The Kennedy connection

Not a bad read but even for a short story -it is really short at only 84% of the page count. The characters are still developing and it would have been so much better if the plot and the characters had been fleshed out more.
She is under new medication, for anxiety, and that's why her newly inherited cottage is being spring cleaned. However all this grinds to a halt when her cat draws her attention to the covered pool. A body is discovered at the bottom. Calling her detective friend to get things in motion, she tries to calm down. Why is the woman there? As they investigate they discover that the woman had mad several discovers of items purchased for one of the Kennedy's mistresses. Can they discover what really happened? Or will the case be solved by her cat, Miss Coco?

A very entertaining and engaging cozy mystery!!

This was a GREAT short, short cozy mystery story. It was amazing the amount that was covered in such a few pages. Surprisingly it didn't feel rushed or incomplete either. It was fun becoming acquainted with Taylor, Tom and most importantly Miss Coco! I love this cat already and I am not a big cat person! A fun, clean, and very quick read that I personally would recommend.

Poolside Catastrophe

Miss Coco is agitated; there's something wrong with the pool. Yowling as loud as possible, Miss Coco captures the attention of her owner, Taylor. Once the cover is lifted from the pool, the ghastly discovery is made.

Taylor contacts Detective Ford, and the race to track down a murderer begins. But Miss Coco isn't done investigating yet; things are not as they seem, and Miss Coco won't rest until the mystery is solved, and her life gets back to normal!

Poolside Catastrophe is a cute little mystery. 4.4 stars

I enjoy cozy mysteries, especially those with cats or dogs assisting their owners in solving the mystery. Miss Coco is a beautiful and intelligent cat whose instincts never lead her astray. She happily informs her owner when she spots a dead body in the pool and later when she finds the clincher of a clue that solves the murder. Enjoyable short read!

A 30 min fast read.

This should be book #2 or even #1.5. It lacked character introduction. Overall a good basic novella but, for me, lacked substance. Everything just slotted neatly into place. I feel a prequel is needed to answer all the questions left unanswered.

Good book!

But solving a murder in 40 minutes of reading gives no time for character development except for Miss Coco the cat.

I had to goggle diamante. However, I did figure out who the murderer was much earlier in the story. I enjoyed the story and highly recommend both Miss Coco and this book.

A New Person

This is a new experience for me haven't had much dealing with a murder solving cat. Very interesting and am wondering where you go with these characters.

It was an okay read. It felt incomplete and kinda rushed. I know that's expected for a 41pg book, but it felt like parts of a bigger novel.

Miss Coco is a most clever cat, able to find bodies and clues more quickly than the police. The tale is cute and the characters are interesting. This is a nice quick read for a rainy day.
