Tarun Campbell was setting out on an adventure. At least, it should have felt like one. She’d never left her small village before, and traveling all the way to Nevada was a nerve-wracking prospect. But her shifter gift warned that a threat was directed at the Blood and Bone Enforcers MC, and she had to warn them in person. They’d be lost if she wasn’t there to help, so she was going to put her big girl panties on and do what needed to be done.
Luke Carlisle was struggling. His gift had become too dangerous to use, and he was on the verge of leaving the Enforcers when an avenging angel landed on his doorstep. Tarun tells him something evil is coming the Enforcer’s way—and that he could die if she’s not there. He’s willing to take the risk, ordering her to go home. But she refuses. The spark in her eyes as she defies him should make him angry, except the more he sees it, the more he’s drawn to her.
Lions and tigers are natural enemies, but hatred isn’t what Luke feels for spunky Tarun. As his enemy comes at him, Luke must fight to keep his Enforcer family safe. And his new distraction isn’t helping by constantly putting herself at risk, trying to fight for him. He has to figure out how to save them all—especially Tarun. Because if he loses her, there won’t be any saving himself.
Grace has been reading romance all her life, only recently getting up the nerve to share and publish her own stories. She loves all genres, but shifters have a special place in her heart, so that's what she writes about. She's lived all over the place, but she calls Indiana home at the moment. She has an adorable little boy, two dogs, and a tattoo addiction that she doesn't want to fight!

I absolutely loved this one!!! Luke and the Blood and Bone Enforcers have been making appearances in basically all of the previous War Cat books and the last of the Fighters series. Luke and Tarun are soo great together and are really a strong couple. Tarun comes to the Enforcers to warn them, especially Luke, that they are in danger. It's the first time she's left the War Cat territory and she knew she needed to help - that she's going to find her mate on her trip was unexpected. Luke is sweet and really one of the good ones!! He has to learn fast that there is a lot more to his mate than meets the eye. I devoured the book, with its wonderful characters and great story. I really look forward to reading the rest of this series!!
Going through my unread books I found a series I had, Blood and Bone Enforcers MC so I started reading it. A good read of shifters and romance. Fighting for survival.
WOW!!! I have decided I never want in this author's head. The stories that she come's up with blows my mind. I hate to think what it does to hers. Add the amazing crossover story line that she likes to use and I am addicted and I refuse to get help. I love it this way.
We have met both Luke and Tarun in past series so for those that have read other books score one for you. For newbies, have no fear this works well as a stand alone, but also a great beginning of your Grace Brennan book addiction.
Luke and Tarun had many challenges, emotionally and physically, if the want a HEA. Luke has to shelve his alpha male tendencies and Tarun needs to abandon the ways of Druga. Watching them fumble, fall, and rise again was a great reader bonus. Who new mortal memories in the wild can be so hot and wild within the sheets.
This first book in a new series will have you on the edge of your seat and rooting for the good guys. The transition from the previous series to this one is flawless as some familiar characters make appearances and you learn more about the Blood and Bone Enforcers. I loved learning more of the backstory about these characters and how they are all connected. Luke was an interesting character who prided himself on his control but it takes him losing a bit of it before he can really come into himself. Tarun is Jameson's sister and while she enjoyed her life as part of the War Cats tribe, it took her venturing out into the world for the very first time for her to realize her full potential and just who she wants to be. You could feel the connection and sparks between Tarun and Luke as the story progresses. Plenty of twists and surprises made this story immensely enjoyable and left me anxiously awaiting the next book.
Awesome start to a new shifter series!! The Enforcers have arrived....
I was really surprised that Grace Brennan went with a series about the enforcers, since she touched so lightly on them during the War Cats books. However, getting to know each member and especially meeting some mythical (twin??) griffins was awesome! Luke's story is heartbreaking yet courageous, given his backstory and the huge guilt he's felt from permanently harming Vynn, yet he's such a strong man with wonderful morals and beliefs. Tarun really comes into her own in this book, after having met and fell in love with her character in Jameson's book. It's wonderful to see her grow into her self and the true strength and and convictions that lie within her Tiger. Luke and Tarun have wonderful chemistry, and I can't wait to catch up with them and get into more adventures with the Blood and Bone Enforcers MC!!!
Tarun always thought that she was happy in her little village. Luke has struggled with his gift for a while. Danger is coming and they are determined to protect each other. Will they discover who it is before it is to late? Will they accept what they are to each other despite lion and tigers being enemies?
LOVED this book! This book had the right amount of drama, blood, and romance to keep my interested. I loved the fact that despite the way Tarun was raised, she stood up for herself and was determined to do what she could. I didn't blame Luke for being protective, but he was an idiot at times when it came to how he handled things. Couldn't help falling in love with these two and cannot wait for the next book!

First, this book’s characters tie into other series apparently. So you may want to read them before this one. Second, I actually think this authors storyline was a good Idea. But there are some major flaws for me. Its H wasn’t alpha at all. It says he is, but I just found him to be a whiny baby. The MC aspect is minimal at most. It needed more character and story development. I did like the h.
I was completely engrossed in this book. I was wrong at every turn. Every time I thought I knew who and what I was wrong. Grace had me totally surprised. I love all the characters and very much look forward to more.
This book was running a solid 4.5 stars... until the end. What was that ending?? It felt so rushed I honestly kept waiting for something else to happen, and then when it didn’t I felt cheated out of my dramatic ending. It’s a well-written book, but yeah that kinda ruined it a little.
So this was different a shifter MC book. It brought some aspects of each genre into h the story. Iv want a huge fan of the book but others may like it better than i did. I just had a hard time connecting with the characters in it. That's on me though and not the story.
Holy shiznet!!! This is a gr8 story. I love how strong and sassy Tarun is. She's gr8 at maneuvering her brother and Luke. Like is one bad ass shifter yet vulnerable when needed. Gr8 story. I recommend this read 5 Thumbs up
Such a great story. When shifter gifts come full circle Tarun decides to leave Colorado for Nevada to worn Luke. But little does she know that not only helping the Enforcers with a threat but that she would find her mate and new place in life.
Control is a good story but I highly recommend Reading the War Cats series before starting the BBEMC series. The Enforcers make their first appearance in War Cats series. I have enjoyed all the stories I have read by this author. Happy Reading!!
(3.5). It was a good read, but I found myself wanting to know more about the secondary characters then the main ones. I never connected to the male lead and he didn't come across as Alpha at all and that turned me off to the story in general.
I could not read this book, the story had a great concept. But, the delivery is lacking. There is too much inner monologue, and things we don't need. I kept skimming, to try and read it.
Lions and tigers Oh my! That's shifter too as Tabitha gift bring her to the Enforcers door steps with news of danger to the club and new mate in this newest book.
I loved Tarun and Luke’s story. He tries to push her away for her safety, but she digs her heels in and protects him. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!
