ve read from Alyssa Turner and I enjoyed it greatly. This is a story about learning to accept yourself. The characters were well developed and likable. The dynamics between the guys were friendly and when T is brought in it's downright hot.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Vivianna Marlowe, Curt Bonnem, and Erin Bateman. They did an awesome job with the characters. Their voices flowed perfectly and they were easy to understand. They all made me enjoy listening to the story.
Four Real was a great read and I would recommend it.

I was a little worried about this one since a like ménage books but I don’t like ones when there is male on male or woman on woman. But this book was so well written that it didn’t even bother me.

Tricia has been in love with 3 men for a very long time but after one night 8 years ago she is running from them. When they all show up to play for their reunion the feelings they once shared is still strong. Will Tricia run or will she stand up and allow herself the happily ever after she wants? You will have to read it to find out. The narrators did an excellent job of bringing this story to life for me! I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book and an open mind.

Well...

I’m not sure how I feel. I read through it because it was a fairly short read. But at the same token I am still on the fence about the story. I understand being in a polyamorous relationship can be difficult and confusing. But if it’s what you want then want it and be happy with your decision. Don’t leave the others involved in limbo wondering about what will happen. And T definitely did that. Repeatedly. I’m glad though that Marty and Pete decided they loved each other and would be happy with each other even if they couldn’t have her. But Hill would be on his own without her.

Really couldn’t put it down!

This is the first Alyssa Turner book I’ve read and I convinced myself that I would only read a couple of chapters but alas I finished the book in just a few hours.
As you tell in the blurb this group of friends drifted apart and by circumstance have been reunited after eight years. The story uncovers the reason behind their separation and works through complicated feelings and pasts to get to a HEA ending. At first I thought their relationship was a little unusual but by the end I was satisfied with how things turned out and that Triscia had to come to her decisions and conclusions on her own. (18+ scenes: MM, MFMM, MMF)

I enjoyed the audio performance for this book very much. All three narrators - Vivianna Marlowe, Curt Bonnem, and Erin Bateman did a really great job. The story itself left me kind of straddling the line. The h felt a bit wishy washy she blames her mom for feeling “dirty” for liking what happened with her and the 3 guys but she knows her mom has a health issue so it’s time to stop comparing yourself, and she was definitely a runner, which is one of my pet peeves in books, characters who run and don’t listen to what happened. That said, I still enjoyed the rest of the story very much and really liked the rest of the characters.
