CHASING IVAN
Europe's smartest criminal, versus America's best spy. And then there's poor Emily, stuck in between.
Rumor has it there's a Russian you can turn to if you're very rich, and need dirty deeds done without a trace. The CIA calls him Ivan the Ghost because he's operated for years without leaving a trail or revealing his face.
Until now. _______________________________________
TWIST AND TURN
Their plan was brilliant, their tactics cunning, but then came a twist, they never saw coming.
In TWIST AND TURN, author Tim Tigner once again delivers a fast-paced, unpredictable ride destined to delight his fans. Replete with the clever characters, original intrigue and thought-provoking predicaments that distinguish his thrillers, the fourth chapter of the international bestselling Kyle Achilles series will turn your throat dry and keep your fingers flipping.
At the center of the action is a — well, we don’t want to spoil it. And then there’s the — oh, best not to mention that either. Suffice it to say that the villains are fresh, complex and fascinating. Their plots inventive and scary. But Katya is back at Achilles’ side, so we might not need to worry. Unless . . . _______________________________________
BOUNDLESS AMBITION
The boundless ambitions of some CEOs and politicians are dangerous, shameless and sly. Only when heroes step forward to fight, will we see the end of their lies.
Our world is plagued by the devious schemes of disguised cheaters and thieves. The worst of these frauds are perpetrated by prominent figures—powerful people with sincere smiles, boundless ambitions, and flexible souls. They play on hope, fear and pride while stealing billions right before our eyes.
Tim began his career in Soviet Counterintelligence with the US Army Special Forces, the Green Berets. That was back in the Cold War days when, “We learned Russian so you didn't have to,” something he did at the Presidio of Monterey alongside Recon Marines and Navy SEALs.
With the fall of the Berlin Wall, Tim switched from espionage to arbitrage. Armed with a Wharton MBA rather than a Colt M16, he moved to Moscow in the midst of Perestroika. There, he led prominent multinational medical companies, worked with cosmonauts on the MIR Space Station (from Earth, alas), chaired the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, and helped write Russia’s first law on healthcare.
Moving to Brussels during the formation of the EU, Tim ran Europe, Middle East, and Africa for a Johnson & Johnson company and traveled like a character in a Robert Ludlum novel. He eventually landed in Silicon Valley, where he launched new medical technologies as a startup CEO.
In his free time, Tim has climbed the peaks of Mount Olympus, went hang gliding from the cliffs of Rio de Janeiro, and ballooned over Belgium. He earned scuba certification in Turkey, learned to ski in Slovenia, and ran the Serengeti with a Maasai warrior. He acted on stage in Portugal, taught negotiations in Germany, and chaired a healthcare conference in Holland. Tim studied psychology in France, radiology in England, and philosophy in Greece. He has enjoyed ballet at the Bolshoi, the opera on Lake Como, and the symphony in Vienna. He’s been a marathoner, paratrooper, triathlete, and yogi.
Intent on combining his creativity with his experience, Tim began writing thrillers in 1996 from an apartment overlooking Moscow’s Gorky Park. Twenty years later, his passion for creative writing continues to grow every day. His home office now overlooks a vineyard in Northern California.
Tim grew up in the Midwest, and graduated from Hanover College with a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics. After military service and work as a financial analyst and foreign-exchange trader, he earned an MBA in Finance and an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

FALLING STARS FALLING STARS (Kyle Achilles #3)Well, when I saw the book set 1-3 coming out, I realized that I had gotten busy and had not provided a review when I finished this book months ago. But Tim Tigner will certainly not disappoint any reader with book #3 of the Kyle Achilles series. And he has been uniquely creative in his utilization of drones to terrorize INDIVIDUAL citizens. The plots moved very quickly, and is certainly hard to predict. And Tigner is definitely refining his writing skills, with Falling Stars the best of the series. The reader will definitely grow to really care about the characters, and especially Kyle Achilles. This plot could be tomorrow’s newspaper headlines. And Tigner’s good guys are definitely good and Tigner’s bad guys are truly evil and despicable. This book moves very fast, and is very hard to put down. Best to start on Friday night when it can be devoured over an entire weekend. Lots and lots of action. And even though this is the “end” of the trilogy, I personally would love to swee these characters continue forward. This is in my opinion Tim Tigner’s best book, but I am equally certain that his next book will be better. Tigner is the first author of the decade whom I think is becoming “competition” for Brad Thor
TWIST AND TURN Tim Tigner certainly does not disappoint his readers who were waiting a year for Book #4 in the Kyle Achilles series. It is hard to imagine how Tigner can keep getting better and better. And I am amazed how the author is able to weave not one but two plots together from beginning to end. Tigner has proven to be a story-teller among the best of thriller-adventure fiction - Flynn, Child, Coes, Baldacci, Jason Kasper, and Brian Haig. His early training and experience in US Army Special Forces is evident in the skills and tactics of Kyle Achilles. Tigner's unique background in multinational business, international pharmaceuticals and new medical technologies gives him singular insight into creating some of the most thought-provoking and simultaneously terrifying medical, high-tech "what-ifs" plots. Tigner's plots are original and unique in this genre. The story moves very quickly, both across the page and across the US, and the "twist and turn" in this plot is totally unexpected and thought-provoking. And in this edition, his fiancee, Katya (Kate in Russian, of course) is a thoroughly captivating character, on par with Kyle Achilles. Don't start this book if you have any productive work that needs to get done, because this book is truly impossible to put down. Strong work Tigner. I have bought paperback copies for my military battle buddies, and will get Audiobooks for my wife and daughter.
Kyle Achilles, a rival for any action hero you've ever read about
Tim Tigner writes the best books. His hero, Kyle Achilles, is a true hero and the action just doesn't stop. From first page to last, I am always hooked. Fast and frenzied yarns, the pages turn themselves as I follow the whirlwind that is Kyle and his world. But don't take my word for it, join in the fun and read them for yourselves.
I've read each Achilles novel and loved them all. Looking forward to the next! Trying to type a review on a kindle while laying down is the most annoying thing ever. The fact that a certain number of words are required to review means I will never review another book here again.
Not only does Tigner give us a unique hero, but he also confronts him with amazing plot concepts like drone-based murder and arson, imaginative adversaries, and relationship complications. I especially liked the interplay between Kyle and Katya and Oz and Sabrina.
These were really good books. They kept me engaged and turning pages throughout. I was hesitant to give 5 stars because they were not the "best of the best" but they were definitely better than "good" so it really is 4 1/2 stars to me.
Lots of twist in every few chapters that makes you hooked up and be on a reading spree. Kyle Achilles series from Tim definitely deserves to be goodreads!!
