Powerful Testimony

It's refreshing to read a book so raw and written in such a real and relatable way. I've never struggled with addiction but reading this book really gives an complete understanding of it while equipping you with empathy and compassion. God bless, Cody.

This is an amazing story of redemption and hope. The tone is conversational and easy to read, but the story is raw and honest. I couldn't put it down, highly recommend

In the Devil’s Pupil, Cody Bates candidly discloses in raw detail the darkness of a life consumed with drugs, gang activity and violence. Gripped by the talons of addiction it appears inevitable that he is on the road to destruction and death. However his story does not end there; the devil’s stronghold cannot match the power of God’s redeeming love.

Cody’s story is important and timely. Even if one hasn’t experienced addiction personally, most of us know someone who has struggled with it. In addition to being educational and informative, The Devil’s Pupil is an inspiring story of hope and restoration. Fully worthy of 5 stars.

Thank you for sharing your story, Cody.
