This is a classic Alexa Riley quickie!!

Living the life of the privileged with money her world crashed and crumbled around her after her fathers illicit dealings were broadcast across the internet, she thought she knew alone but that was before now no one wants to know. Now she’s sleeping on her only friends sofa and paying her for way by driving strangers all over the city. Then a stranger gets in her car and changes her world in one night. She falls for Harris hard and fast, but will he still want her once he learns her secrets and her past?!
Harris is a well respected business man who restores building to their former glory it’s coming to the end of his latest project and is dealing with the details when late at night he calls for a driver. One look and he knows she’s the one he had edited a lifetime for. She’s skittish around him and he can see the pain and secrets in her eyes. He wants to make it all go away and now he’s found her he’s keeping her as his always and forever. If only he can make her believe it.

Esta es la clasica novela de Alexa Riley pero con un punto un poco diferente y la verdad es que me sorprendio para bien.
La historia es tierna, bonita y sencilla, ademas encontre muy bienvenido que Harris ( el protagonista masculino ) no fuera tan cavernicola como los personajes que suelen crear estas autoras, obviamente es un poco posesivo ( como no podia ser de otra forma ) pero en rasgos generales fue bastante entrañable y no demasiado dominante.
En resumen, este libro es uno de los mejores que he leido de este duo, es muy ameno y entretenido.

Lift truly reminded me of why I love Alexa Riley! I loved Sloan from the very beginning - she was down on her luck, but was really working to pull herself up by her bootstraps despite her situation. While I loved Harris (and his OTT yet sweet alpha, possessiveness), I do wish we had gotten to know more about him (especially in regards to his relationship with Sloan's roomie). Their love story was sweet in a way unique to AR and this was a slow burn in a way I wasn't expecting, but thoroughly enjoyed. 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Another quick, sweet, safe read from Alexa Riley!
Loved Harris. He is an OTT possessive alpha who also has a big sweet side.
I usually have a hard time liking the heroines, but I actually liked Sloan. She hesitated slightly at first, but ultimately, she didn't fight what was happening between her and Harris. Which was a breath of fresh air.

How i love myself a smitten hero who takes it upon himself to claim his woman after their first meeting! A true hero,worthy the affection of his heroine Sloan Martinez. The scene where they shop in a grocery store was so romantic that i simply swooned! My favourite part of this novella!

I haven’t binged AR in a while, but now I’m confused.
Where’s the smutty goodness?!
This was insta everything and full of OTT alpha shenanigans, but I was expecting more steam. All in all a good quick read, but not quite what I expected from the dynamic duo of smut.

I only enjoyed this insta love read. Didn’t love it like I usually do with their books. Plenty of alpha male & sweet innocent in this one. Throw in some action and it’s an okay read.

"Lift" is the story of Sloan and Harris.
So been away from GR for a month now due to career commitments, and finally finished the exam to return back to NORMAL life. Wanted to read something to end my drought, found a new AR had been released, and one clicked it. Turned out to be a sweet sip of mango juice!
In this book, we had
-A tiny adorable heroine who's been through hard times, and now barely scrapes through by driving a borrowed car and ubering people
-A workaholic hero who finds himself entranced by his cute, blonde driver
-Sweet courting, hungry kisses and loads of dry humping
-Diabetic lovemaking
-Mild drama and then HEA
Typical AR trope with double V card and loads of positivity. We need to find such worshiping men, LOL. However, the secondary characters just seemed like fillers in this one.

OH my, I love an OTT alpha who finds the love of his life as the driver of a Lift app. It gave me lots of happy smiles and in need of a good fan.
Sloan is trying to make money in the only way she can as a Lift driver. It's hard for her to get a job since her dad was convicted of fraud and the cell slammed shut. She went from boarding school to foster care. She works in the not so nice area of town but she knows it well. She gets a call for a pickup and when she arrives for the pickup the man gets in and she takes off for the destination of a grocery store.
Harris is trying to figure the driver out. When he talks to the driver he doesn't turn around and he can't tell if it's a boy or girl driving. He reaches over the seat and grabs the kids shoulder. Next thing he hears is the car filled with screaming. "I have pepper spray."

Sloan está sufriendo por los pecados de sus padres. Sin dinero, sin casa y sin amigos, se reencuentra con una vieja compañera de colegio que le ofrece un trato. Aceptará cualquier cosa, lo que sea con tal de no estar en la calle. Eso es hasta que conoce a Harris, y él no dejará que acepte menos que lo mejor.
Que monos son siempre en las historias de estas mujeres de verdad ❤️ me hacía falta un poco de romance del bueno y ñoño porque el libro anterior me dejó un poco revuelta.
Harris y Sloan son un cliché con patas como siempre pero es lo que yo quería y necesitaba. Como siempre, lo mejor para pasar el rato.

This was a very good, quick sexy read. This story was a good ole Alexa Riley story. Harris was a sweet and sexy alpha male. He is definitely one of my favourite men by her. Sloan was a such a sweetheart. I wish we got a little more background on Harris, there wasn’t much about his past and I wanted to know him a little better. Of course now I am back to waiting anxiously for her next book, lol!

Sloan is trying to making in the world where everyone judges her for what her parents did... Harris is a workaholic with no time for women. One ride is all it takes for Harris and Sloan to know they are the one for each other. Insta everything and chemistry so hot. Sloan tries to protect herself from the harsh world of reality but will Harris be able to take over that role for her??? Another amazing book from AR!!!

Cute AR story. I liked that our heroine was a former rich girl dealing with the drama of her parents. I also liked that the hero, while being part of that rich kid world, wasn't really sucked into it.
