Over the many years since Emily became aware of her sometimes unbearable craving for spanking, ravishment, and all the shameful things that go with it, she has tried to come to terms with that craving in more ways than she can count. The first of the ways was by reading, voraciously, every piece of BDSM erotica she could find.

Eventually, she read "Story of O." As is reflected throughout her work, it changed her life, though the change has been gradual, and continues to this day. The idea that other women might share the lusts she has by turns been ashamed of and defiantly proud of, that a woman like the real Pauline Réage might write so beautifully of those lusts, and work them out so thoroughly and even pitilessly on a character, put Réage's famous pencil in her right hand. Or, to put it in the terms of EXPLORATIONS, which she considers her magnum opus, it put her left hand on the keyboard of her laptop and her right hand in her lap, if you know what she means. Emily started to write spanking stories.

Space travel is expensive, so when our stowaway destroys the experiment which is the entire purpose for the voyage, she needs to be punished. So our heroine becomes the sexual plaything for the entire crew.

Okay, so you might not think that is an appropriate punishment and it would be hard to argue with that today. But this is set in the author's alternate future world with sexual punishment has become the norm, so this is less strange than it might seem. So let's take space flight and the author's dystopian future at face value and go from there.

This is an erotic story of involving D/S, dubcon, some bondage, and sexual punishments. There are also a lot of sex scenes in various combinations, including single and multiple partners of both males and females (no M/M activities). It is all presented in the author's usual style, but with far more variety that most of her stories.

Assuming you accept all the above, the story is very well written with interesting characters and lots of steam. I found it easy to read and highly enjoyable.

OMG I cannot believe what I just read. This is sooooo hot you will wriggle and squirm and end up with wet panties !!! I dare you to try and read this and put it down before you finish it - Believe me I tried and ended up picking it back up straight away. The story line behind this is so far fetched that you can almost believe this could happen. I loved the way this started out with just one young virgin being effectively forced to become a "sex toy" for 14 male & female astronauts who are on a 2 year mission with no sex allowed, but ends up being a lot lot more than that. If your not into heavy public sex scenes, humiliation, dominance and group sex then this is probably not for you, but it is probably one of the hottest reads I've read in while.

The first thought that came to my mind when I started this one was the quote, "out of the frying pan and into the fire" because that is exactly the situation Tilly finds herself in. I know that situation is a common one, but I doubt many people end up in a fire as hot as the one Tilly finds herself in. If you have read anything by Emily Tilton before, then you will understand the way her writing pulls you into the story. You will also know that the dirty is a level that sometimes makes you squirm. They captivate you and leave you breathless until the end. If you haven't read anything by Ms. Tilton then you need to correct that error ASAP. The complex characters, surprising situations, and titillating scenes will have you coming back for more.

Sizzing, Sexy a Hot, Hot, Hot read…
This was a wonderful sexy read and was so hot! Hot! HOT! read that I thoroughly enjoyed and that I would recommend as a fairly short and sexy exciting read. I can guarantee that once you begin reading you will not be able to put the book down it will tie you to your seat, I guarantee that.
The actual plot was something that I would never have contrived however Sara did and this turned out absolutely enthralling and I must say that it stretched the imagination but oh! Oh! OH! What a totally terrific read that I am sure you will enjoy very, very much.

As I started reading this story, I wasn’t sure if I would finish it, but I stuck with it and read it till the end. There is nonconsensual punishment and sex especially with Tilly in the beginning, can one say she has totally consented after being forced, that is debatable! The book was well written, the story flowed very well. So, if you cannot stomach nonconsensual punishment of a woman by males and females then do not get this book!!! When the author says it is dark, she means it!

This was an interesting start with an intriguing chase and an explosive discovery. I thought the storyline went down hill from there. It was a shameful story full of sex scenes that shouldn't have happened. What else would they have done given their circumstances, but use her? To not allow her do something else to appease them was awful. There wasn't a storyline behind this either, which made for disappointing read. It was all about using her to satisfy them during their time away. And to make the reader okay with it, the young woman decides she deserves the treatment? Not a fan.

This was a great addition to the series. The storyline is full of adventure and good times. The character Tilly is just trying to get away from her troubles on earth but maybe jumped in the fire . Sadden by lack of detail

I loved the concept of this book. Girl forced to serve an entire group of men. The start of the book is very well written and descriptive. However towards the end the author seems to grow bored and leaves out all the little details that make my painted wet. :( After which the story is concluded with an abrupt end during what could have been the best part of the book.

Interesting experiment

I love Emily Tilton's use of language. The way that she talks about shame and the words she chooses to use just make everything more erotic and 🔥🔥🔥 hotter than it might otherwise be.

I have to wonder how much Selecta manipulated everything for this exact outcome. It is something they would do.

I've read Emily's books before but there was something about this one that I couldn't get into I found but hard to digest binncertain places and I have read books like this before and not had a problem I don't know what for was with this one I just couldn't read it all without feeling uncomfortable.

To escape her problems on Earth, Tilly stows away on a spacecraft heading for Saturn. When she damages the equipment required for the ships mission, Tilly becomes their new research. This is a fast-paced read with off the charts hot steam. I liked it.

I usually enjoy Emily Tilton's books - but this one fell short for me. The "romance" seemed forced. I didn't like that all of Tilly's choices were taken away from her - it was just too harsh. This one definitely wasn't a favorite.
