Beautiful pictures are just like the namesake's catalogs. Didn't find the decorating information particularly helpful. Has very specific room layouts if you want a by-the-book design. Didn't find it super helpful in teaching you how to DIY. Pretty much white/cream walls throughout the book are for people who like light walls. Design concepts seem to center around neutrals with splashes of color through accessories.

Yup, I read an interior design book. It was awesome.
I think pottery barn is terribly overpriced, but I like to read their books and magazines for ideas.
