Short but sweet second chance romances for silver backed grizzly shifters who thought they were beyond ever finding a mate or having cubs.
All the stories share a few characters, but can be read as stand alone, shorter stories than some romances but still have back plots and action, and lots of family love. Each of these mature males are wishing for a mate, and children would be a bonus, so when they meet their fated mates it's instant love at first sight! Even when abusive exes or other problems crop up they are ready to take them on, anything to keep their new mate happy and safe!

Six books, six stories but all connected in one way or another. They were good stories that I enjoyed quite a bit but was often pulled out of the story by what I'll refer to as typos. These books would have benefitted greatly from a good editor. There were far too many instances of words being in the incorrect order, such as, going was instead of was going. Also way too many times the sentences should have contained contractions but didn't so didn't read well because people do not talk that way or they don't talk like that. Aside from that and a few instances of incorrect words such as for instead of from, they were a fun read and I enjoyed them.

I have read and reviewed each book as they came out but jumped to buy the box set as I love having books together in box sets for easy rereading.
I love this authors style of humour, the heart warming ethos of her stories and the totally likeable characters she brings to life in her books and the fact his set is all about older couples seals the deal for me.

I love these books! Each has a real plot including relationship issues, personal feelings, and other aspects of life regardless of whether shifter or what passes for normal human. These books make the reader feel part of the community and all are feelgood tales with happy ending. They are also short enough for a quick pick you up. If you don't care to read erotica, just skip that page but don't miss the story!

A terrific collection of stories!
This was a great spin-off to the Bear Creek/Bear Bluff series! You don't have to read the other series to enjoy this one, but I highly suggest that you check them out. They're all fantastic stories that are full of fun and quirky characters, humor, love, drama, and some light suspense. You won't want to miss any of these great books.
I would definitely recommend this book and exceptional author.

Enjoyable collection
The Silverbacks and Second Chances Complete Box set was an enjoyable collection of stories. The plots were similar but had interesting solutions to allow a HEP ending. It was fun to have the complete series in one file which allowed me to read all six books as time permitted.

Excellent set of stories.....
Combined in one kindle book💕💕💕💕💕what more could a girl want😍
Plenty of romance, and if course, fated mates.... Also some loving scenes throughout.

fun read
reminds me of the Harlequin books I used to read but with shifters. Great in an evening read or for binge reading. All the men are built sexy and handsome no matter the age. All the shifters mate for life and do not lie. All the ladies are in need of a sexy guy to love them. Adult readers due to sexual content.

An Enjoyable Binge Read. 4 Star's
Each Silverback and Second Chance story was an enjoyable quick read, each being interconnected with the one before in some small way, and each with a HEA ending.
I enjoyed the family and friend's bond throughout each story and will definitely be reading more of Harmony Raines book's.
Side note: For a more mature audience, 18+.

To each their own
Each story has a lesson about life and love. They are all amazing in their own way. But the one thing I have seen through each story is that love has a way of defeating anything standing in the way. No matter how many years one waits, love will find you when you least expect it.

I really enjoy this Author, but I keep finding errors in the story. In one book Hailey sets up Mason an Tiania on a blind date. She was friends to both. In the next story it says Hailey and Mason have only known each other a couple of months instead of being friends since college. I really enjoy her writing but I keep finding these type of mistakes.

These are a fun collection of short related stories. There is not much character building as the insta\mate love definitely shortens the romance part of the story, however the stories are a variety of situations that keep your attention.

Really good stories!
Must be 18 to read! Great characters and plots. Steamy scenes and lots of love of friends and family. There are several typos in each book which can make you stop and wonder and reread the passage to make sense, but otherwise I recommend!

Most of the stories were good
My favorites were Cursed Near and Builder Bear. Blind Date Bear wasn't bad either but Song Bear was just way to cheesy for and Sappy for me. But was a decent read anyway!

Brilliant
I have read a lot of Harmony Raines books but this one, Silverbacks and Second Chances is by far the best especially the story of Frankie and Adam. That story really tugged at the heart strings. I'd recommend this book to anyone.

Cornerbacks and Second Chances Complete Box Set
I'm not really a fan of Bear Shifters, but I actually really enjoyed this collection of romances. The characters were interesting and likable and finding true love at midlife is a real blessing. You will like Harmony Raines.

I recommend this series to anyone that loves to read about second chances - Harmony presented an excellent read, this series was full of drama, suspense and romance - it pulled you in to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next - loved it
