Hazel and her husband stopped being separate people years ago. They live their happy life in the always crowded, mostly sunny, and sometimes sweltering city of LA. Though they haven’t managed it yet, plans are afoot to add a kitty to the household, thereby giving the allergist fits.

Hazel has been writing full-time for several years, with some traditionally published work in other genres. But it’s her indie-published romance that fuels the creative fire. It turns out writing isn’t a job, it’s an obsession.

When you can pry Hazel’s fingers from the laptop, you’ll find her: on the elliptical watching a documentary, indulging her audiobook habit, or spending quality time with Candy Crush. Although she’s vegan, she’s a disaster in the kitchen. Luckily, potato chips and pinot noir come ready-made.

Domnall
A Scotish Time Travel Romance
Immortal Highlander, Clan Mag Raith #1
By Hazel Hunter
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jenna Cameron doesn't know how or why, but she wakes up in 14th Century Scotland with a brawny highlander who for some reason makes her feel safe. She has sacrificed everything for her a career as an architect especially love, but this highlander changes all that.

Domnall Mag Raith can hardly believe Jenna's sudden appearance in the enchanted forest. He and his band of brothers once woke up there in exactly the same way. Now this beautiful lass in front of him bears the same baffling tattoos as he and his men do. He can feel a powerful attraction that binds him to Jenna in a way he cannot understand.

Now Jenna, Domnell, and his men search for any clue that could help, one of the oldest, scariest, and grimmest of all Celtic legends is about to find them. Will Jenna and Domnell be able to survive what will be unleashed on them and will they get their memories back in time to stop it?

Hazel Hunter is brilliant. She brings hot, hunky, immortal Highlanders back to life and pairs them off with strong mortal women. This is a hot, sexy, read that is packed full of action. I was hooked from page one and couldn't put this book down. Domnall and Jenna have amazing chemistry that just leaps off of the pages and touches your soul. I can not wait to see what Ms. Hunter has in store for the other men in the series.

Domnall

I liked this story with a continuation of the druids and quest for the Highlanders. Some things have changed as the druids seem to be less friendly and willing to help the men. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Dark times ahead❣️

Firstly, I have to state I have never read a time travel romance and I haven’t indulged in a Highlander book since I was a teenager. That said I did have to read a little slower initially to get the gist of the language and it’s differences but once I did I was off😀

Jenna wakes up in the 14th Century and is found by Domnall. Unfortunately, she doesn’t remember much about her life before waking up where she did, but she does remember she was an architect! Both her and Domnall are taken with each other and as they try to discover more about her past, it unravels more dangers than either expected.

A great story and I look forward to Mael’s next😍 Thank you to Hazel for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review.

Another trip into the past with several twists. Hazel Hunter seems to find new and unique ways to bring her hero and heroine together. This new Immortal Highlander series has combined love, lust, with a new enemy they must defeat. Not only is there everyone's unusual talents but no memory of how they came to have them. Will our couple come together and remember what happened to them to bring them to this place but can they find a way to defeat the enemies they must face?

Domnall is the leader of his group of friends. One day many many years in the past they came to find themselves in an ash tree grove with no memory of the time that had passed. They became the guardians of the Moss Dapple druids lead by Ruadri Skaranven's father. One day, many years later, a naked woman shows up in the same ash grove, with Domanll's markings on her back. She only knows her name Jenna Cameron and profession architect. Taken to Galan the headman of the Moss Dapple she's locked up twice and escapes both times. The last time she confronts the lies that Galan has told everyone for years. This leads to Domnall and his men to take Jenna and leave. Only to have an attempt made on her life. As they journey toward where the Mag Raith's lives changed forever they encounter demons who try to take Jenna. When they reach their destination they begin to settle in and go to a local village to trade. Meanwhile Galan has been kicked out of his tribe of druids and ends up working with the Sluath to track down the group. He then hires some mercenaries to help him search. They come across the village where Mag Raiths traded and the mercenaries attack. Needing help Galan summons the Sluath. Jenna and Domnall come together and make love and declare themselves. A memory comes back to her. Jenna wants to explore the ruins of the keep they were looking for. When they trip a couple of traps set by Cul, the mysterious inhabitant of the castle. They decide to leave and live elsewhere. Before they can move on Jenna triggers another trap and a Sluath scout finds them. A battle ensues and Jenna is mortally wounded. Domnall thinking his heart is lost forever proceeds to say good-bye. They get a surprise when she wakes up with more memories. They plan to stay at Dun Chaill.

Hazel Hunter's new Immortal Highlander book brings the past and the present together again but with a new twist. A loss of memory and a unique demon like enemy have you on the edge of your seat wondering when will be the next attack, who or what are these Sluath. Can they survive another attack? Who's the next Mag Raith clan member to find the woman of his heart. Will these Immortal Highlanders meet up with their counterparts at some point. I hope at some point during this hopefully long running series that the different clans can come together and form alliances. I look forward to more of the Immortal Highlanders along the the next book in the Mag Raith Series. I can't wait.

"I did something really stupid"

Delectable, immortal highlander Domnall mag Raith takes one look at Jenna Cameron who falls into the fourteenth century as naked as the day she is born and falls for her immediately. Jenna may not be immortal, but she is a girl with something extra unbeknownst to Domnall and the Pritani hunters.

While Domnall is thrilled with Jenna's arrival in Moss Dapple, headman dru-wid Galan Aedth is not and quickly banishes Jenna from Moss Dapple. Once Jenna is dismissed, Domnall and the hunters, Mael, Edane, Broden and Kiaran, follow suit leaving Moss Dapple unprotected. Not long after the hunter's departure, it doesn't take long for the Moss Dapple tribe to evict the headman. Galan finds himself with no tribe and nowhere to go. In his desperation, he strikes a deadly deal with the Sluath deamhan prince Iolar.

Prince Iolar has no use for mortals but agrees to let Galan serve him by locating the hunters. Once Galan has delivered the hunters to him, Iolar agrees that he will resurrect Galan's long-dead wife, Fiana. Meanwhile, Domnall and the hunters find sanctuary at Dun Chaill. Along the journey, one by one, each of the hunters come to care for Jenna. Especially with the strange going on at Dun Chaill which are more than just things that go bump in the night. Jenna wants to make a home of Dun Chaill although Domnall intends to leave the cursed place.

Unbelievably I enjoyed this time travel tale. So much so that I am moving on to read Mael. Hazel Hunter has a knack for writing compelling time travel themed stories that flex the imagination and leaves the reader wanting more. Most helpful for the brogue in this series is that a glossary and pronunciation guide is mercifully included.

I will admit when I started this book I wound up a little confused at the beginning. Base on her other scottish time travel books, this book was a bit cloudy on what had happened. However all the questions I had were answered in the book and the storyline for this clan is looking very promising.

You start the book with Jenna, who is awaking in the past at the foot of an ash tree without a stitch of clothing on. Domnall finds her and doesn't remark on her nakedness, but he notices that she has the same tattoo down her spine that he has on his arm. After giving her something to cover herself, he takes her to the dru-wids to find out how she had gotten there.

They share a powerful attraction between them, and have all sorts of legends come to life around them, but will they come together to solve the mysteries after they are revealed? Or will all the strangest be too much for Jenna who will want to find a way back home?

Giving the full book time to reveal the mysteries was one of the best things I have ever done. I don't think you will be disappointed in picking up this series as the characters will come to life for you. I did receive a free copy of this book so that I may review it honestly.

Jenna Cameron fell through time and space only to land in the Scottish highlands, naked and marked. She has no memory of who she is or how she got there.

He saw her fall and was there to rescue her. His name is Domnall mag Raith. What happened to her, also happened to him, only twelve centuries earlier! Not only had they both escaped the grove of stars, but they also share the same ink glyphs. You know this is not an accident.

Their journey is filled with mystery, evil and passion! The story is flawless and packed with surprises and revelations that will keep readers attached long into the night. Luckily, this is the first in a new series and has me looking forward to many more hours of enjoyment as we uncover the stories about these mysterious Pritani men and their women.

I received an ARC of this book and am posting an honest review based on the work presented. Fabulous story, wonderful characters and thoroughly entertaining right to the end. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. Not to be misses, a real five star treat.

Time travel at it’s very best….
Although this was a Scottish Time Travel story which Hazel is so very good at writing in fact to be honest, I find that she excels at it, the main characters have escaped and even though they face constant peril the have to deal with a totally different world and time without actually understanding exactly what has happened.
There are monsters and druids and demons however the story is very different and is filled with lots of surprises, I had been waiting for the first book in this new series and must say that I have not been at all disappointed.
Once you begin reading this story you will find it difficult to put it down until you reach the very last page, I’m looking forward to the second book in this series.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Once I started this adventure there was no putting the the book down.
Jenna had only one thought in her head my name is Jenna Cameron that was all she had to hold onto because she awoke in Scotland naked with no other memories. It was a good thing that Domnall found her. He couldn't believe his eyes because it was the same spot 12 centuries before he and his men awoke and she had his same glyphs on her back as he had on his arm.
His people had once been the pritani and had battle spirits to guide them . But one they were taken they battle spirits, there origami marks, there people. Now they have these's glyphs and done know how they got them or what they mean.
The druids tell them only the gods could

Wow what a story and new bad guys! I loved it it's full of action, mystery, drama, and so much more. The characters are so amazing you can't help but just fall into the story.
It's a must read! Don't miss it
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

Easy five stars. Jenna wakes up and doesn’t remember anything. Domnall finds her. Both feel a connection but neither remember how they arrived there. Domnall is an Immortal Highlander and Jenna is a modern woman.

Hazel Hunter writes amazing time travels and fabulous Highlanders. This is the first book of a new series and I’m anxiously awaiting the rest of the books. I particularly appreciated Jenna. She’s smart, savvy and reasons things out rather than jumping to conclusions. She recognizes that she doesn’t remember her past but instead of boohoo-ing about it, she gets on with the business of surviving. Course it probably helps that she knows Domnall is “the one”, and he’s hot. Adventure, mystery and evil villains. A great story. Warning: you won’t be able to put it down, so start early enough or you’ll be up all night like I was. Highly recommended. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

This book begins a new series by Hazel Hunter. This is a time travel story with love, brotherhood, sacrifice, and action. The story is intriguing from the beginning. The characters Domnall, and Jenna have suffered the same fate. They have been stripped of their memories, and past life. They share the same markings/tattoos, and feel an energetic connection. Jenna has time
traveled, and has acclimated well to her new life. She stands up for herself, and discovers that she
has a new power. Domnal, and Jenna feel a strong bond that draws them together. Will they recall their past, people, and memories? The story also connects the readers between two worlds. I loved
reading this book, I am looking forward to book #2!

I have long been a fan of and enjoyed Hazel Hunter's books. Domnall has been added to my favorites list. I love the details that have been written in this book to make it unique from her other Highlander books. Neither Jenna nor Domnall remember what happened or where they came from, at first, but there is an irresistible urge to be together that is there from the minute they meet. They both fight this urge as they struggle to find the truth as to why they were brought to this point in time, but with the help of the clan, they are able to overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. Hunter does a wonderful job of creating the world of Medieval Scotland, and along with strong characters and a great plot, this book is a definite read.

The only thing she remembers are her name and her profession as an architect. Jenna Cameron knows not how she came to awake naked in a strange land. Domnall also knows what it's like to wake without all his memories intact. He and his Mag Raith "brothers" awoke under similar circumstances. He feels a connection to the unique woman who has the same inkwork on her back, that graces his arm. This first book in HH's new series is steeped in mystery, deception, and romance. From the start Domnall and Jenna share a kinship and chemistry that is sweet and intense. I look forward to the next book in this series.

I was disappointed with this book. It had the flavor of a very young writer with all the "and then this happened..." Out of the blue strangeness that had no foreshadowing or seeming reason... I understand Hunter was trying to show that no one knew what was going on, but the reader wants to feel like the author knows what's going on, and I wasn't sure. Why did they remember some things and not others? The bad guy spirits didn't want Jenna to begin with, but then did, and there's no explanation of why. I like Hunter's book and will read the next. I hope she has done with the "And then this happened" stuff and starts explaining!

I find time travel novels very enjoyable and this one is no different, but it has a twist. The main characters are slaves that have escaped and found themselves in very different worlds some from the past and the other from the future. With demons, druids and monsters nothing is predictable and you'll find yourself reading just a little more and just a little more. It's a great first book of a new series full of action, suspense and magic. A great combination that makes it hard to put down.

Oh wow Hazel Hunter has done it again with the beginning of this new series.
Although this is still a time traveling story, it's completely different from the last ones.
The characters are all so individually original. I think their personalities are great.
The storyline really draws you in trying to make you guess what's going to happen next. I was enthralled by all the hunters and beliefs.
The excitement and action in the story kept me turning the pages. I can't wait to see what the next book brings.

Exciting and Way Too Crazy

It's a great story not like any time travel I've ever read. It's such a fantasy spiritual tale there's no predicting what could happen next. The romance is superb and heart pounding. But you get to the end only to find the fantasy horrors will continue in each of the next books. I'm not into this type of weird spirit creatures and very evil ones at that. So I'll stop here with my reading as the book 1 did end with peace even though I know it's a long way from over.

This has a different feeling to the other immortal highander series, this is definitely a different clan so the risk of déjà vu while reading is nicely side stepped. Jenna is a great character independant and unwilling to change her behaviour just to fit into a different era. This book is great fun to read, and I love the vilain in this one - I did wonder if we'd come across Galan again. The Sluath are great additions too.

Well-written storyline and strong, characters, with action, intrigue, danger and romance, make this an awesome start to the new series! I highly recommend this story to time travelling Highland lovers everywhere.

I have read all of Hazel Hunter's time travel/Scottish highlander series. Domnall did not let me down! Jenna's character is my favorite so far. She is intelligent, calm, snarky, and full of passion. Domnall is her perfect match. If you like humor, suspense, mystery, and passion, this book will take you on a fun romp. Make sure you are comfortable when you start reading. You won't want to stop until the final page! PS: I am an ARC reader who loves her job!!!

Great

This is about a small band of hunters who came together as friends before they were taken to the underworld by demons. Somehow they escaped and have been protecting a druid village for more than twelve hundred years when a young woman was found in the circle of ash trees. She came from the modern time. The story moves along while they try to remember what happened to them. Great story, very exciting.

My first book by this author and the blurb pulled me in. It’s interesting and unique. After reading the entire book, I still feel the need to dig for more answers, to uncover the truths and deceptions. Domnall and Jenna have a love that has expanded time and will not cease. It’s a drive that neither knew but will fight for. It’s beautiful and hot and pulls you in. I’m eager to continue on with this series.

The author has written many great time travel romances and this new series is a great addition.

It is a great read for those who enjoy historical romances with a twist. There is plenty of action and romance and a dangerous enemy to keep it all very exciting.

I liked the characters and enjoyed the story and would recommend it.
