An excellent reference book on Japanese Pottery, it includes making basic ceramics and is extensively illustrated and labeled in English and Japanese. Also has basic toolmaking with numerous drawings, kilns, workshops, etc. Sadly no photos, but I think with an appropriate teacher, it would make a great textbook.
