This book doesn't include any mention of the Pipestone Creek bone bed near Grande Prairie. It's one of the richest dinosaur bone beds in the world, and several new species have been discovered there, and in other smaller deposits in the area. The bone bed was discovered in 1972 and has been the site of active excavation since 1973. If they leave that out, what else are they ignoring? It's an extremely bizarre omission if they did any research at all.

Actually I’m still reading this book but I’ve perused it thoroughly. I plan to use this in the summer for some road trips and I’m finding the information to be really informative and well detailed. I’ll be continuing to refer to this book for quite some time. I’m actually reading the second edition so I’m sure this has more information than the first book. Edited .July 2018- Yes I’ve used us for a few of my road trips already including Grand Prairie, Bodo and Okotoks.
