Just like the 1st book, the events from the first chapter appear as a cameo in the last chapter. I feel like the stories are more creepier than the 1st book. I was scared to read those at night. XD
this is a collection of really quite nice ghost stories. it's outlined as a gathering of individuals each recounting a horror story and afterward extinguishing a candle, extremely formal. this aided make it simple to suspend my doubt and excuse unexplained viewpoints to the narratives since they're introduced as the memories of people - and memories can be broken. i can't say the actual tales are excessively astounding, yet they engaged me during my read-through and by and large have a pleasant circular segment to them. there's a ton of frightening ladies and body morphings and histories with abuse. my greatest objection is with the manner in which the last section brought the awfulness outside of the narrating.
This is a collection of horror short stories. People are playing a game callled Monogatari, which consists on telling a 100 stories, and then something paranormal happens, or so they say.
The creppiest one is the last one, especially because of that last part were talk about how you got to the 100 story, and how you have to take care of yourself ans avoid darkness.
As a horror fan, who also enjoys short stories, this fits me like a glove.
Highly recommend. Way better if read at night.
Four stars only because I believe it could have been scarier.
(Also, huge fan of this author's work!)

Another bunch of bizarre stories, just the fact that people were sitting in a circle with candles gave me the creeps. If you like horror and little stories this is a must read.
