The story of Mary Anne Disraeli, 'Mrs Dizzy', wife of one of England's greatest statesmen, is almost the perfect love story. A unique personality in her own right, she was the wife of two demonstrably successful marriages; rising from a middle-class background to be the wife of the most celebrated man in the country; loving children but never to have any of her own.
