A book of short articles relative to Christian doctrine, Christian life, and Christian culture. Written in the style of a devotional, it has more depth than typical Christian devotionals. The topics will challenge the reader to apply the principles after a thoughtful inquiry.
Martin Murphy has a B.A. in Bible from Columbia International University and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He devoted over thirty years in biblical studies and research to prepare for writing books on basic Christian doctrine. He and his wife Mary live in Dothan, Alabama.
As the saying goes, I’m no longer a spring chicken and come January 2020 I’ll be 69 years young.
Since I began reading non-fiction Christian books about a year-and-a-half ago, and with my having read/reviewed over 260 books so far this year with about 45% [approx. 120] of them being for Christian books I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and new knowledge of the Christian faith; principle/canons, living, and ethos.
It’s said that life comes age and that with age comes wisdom. Reading this book will give its Christian readers new enlightenment that they might have somehow missed. Like devotionals, this book has its readers reflect on what they’ve read regarding the myriad of Christian values in each of 60 short stories it contains, a reflection that might even challenge them to reapply what they’ve held for a long time and look at everything in new and perhaps a more profound way.
Yes, with age comes wisdom and wisdom that won’t hurt if it gets updated. It’s for this reason, I’m giving Mr. Murphy the 5 STARS he’s garnered from this reviewer of Christian books.
