I officially have a love / hate relationship with Trina. Cliffhangers man. I really hate when my Kindle stops turning pages.
Book 2 starts where the first one left off. This is NOT a standalone boys and girls. You have to read book one or you're going to be lost.
This book has some more character development, as well as getting to know some of our secondary characters better. Plus, we get a whole new world and culture to experience with this book. But, I'm not going to lie. Shit goes down, and shit goes down HARD.
Lifelong secrets are discovered, new characters are introduced, and bonds are tested. There's not much more I can say without spilling spoilers, but you have to read it. It has all the feels, this one.
PROS:
- Move over Merrick, you're my #2 guy now. *le sigh* Gor is so hot.
- Character development
- World creation
- Hint of evil
CONS:
- Trina, I hate you (I jest, you know you're my girl), but you're pretty. CLIFFHANGER WARNING
- I want more Gor ... read to find out who he is (calling dibs)
OVERALL:
I lurved it. I giggled, I squeed, I wanted to get stabbity, I gasped, I swooned. Like I said, all the feels. I can't wait to see what happens, especially after that ending.

The Others Ascension Is Awesome!
No spoilers of any kind included because I don’t like giving away any of the surprises that’s hidden inside of a story!
This book omg this book was freaking amazing!
Just like the first book in this series this one sucked me in before I had even finished the first page and I couldn’t climb out until I had gotten to the end of the book.
Trina Bates has created yet another amazing masterpiece, and I can’t hardly wait until the third book of this series is written because I know it’s going to be another amazing story just like this one and the book before this one.
So yes I most definitely do recommend this book to anyone who’s searching for a fantastic story to climb into and get completely lost within its pages!
But fair warning if you haven’t read the first book in this series then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you will get confused as to who’s who and what’s what very quickly!

The Other Ascension leaves off right where book one left off. This was perfect because it leaves nothing out! This book is about Mira and her trip to her ancestral home land to ascend as a Valkyrie. The entire group makes the trip and they do run into a few obstacles during there time away from Earth. I enjoyed how the story has mystery and intrigue, like you think you know but you don’t! Mira continues to grow in her demon and Valkyrie powers, and she because more and more confident with what she can do. We learn more of the guys in this book, but it really is more Mira’s story with them as secondary characters. I can’t wait to read the next book and see how this group interacts with the newer members of the crew in the battle to retrieve something her father took. Highly enjoyable read!

Book two continues from where book one left off, Mira and her men continue working on what she is and what she can do while in this strange realm. Mira is learning a lot about herself and the twist and turns keep coming with strange twists of fate. Well written I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to book three!

Definitely worth a read
I really enjoyed reading the first two books in this series. There is a lot of story here. She doesn’t leave anything out or leave you trying to guess at what’s going on. She definitely fills in all the blanks. Excellent world building going on in this storyline.

Better than the first book
It's not often that book 2 is actually better than book 1, but this one was. Less editing is needed but it could still do with a once over. Some of the wording is strange.
Some decent steam and a bit of relationship development but still lacking in that area.

Seriously another kick butt book that Trina has knocked out of the ballpark. I hate the cliffhangers but I definitely love this book. Keep up the great work beautiful. I definitely can't wait too read more.

I can’t wait for the next one
The second book did not disappoint. The characters have continued to be fun and I really enjoy watching them grow. I have laughed and cried in this book. It was fantastic and I can’t wait for the next one.

Wonderful
Such a wonderful series. Keeps you wanting to know what is happening with all of the characters. I cannot put it down until the book is finished.
