I've been going through a difficult period for some time now. This book has caused me to look at my trials in a profoundly different way. As a result my prayer has changed from, "Lord get me out of this, to Lord what do you want to teach me through this experience, who and how can I serve in the waiting?"

I received an ARC from Broadstreet Publishing Group via NetGalley this review is my personal opinion.

As Christian, we all have dreams and goals. What I like about this book, is that Matthew writes in an honest and also approachable way. He takes us on a journey that will help us and clarify our road in our Christian life. I like how through all the book he says it how what God starts will finish it, how our role (all do we may not understand it) it believes, responds and obey him, He is always up to something more. That life is not just simple events, how God knows exactly what he is doing and how it will all make sense. This book has deepness and a profound message that we all need. It will take you to see life through brand new eyes, to be open with God and be able to answer uncomfortable questions. God's love will sustain and carry us where he wants us to be. I believe that this book is a must-read and could also be a great choice for a small group.

Very good read. The author helped me rethink my current situation. How often do we beg God for the “what lesson can I learn, how can I change?” when enduring trials. More often than not, we pray for God’s deliverance. It’s definitely thought provoking. Would recommend to all Christians and especially those who are suffering with trials.

“Like ripples on a lake, the impact of the events of our lives extends farther than we could imagine. Like threads, all the pieces, people, and places start making sense if we have eyes to see them. There is more to your life than what you can possibly see from where you are standing now. In fact, there is more to your life than you will ever know in this life. The ripples will outlive your body, and the thread of your life will be woven into the threads of other lives in unsuspecting and sometimes invisible ways. I know many interesting people.”

This book is not in my normal genre but the title caught my eye and i was very delighted to receive and arc of it from NetGalley. What a lovely meaningful book that really makes you look inside yourself and realise where you’re complete and where you’ve got work to do on yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed the journey this book took me on and highly recommend it.

Thank you to NetGalley for the arc of Completing Project Me my review is honest and unbiased.
