A very important study about the settlement or capital of the first Known invasion of Egypt. The Hyksos built a fortified city with a royal palace in Eastern Delta and expanded south to Tell el-Yahudiya.
They didn't found the city, they developed a settlement and commercial activity society. That settlement dates back to the reign of king Amenemhat I. The excavations at Tell el-Dab'a shed light on many points ethnically and historically.
Insanely interesting!
